“Rek! How does this outfit look on me?” Moon Goddess asked shyly, glancing at herself in the mirror.
Rek looked at Moon Goddess in the black evening gown, paired with her silver hair, and felt that she exuded a charm that was usually absent from her, like an alluring temptation added to an innocent girl.
To be fair, Rek also recognized that the designer of this boutique had considerable skill.
“It looks good, but it will take a few years for this outfit to truly suit you. Plus, I don’t want you wearing something a bit revealing in front of others,” Rek said, glancing at what was directly in front of Moon Goddess.
Moon Goddess looked down and quickly realized what Rek meant, blushing as she glared at him.
“Why are you so annoying? Where is it too small? Hmph, I’ll try on another one. But you have to buy this one for me before I graduate in a few years. Store clerk, please keep this dress here and don’t sell it to anyone else,” Moon Goddess huffed, turning back to the fitting room and closing the glass door.
“Do you need to pay a deposit for this dress so it can be held here and not sold to other customers?” Senior Sister asked Rek with a smile.
“No need for a deposit. Given how expensive your clothes are, I doubt this dress will sell before I graduate.
Besides, my little Moon Goddess might just be having a whim; in a few years, she’ll probably forget about it altogether, and I’ll save some money,” Rek said with a smile, giving Senior Sister a knowing look.
Senior Sister laughed upon hearing this and realized that coming to work part-time at the store today was the right decision; she had encountered such an interesting pair of Freshman.

The glass door of the fitting room opened again, and Silver-Haired Girl stepped out wearing a light pink doll dress, looking like a princess from a fairy tale.
"How does this outfit look, Rek?" the Moon Goddess asked as she looked in the mirror.
"It looks good, but it's a bit too childish. It makes you seem even younger, like a little sister," Rek replied, already deciding that if he had to choose an outfit, it would be the last and cheapest blue and white sportswear. Of course, it would be best not to buy anything at all.
"Alright, I'll go try on the next one. I also feel this one is a bit too cartoonish!" the Moon Goddess said and ran back to the fitting room.
Nearby, the Senior Sales Associate, Senior Sister, covered her mouth to suppress a laugh.
Soon, the glass door of the fitting room opened again, and the Moon Goddess emerged wearing a blue and white sports outfit. With her silver hair and small face, she exuded the vibe of a lively sports girl, which suited her perfectly.
"What do you think of this one? I really like this outfit. It meets your original criteria for me picking clothes—no skin showing, and it looks great," the Moon Goddess said as she stood in front of the mirror without moving.
"It's just okay. How about we check out some other stores?" Rek suggested.
"We can check other stores, but we have to buy this one first. I really like this blue and white sports outfit; the fabric feels so comfortable and it looks good," the Moon Goddess insisted, refusing to take off the sportswear as she stood there looking at Rek, waiting for him to pay.
"Alright then, we'll get this one. Let me swipe my Wrist Communicator to see if I can afford it. If I can't pay for it, don't blame me for not buying it for you," Rek said helplessly as he called over Senior Sister to handle the checkout.
Senior Sister skillfully brought over the payment machine and swiped it next to Rek's Wrist Communicator.
Senior Sister had already made up her mind that buying was out of the question, and she was prepared to return the clothes later.
However, she did not expect that when she looked at the prompt on the cash register, her surprised expression turned to Rek, the freshman boy.
"Hello, Rek, the total price for this blue and white sports outfit and shoes is XXX Star Alliance Coin. However, your current Star Alliance Coin balance is insufficient," Senior Sister said, pausing for a moment.
Upon hearing this, Rek looked regretfully at Moon Goddess, signaling her to take off the clothes.
Moon Goddess also looked a bit unhappy at Rek, realizing he couldn't afford it and was preparing to return to the fitting room.
Then Senior Sister spoke again, "But Rek, your Honor Level rating at Super Soldier Academy Fortress is actually S Rank, which gives you a high loan limit, enough to purchase this sports outfit and shoes.
Would you like to use your Honor Level from Super Soldier Academy Fortress for a loan transaction?"
"What! How could that be? When did I become an S Rank in Honor Level?" Rek exclaimed in surprise.
Meanwhile, Moon Goddess, who was about to head back to the fitting room, jumped up excitedly upon hearing Senior Sister's words.
"Loan? Of course, let's go with the loan payment. Rek, I knew you were amazing; I admire you so much!
You wouldn't hesitate to buy me clothes, would you? You haven't given me anything nice before.
You lured me away from my hometown back then, and I followed you. Later, when you entered the Dark Space Super Soldier Academy Fortress as a student, I came to the academy to work in the infirmary with you, Rek!" Moon Goddess looked at Rek with pleading eyes, as if insisting that this outfit must be bought.
"Confirm the loan payment!" Rek said through gritted teeth, feeling helpless. He had taken out a loan this time and wondered how he would pay it back in the future. He estimated that he would need to wait for the Academy Fortress to pay him the task reward before he could settle it, Rek thought to himself.
The Senior Sister smiled happily and quickly processed the loan paperwork for Rek, fearing that if she delayed, the young man might change his mind.
"Are you taking this outfit and shoes in a garment bag, or are you wearing them?" the Senior Sister asked Moon Goddess.
"I'm wearing them! I want to wear such beautiful clothes while shopping. Just help me pack my old clothes into the bag," Moon Goddess replied with a look of happiness.
A few minutes later, wearing a blue and white tracksuit, Moon Goddess happily linked arms with Rek as they walked along the leisure Pedestrian Street.
Rek held a high-end garment bag in one hand, his expression filled with indignation.
"Cheer up! Rek, are you feeling pained about buying me clothes?" Moon Goddess asked, making a funny face at him.
"I'm not pained; I've already bought a whole outfit. How about we head back now?" Rek replied.
"We just got to Leisure Street; let's explore a bit more. Since you bought me an outfit, I'll get you a small gift too. But I can't buy anything expensive since I haven't received my salary from the infirmary this month, and I spent all of last month's pay. I can only get you something cheap," Moon Goddess said.
"You got paid last month and spent it all? I've seen you at the infirmary, but I haven't noticed you buying anything," Rek asked, somewhat puzzled.
