The voice of the War God System echoed in Rek's mind, and soon a Golden Time-Space Gate appeared before him once again. 0

"Missing my sister? What a load of nonsense about Parallel Space! I don't want to be a Monster Leader. War God System, you're ruthless. Just by thinking about it, you throw me into the mission world and even toss me into a base controlled by that crazy Biological Light Brain, not letting me enjoy the New Year." Rek complained, but he knew that the mission and the time-space gate had already appeared, and he had no choice but to carry out the War God System's task. 0

Gritting his teeth, Rek stepped into the Golden Time-Space Gate. 0

As Rek entered, the time-space gate quickly closed behind him. He felt as if he had lost all sense of time and space, with everything around him shaking chaotically. 0

After an unknown amount of time, Rek woke up to find himself lying on a ground made of concrete and metal. He was in a small room. 0

The room was very simple, with a rusty Metal Bed covered in tattered bedding. The only decoration in the room was a mirror that was cracked more than halfway. 0

Rek looked at himself in the cracked mirror. 0

His body and appearance had changed; he had three legs. On his right leg, there were two feet—one foot on the ground and one foot floating in the air. Moreover, the person in the mirror had one large eye and one small eye, appearing to be in his twenties, with skin that was mottled with patches of color. 0

This sight startled Rek despite his mental preparation. 0

Fortunately, when Rek looked down, he still had two feet; the extra foot only appeared in the mirror. When he looked with his own eyes, he couldn't see the extra foot, and his skin looked normal. 0

Bending down, Rek touched his right leg; the foot shown in the mirror simply did not exist. 0

"It seems this is what the War God System meant by hiding my healthy appearance. To others looking at me or using equipment to observe me, I am still a mutated monster." 0

"But this body is still my own." Rek sighed inwardly and noticed a countdown of twenty-nine days and twenty-three hours above his right eye. 0

When this countdown ends, it should mean that the mission time has run out. 0

Rek tried to walk out of the room and saw that he was inside a high-altitude metal canopy known as the Metal Base. 0

His living space was just a small Metal Room adjacent to the Metal Base, connected to it by hundreds of other Metal Rooms, all arranged neatly. 0

In this base, many people were moving about. Rek observed that most of them had indifferent expressions, rarely spoke, and none looked like normal humans; having an extra arm or leg was considered normal, while some had two heads or four eyes. 0

As he stood there in a mutated Human Base infected with abnormalities, Rek was lost in thought when a girl with two legs and three breasts approached him. 0

"Rek, you're awake! Come with me to Father God; I've been looking for you for a while. I thought you were still asleep. Father said he would check our bodies today, so don't be late. Otherwise, Father God's punishment is very severe," the girl said to Rek in a fearful tone, grabbing his arm and quickly leading him toward the center of the base. 0

Rek followed the girl with three breasts, thinking that the identity assigned to him by the War God System wasn't too bad; at least his name hadn't changed—he was still called Rek. 0

"What kind of check are we doing today? I just had a nightmare, and my head feels a bit dizzy," Rek said aloud. 0

"Wake up quickly! You even forgot about the monthly health check. Be careful not to mention your poor memory to others; if Father God finds out, you might get eliminated," the girl whispered to Rek. 0

After hearing this, Rek fell silent and continued walking with the girl through the Metal Base. 0

Along the way, the girl was quite talkative, sharing various little stories with Rek. 0

As Rek familiarized himself with the surrounding architecture while listening to her chatter, he learned that this girl with three breasts was named Green Garb—a rather strange name given to her by Father. 0

"After completing today's health check, we can combine next week. I hope our future children will be more perfect, like some humans," Green Garb said to Rek. 0

"What! We are going to combine and have children!" Rek exclaimed, looking at the girl with three breasts. She appeared to be around eighteen or nineteen years old, seeming a few years younger than him. Although her face looked fine, the three well-developed breasts were prominently displayed. 0

She mentioned that they would combine and have children in seven days. 0

Rek had only just met Green Garb less than an hour ago. 0

Now, Rek felt that he had been trapped by the new identity assigned to him by the War God System, being thrust into marriage to create a new humanity right after arriving. 0

"Isn't it a bit too fast to combine in seven days? After all, we aren't particularly familiar yet," Rek tried to say. 0

Upon hearing Rek's words, Green Garb raised her hand and punched him lightly on the head. "What nonsense are you talking about? We've known each other since childhood, even though we've had less contact in recent years. 0

That's just because we lived far apart. 0

However, I can move in with you in seven days, or you can come to my place. Your memory seems to be having issues; Rek, you need to be careful not to ask others such questions. 0

The timing and selection for our combination are determined by Father God based on our genes. Father God arranged for us to combine because there is a possibility that the genes of our children could result in normal human traits, although the chances are low. 0

Father God's will cannot be questioned or defied. 0

I don't even hope for our future child to be a perfect human; as long as our child meets the minimum standards defined by Father God for Mutated Humans, that would suffice to avoid being erased by Father God." Green Garb said to Rek, glaring at him. 0

Rek understood that all the unions within the base were arranged by someone called Father God. Father God should be the Biological Light Brain mentioned by the War God System. 0

This Biological Light Brain had examined the gene pool of all Mutated Humans in the base and was attempting to pair them up in hopes of making the next generation of Mutants into normal humans. 0

But the War God System has already stated that this is simply impossible to succeed. Rek, who studies medicine, is aware of some aspects of Genetic Inheritance. 0

The world they are in now is five hundred years after the Cataclysm. Outside this Metal Base, the area is likely still filled with radiation and toxic gases. 0

The people inside this base are Clones created by the Biological Light Brain using the genes of humans infected by mutations. 0

Once genes undergo mutations, especially those heavily affected by radiation, there is a very slim chance they will revert back to normal. Not to mention that both individuals involved are genetic mutants. 0

Rek looked at the various monster-like beings they encountered along the way, feeling as if he had entered a haunted amusement park. 0

After walking for half an hour, a little girl in a Green Garb with three breasts led Rek to the front of a Large Metal Structure at the center of the base. 0

In front of the metal building was a Biological Shielding Door. Although Rek sensed that the energy was very weak, it was still operational. 0

The Green Garb girl showed no reaction and habitually took Rek's hand, leading him into the metal structure. 0

Upon entering, Rek discovered that the interior of the metal building was lined with silver-white metal walls. In the center, high above, there was a large Glass Container containing what appeared to be a brain tissue about the size of a soccer ball, submerged in the container. 0

The Glass Container was connected to numerous pipelines that spread throughout the entire silver-white Metal Room. 0

About ten meters away from the Glass Container stood a row of glass pods resembling coffins. 0

"Come on, let's quickly enter the Examination Pod. This is our final body gene check before merging," said the Green Garb girl excitedly as she pulled Rek's hand and walked towards the Examination Pod. 0

Rek watched as the Green Garb girl carefully opened the door of one of the glass pods and stepped inside. 0

The glass pod door quickly closed, and blue lights flashed inside, illuminating the girl with three breasts. 0

In the glass pod, Green Garb looked at Rek with wide eyes, signaling him to quickly enter the glass pod beside her for inspection. 0

Rek glanced up at the biological brain floating in the center of the building, then steeled himself and entered the nearby glass pod, closing the hatch behind him. 0

"The identity and hidden abilities provided by the War God System shouldn't be too bad. The War God System said that only a particularly thorough examination would reveal that I don't belong here. 0

This simple gene scan should be something the War God System can fake. It won't let me get discovered right after I arrive!" Rek thought to himself. 0

The glass pod above Green Garb displayed a series of data, and as the blue light finished, Rek saw that the final result for Green Garb in the Examination Pod was eighty-three point two percent. This likely indicated the percentage of normal human genes present in Green Garb. 0

Green Garb emerged, smiling at Rek in the Examination Pod, her expression initially calm. 0

However, after waiting for more than ten minutes, the blue scanning light continued to shine on Rek's body without interruption. 0

Seeing Green Garb's surprised expression, Rek realized that things might be going poorly. 0

"This War God System is such a scam; it must have messed up the concealment effect. I've been exposed right after arriving!" Rek thought anxiously. 0

As the blue scanning light concluded, the hatch opened, and Rek stepped out. He saw that his Examination Pod displayed a normal human gene ratio of ninety-nine point nine nine nine percent. 0

Green Garb covered her mouth with her small hand, astonished by this result. 0

"Rek, is there something wrong with the Examination Pod? Last time your normal gene ratio was eighty-one point three percent. 0

How did it become so high this time? 0

This is practically the gene of a perfect human." 0

"In our base, the highest normal gene ratio observed over the years is only ninety-two point five percent; it has never been higher," Green Garb said in surprise, looking at Rek. 0

The brain suspended in the Glass Container within Metal Hall began to pulse rapidly. The Glass Container, which housed the brain, slowly descended from above and moved in front of Rek. 0

Rek could see the milky white brain tissue pulsing inside the container. 0

"Rek, please enter the Examination Pod next to you for a recheck," a voice from a speaker on the Milky White Brain's Glass Container announced, sounding like that of an elder. 0

As the Milky White Brain finished speaking, another closed glass Examination Pod door opened again. 0

Rek calculated in his mind whether he could directly kill this Biological Light Brain using Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation at this moment. 0

However, looking at the Glass Container housing the Biological Light Brain, it appeared to be made of specially crafted Synthetic Glass. Even he would find it difficult to damage it in a short time; it would likely take over ten minutes of continuous attacks to break through its defenses. 0

But Rek also knew that within this Biological Light Brain's base, if he made a move against it—even ten seconds would result in him being turned into pulp by the numerous hidden attack weapons and beams within this Metal Room. 0

When Rek entered, he had already observed the walls and pillars around him. This silver Metal Hall was filled with numerous ballistic and Laser Emitter Ports hidden away. 0

This silver Metal Room could be described as a forbidden zone densely packed with high-level lethal weapon defenses. 0

Steeling himself, Rek entered the open Examination Pod once more. The three little girls in Green Garb nearby dared not make a sound and anxiously awaited Rek's examination results. 0

Blue light shone on Rek again. This examination was quick; it concluded in just three to five minutes, and the glass door of the Examination Pod opened. 0

Rek stepped out, feeling somewhat nervous as he looked at the data displayed above his Examination Pod. 0

After reviewing it, Rek felt relieved; this time, the Examination Pod indicated that his normal gene ratio was eighty-one point three percent. 0

The three girls in Green Garb beside them sighed in relief, looking at Rek with expressions of happiness. 0

"It seems the instrument was used for too long and encountered some minor issues. The examination results for both of you, Green Garb and Rek, are out. According to the analysis, if you two combine, your future child has a chance of being a normal human. 0

The normal ratio of your genes is among the top in the base, so don't let me down again. 0

In seven days, you will be allowed to cohabit legally." The aged voice came again from the container holding the brain. After delivering this message, the container began to rise slowly, returning to the center of the Metal Hall. 0

"Yes, Father God," Green Garb said excitedly, looking at Rek with a blissful expression. 0

At that moment, Rek heard the voice of the War God System in his mind: "Host, that was quite thrilling, wasn't it?" 0

"Yes!" Rek replied, thinking to himself that it was fortunate this time the War God System didn't slack off and covered up his physical condition; otherwise, he would have likely had a confrontation with this Biological Light Brain monster. 0

He imagined that being on its territory could lead to dissection or being treated as a male breeding horse to produce normal humans. The bizarre female humans he had seen along the way made him feel uneasy, and cold sweat trickled down his back. 0

"Thrilling my foot, War God System! You better not mess around. In this parallel universe mission world, one slip-up from you could cause me to fail my mission and die. Who will take responsibility then?" Rek said fiercely to the War God System in his mind. 0

Seeing Rek lost in thought again, Green Garb quickly pulled him out of the Metal Hall. 0
