Back in the apartment, Xinran tiredly collapsed onto the living room sofa. Her head ached, her feet hurt, and her heart was in turmoil. "You mean Carman Gu Jialan? What about your identity offended her? I never expected her to be so arrogant; didn't the media say she was easy to get along with?" Jerry raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Fan Jierui, is this your first day as a manager? Can you trust what the media says? If I could trust them, I wouldn't be Augus's girlfriend!" Xinran suddenly jumped out of Jerry's embrace, raising her eyebrows and glaring at him.
"So, Gu Jialan reprimanded you because you're Augus's girlfriend?" Jerry suddenly chuckled softly, finding this reason amusing. He initially held back his laughter but soon couldn't stop himself from laughing heartily.
"No sympathy!" Xinran shot Jerry a glare and coldly said, "Fan Jierui, I plan to withdraw from Diamond Absolute Love. Please help me explain to Chen Dao tomorrow!"
"What? You're going to... withdraw?" Jerry abruptly stopped laughing, his expression changing dramatically as he asked in shock.
"Yes, withdraw!"
"Why? Isn't acting in Chen Dao's play your long-held dream? You're going to give up such a great opportunity just because Gu Jialan reprimanded you? Summer, you're not that kind of person; you used to..."
"Stop! Jerry, this time I have to give up, but it's not because of Gujialan! If it were just for her, I wouldn't give up.
