The next morning, lazy sunlight streamed in through the window, casting a warm glow on the two people lying in bed.
Mo Xiaohui lay on her back, half curled under the covers, revealing her slender legs that were playfully draped over Li Nan's ankle, exuding a captivating charm.
The gentle light seemed to rouse Mo Xiaohui from her slumber. After rubbing her eyes, she reached out and pulled Li Nan closer, laughing, "The sun is shining on your backside; why aren't you getting up?"
Li Nan propped his head up with his left arm, half-reclining as he looked directly at Mo Xiaohui, remaining silent.
Mo Xiaohui chuckled, "What are you staring at?"
Li Nan smiled and replied, "I'm looking at you!"
Mo Xiaohui placed her hands on Li Nan's face and teased, "It's early in the morning, and you're just staring at me. Aren't you afraid of getting tired of it?"
Li Nan shook his head. "Looking at you will never get old!"
The two of them on the bed faced each other without any awkwardness; after all, they had done something so wild the night before that it was time to be sincere with one another.
Li Nan reached out and brushed Mo Xiaohui's hair. "How can you be so beautiful? You've captured my heart completely; there's no room for any other woman!"
Seeing Li Nan's serious expression, Mo Xiaohui countered, "Is there no place for other women in your heart? You said that yourself. If you ever stray in the future, don't forget what you said today!"
Li Nan chuckled softly. "Silly girl, why do you have to be so unromantic? Always talking about such gloomy things. If I ever change my heart, then let me be unable to lift a gun and live my life as a man with feelings but no power!"
Mo Xiaohui covered Li Nan's mouth. "You can't say that! If you can't lift a gun, what will happen to my happiness for the rest of my life?"
Li Nan smiled. "You still can't bear to part with me!"
Mo Xiaohui pouted. "Only you can talk like that. After last night, I'm your woman now. You have to treat me wholeheartedly; you can't bully me, can't make me angry, and can't flirt with other women... In short, you belong to me."
Li Nan held Mo Xiaohui in his arms and gently kissed her forehead, saying, "I will take good care of you!"
Under a large blanket, two people lay side by side, embracing each other as they fell asleep.
When Mo Xiaohui noticed a corner of the bed stained with a few drops of blood, she immediately tried to cover it with the blanket. Li Nan laughed and said, "What's there to be embarrassed about? We've already done it; why worry about seeing it?"

Li Nan wanted to press down on her but suddenly heard the knocking and shouted unhappily, "Who is it?"
A female voice outside replied, "Nan Ge, it's time to get up; breakfast is ready!"
Li Nan turned to Mo Xiaohui and said, "I just woke up and I'm already being disturbed!"
Mo Xiaohui giggled and said, "A whole night wasn't enough for you? You're going to wear me out! This time you handle it yourself!" After saying that, she began to get up and put on her clothes.
Li Nan watched her dress and chuckled, "You weren't saying that last night!"
Mo Xiaohui turned back and asked, "What did I say last night?"
"You said... take me... take me..."
Mo Xiaohui immediately threw a pillow at him and exclaimed, "Pervert! Acting like a pervert so early in the morning. I wonder if the police are coming to catch you!"
Li Nan caught the pillow with one hand and laughed heartily.
About five or six minutes later, the door to Li Nan's room was finally opened.
Mo Xiaohui was the first to step out, followed closely by Li Nan, who was pulling up his pants and fastening his belt as he walked out slowly.
Outside, Xin Qiqi saw the two of them coming out one after the other and immediately understood what had happened, a knowing smile appearing on her lips.
Li Dapeng, who lived in the house across from them, had also gotten up early. Seeing Mo Xiaohui's disheveled appearance, he asked her and Li Nan, "What were you two doing last night?"
Mo Xiaohui paused for a moment before replying, "We didn't do anything, just had a heart-to-heart talk!"

Li Nan moved closer to Li Dapeng and said, "You'll understand these things between adults in the future!"
Li Dapeng responded with an "Oh," then added, "So you two were doing it last night!"
Li Nan opened his mouth wide in surprise. "What! You're only twelve years old, yet you know quite a bit!"
Li Dapeng shrugged it off. "I know much more than you think!" He then turned around and headed to the dining table to eat breakfast.
Li Nan faced Xin Qiqi, who quickly waved her hands and said, "I didn't say anything!"
Li Nan shook his head and could only pull Mo Xiaohui to the dining table for breakfast.
Breakfast was prepared by Xin Qiqi: several bowls of Rice Porridge and two plates of pickled vegetables. Though simple, it was full of flavor.
After finishing their meal, Li Nan dragged Mo Xiaohui back into the room while she silently thought to herself, "What do you want to do? It's still broad daylight; aren't you ashamed?"
Li Nan had a serious expression on his face. "What dirty thoughts are you thinking about all day? I have something serious to discuss with you!"
With a loud "bang," the door to Li Nan's room was shut, and outside, Li Dapeng said to Xin Qiqi, "They are going to get busy again. Let's go out and have some fun!"
Xin Qiqi smiled, "This room isn't even cleaned up yet. How can I go play with you?"
"What's there to clean in this room? Come on, I'll teach you how to shoot!" He then casually pulled out a German Walther P99 hidden under his clothes.
Xin Qiqi hesitated for a moment, but seeing how beautiful the gun was, she nodded.
Inside the room, Li Nan pulled Mo Xiaohui over to the bed and asked seriously, "Have you noticed anything unusual?"
Mo Xiaohui looked confused. "What are you talking about?"
"I feel that Li Dapeng is a bit precocious. This morning, he even mentioned 'doing it.' Do you think a twelve-year-old boy has started producing male hormones?"
Mo Xiaohui still didn't understand what Li Nan was getting at. "What are you trying to say?"
Li Nan replied earnestly, "What I'm saying is, does a twelve-year-old boy need sexual enlightenment? Should I talk to him about it to prevent any misunderstandings or trouble later on?"
Mo Xiaohui lightly hit Li Nan. "Is that really necessary? Did your dad ever talk to you about it? Where did your sexual enlightenment come from?"
Li Nan chuckled awkwardly. "I naturally didn't receive any guidance. In my time, the internet was so developed that Teacher Cang was enough for my enlightenment. But Li Dapeng is different; in this apocalypse, what does he have? So I feel it's my duty not to let my misunderstandings from back then carry over to Li Dapeng."
Seeing Li Nan's serious face, Mo Xiaohui laughed and said, "Alright then, go talk to Li Dapeng. Your knowledge of biology might not be that extensive either!"
Li Nan was speechless. "I'm still trying to organize my thoughts. After all, this is my first time doing something like this; I'm not exactly experienced!"
Mo Xiaohui chuckled and said, "It's like second nature to you... there, just like second nature!"
Due to the thrilling events of yesterday, Li Nan decided to take a day off to resolve Li Dapeng's enlightenment issues. Now, Li Nan realized that education in certain aspects in China was still quite lacking!
At noon, Li Nan walked out of the Small Buildings and saw Li Dapeng teaching Xin Qiqi how to shoot. Although his posture was not very standard, he looked quite serious, showing a bit of a teacher's demeanor!
Li Nan called from behind, "Li Dapeng, do you know how to shoot? You're leading others astray here!"
Li Dapeng turned around and, seeing it was Li Nan, explained, "I've seen others shoot; that counts as knowing how!"
Li Nan leaned closer and said with a smile, "I have an empty shell here; why don't you take a shot and see?"
Li Dapeng took the bullet from Li Nan, loaded it into the magazine, held the gun with both hands, and aimed at a wooden target twenty meters away.
After aiming for two or three minutes without firing, Li Nan laughed and said, "I couldn't shoot before either. Later I met a police officer who gave me an M1911, and I gradually learned how!"
Li Nan pulled back the slide on Li Dapeng's gun and said to him, "Aim with both eyes, pull the trigger, let the bullet fly out, hit the target, and then you'll succeed!"
Under the sunlight, Li Dapeng held the gun firmly while his right index finger wobbled near the trigger!
Beads of sweat had already formed on Li Dapeng's forehead when Xin Qiqi, standing nearby, pulled out a handkerchief from her pocket and gently wiped his forehead!
At the moment Xin Qiqi removed the handkerchief, Li Dapeng suddenly pulled the trigger. A bullet shot out of the barrel and hit the target directly!
After hitting the target with the blank round, it left no trace on it and fell to the ground.
Li Dapeng smiled and then waved his hand at Li Nan, saying, "See, I can shoot!"
Li Nan chuckled, "Being able to shoot is the most basic transformation from a boy to a man. Congratulations, you are now an adult!"
Li Dapeng's smile widened, while Li Nan continued, "This German Walther P99 is a gift for you. As for Mo Xiaohui, I'll find her a good gun too!"
After saying that, Li Nan turned to leave. Xin Qiqi's gaze wandered off as she silently thought, "He saved Brother Three and is someone the remaining two leaders in the camp fear. What kind of man is he?"
Li Dapeng turned around and asked, "So, do you want to learn?"
Xin Qiqi snapped back to reality and replied, "Can I really learn?"
Li Dapeng nodded, "Why not? Once you learn to shoot, you can protect yourself in this apocalypse. You won't have to rely on others; you can survive on your own strength!"
Xin Qiqi's eyes lit up. "Really?"
"Really! I would never lie to a woman!"
(Actually, there is a subtle love between Li Dapeng and Xin Qiqi, but like that empty bullet shell, this love was destined for a tragic ending from the very beginning. Just a little spoiler, don't mind me!)
