At dawn on the second day, contrary to what Elder Brother Liu Long and Second Brother Gao Hu expected, there was no news coming from Li Nan's Small Buildings. Just as both sides were trying to gather information, someone suddenly reported that two corpses were hanging from the large iron gate of the camp!

However, even though Brother Three is currently unwell, dealing with these two little thieves would be a piece of cake! Li Nan looked around and noticed that Elder Brother and Second Brother had not come over. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself, "Indeed, they are feeling guilty!"
Clearing his throat, Li Nan continued, "Someone told me that the appearance of these little thieves was suspicious since they chose to strike when Brother Three was sick. It seems someone has ulterior motives!"
Li Nan paused for a moment before laughing again. "At that time, I slapped that gossiping person and scolded him. I've heard some crazy talk in the camp too; those things are just ridiculous. Could these little thieves have been sent by Elder Brother and Second Brother? What a joke! The three brothers in the camp are like family; these little thieves are clearly being manipulated by someone with bad intentions to sow discord among us. If I find out who did this, I will not let them off easily!"
After finishing his speech, Li Nan fired a shot at each of the corpses and said to those nearby, "Hang them up for a day as a warning to any troublemakers!"
At that moment, someone emerged from the crowd of onlookers—it was Mouse.
Li Nan smiled and said, "Brother Mouse, what brings you here?"
Mouse glanced at the two corpses and replied with a smile, "Brother Nan has sharp eyes; you've seen through this scheme. Someone is definitely plotting something to sow discord among the brothers!"
Li Nan patted Mouse on the back. "You think so too?"
Mouse nodded. "Of course! The three brothers are like family; how could they do such a thing?"
Li Nan couldn't help but laugh at the serious expression on the Rat's face.
The Rat, puzzled by Li Nan's reaction, asked, "Does Brother Nan have any doubts?"
Li Nan waved his hand, "No! I just thought of a joke, that's why I laughed!"
The Rat looked suspicious, "What joke?"
"I thought of Pinocchio!" Li Nan changed the subject and continued, "Unfortunately, people aren't Pinocchio; when they lie, their noses don't grow longer!"
The Rat forced a smile and said, "Brother Nan is joking. But about that matter I mentioned earlier, do you have any thoughts?"
Li Nan pretended to be confused, "What matter?"
The Rat frowned and reminded him, "Getting a tank near Jiangbei Hospital. What do you think? Are you interested, Brother Nan?"
Li Nan yawned and then turned around, saying, "Well... this..."
Seeing Li Nan's hesitation, the Rat immediately added, "Brother Long has been looking for Liu Xiaofei these days!"
Li Nan suddenly turned around and softly said, "Are you threatening me?"
The Rat shook his head, "Brother Nan is joking again. How could I dare to threaten you? It's just that Brother Long seems a bit anxious!"
Li Nan's expression changed, "Alright then, I'll go along with you. But I need to bring a few brothers with me!"
The Rat smiled broadly, "Of course, of course!"
"When do we set off?" Li Nan asked, raising an eyebrow. "How about tomorrow?"
Li Nan hesitated, "There's no time like the present; how about today?"
The Rat glanced at the time and replied, "We aren't prepared for today; it seems a bit rushed!"
Li Nan chuckled, "What is there to prepare? Just bring people and guns; what else do we need?"
"Alright... alright!" The Rat agreed and immediately turned to leave.
Li Nan couldn't help but smile to himself, "It's not easy to manipulate this Rat!"

Li Nan turned back to the Small Buildings and said to Fatty, "We need to get moving!"
Fatty hesitated, "Where exactly can we find the Snake Venom Antidote?"
At that moment, if Li Nan didn't explain clearly, Fatty and the others wouldn't be willing to go along, so he clarified, "There's a building across from Jiangbei Hospital. On the upper floors is a Medical Research Center that specializes in researching Snake Venom Antidote. That's where we're headed!"
Fatty was overjoyed, "I knew you would have a plan! But... I heard that there was a big fire at Jiangbei Hospital. Was the Medical Research Center affected?"
Li Nan shook his head, "I witnessed the fire at Jiangbei Hospital myself, and the Medical Research Center is absolutely intact!"
Upon hearing this, Fatty seemed invigorated, "Then let's set off right now!"

"Alright!" Fatty thought to himself, then pulled Bitter Melon over.

Lin Hai was also called over by Li Nan, and the four of them were ready to set off.
Inside the Small Buildings, Li Nan said to Bitter Melon, "You need to ensure Brother Three's safety. We cannot have incidents like last night happen again!"
Bitter Melon nodded, "I've arranged for reliable people. Plus, with your show of strength today, I believe the two big brothers won't make any moves."
"That's best!" Li Nan thought to himself when he heard the sound of a car horn outside.
Li Nan smiled widely, "Let's go! The car is here!"
Haozi was driving an SUV and greeted Li Nan as he approached, "Nan Ge! How come these guys are around you?"
Li Nan got into the passenger seat and replied, "What's the problem with that?"
Seeing Li Nan's entourage, Haozi realized he had been tricked. However, it was too late for him; he had no other options left.
Bitter Melon, Fatty, and Lin Hai sat in the back seat. Since Haozi's SUV was quite spacious, having five people inside wasn't cramped at all!
As the SUV drove out of the iron gate, Haozi turned to Bitter Melon behind him and said, "Things change so fast. The last time we went on a mission together, Brother Hai was still alive!"
Bitter Melon shrugged it off, "Brother Hai's death was quite frustrating."
Haozi chuckled bitterly, "In this apocalypse, who doesn't die in a frustrating way? I wonder who will lose their life on this mission."
Li Nan replied, "I see who dies, but you, Rat Brother, will not die!"
The Rat humbly said, "Brother Nan is joking with me again!"
Li Nan said seriously, "I'm not joking!"
For a moment, the atmosphere in the off-road vehicle became a bit strange, and the Rat, knowing his place, stopped saying anything.
The off-road vehicle performed well; in this apocalypse, it was quite a decent ride. With great horsepower and strong maneuverability, it could easily crush a few Zombies.
After driving for about an hour, Li Nan could already see the charred remains of the Jiangbei Hospital Building.
The Rat stepped on the brakes and stopped at an intersection, then said, "It's not safe around Jiangbei Hospital. There used to be a large number of troops stationed there, but they have all turned into Zombies now. It's truly a Zombie Legion!"
Fatty snorted softly, "Isn't it just to grab one or two tanks? By the way, can you even drive that thing?"
Due to Li Nan's previous explanation, Fatty pretended that they were here to help the Rat steal tanks.
Hearing Fatty's words, the Rat laughed and said, "If I couldn't get that thing out, I wouldn't have come!"
Fatty chuckled heartily, "I didn't expect you, Shifty Eyes, to be quite versatile. But I'm not afraid; whatever you can drive away, I can get you more!"
The Rat raised an eyebrow, seemingly unimpressed by Fatty's words.
As the Rat was about to get out of the car, Li Nan asked, "What you mentioned earlier about a police officer hovering around here— is that true?"
"I heard it from someone else. As for its truthfulness, I can't say for sure!"
Li Nan, holding a Compound Bow, jumped out of the car and asked, "Lin Hai, you used to be a police officer. Do you know someone named Han Guang?"
Lin Hai, carrying his AK-47 and following closely behind Li Nan, muttered, "Han Guang? Which Han Guang?"
Li Nan reiterated, "The Captain of Jiangbei Police Station, Han Guang!"
At this moment, Lin Hai was taken aback and replied, "I am from Jiangbei Police Station, and the Captain is not named Han Guang!"
Hearing this, Li Nan was extremely surprised. "What did you say?"
Lin Hai didn't understand why Li Nan was asking him that. "The Captain of Jiangbei Police Station is not named Han Guang!"
Li Nan's body suddenly stiffened, then he asked, "Was there a Captain named Han Guang in the previous term?"
