When Li Nan and the others broke into the Small Buildings, a group of brothers was already squeezed inside.
A Fei pushed away those around him, saying, "Everyone, stop with the long faces and clear a path!"
Dozens of men stood in the lobby of the Small Buildings, and Li Nan only recognized the leader, the Long-Faced Man, and his long hair.

Lin Hai stood at the edge of the hall with a stern expression. Although he carried an AK-47 on his back, he did not dare to relax, believing that every man in the room had taken at least two lives.
Li Nan walked at the front, stepping onto the stairs with a firm "thud," followed closely by Fatty and three others.
Previously, Brother Three had been placed in a room on the second floor by Li Nan. Li Nan approached and checked Brother Three's breath; he had indeed stopped breathing, and his body temperature had already cooled.
Li Nan frowned. "Who discovered Brother Three's death first?"
Long-Faced Man continued, "It was... Sister-in-law!"
"It was Mo Xiaohui!" Li Nan murmured and then asked, "Where is she?"
Long-Faced Man trembled as he replied, "She's upstairs now. When Sister-in-law told me about Brother Three's unfortunate news, I was worried that the brothers downstairs might get restless, so I arranged for her to stay upstairs!"
Li Nan nodded slightly, seemingly approving of Long-Faced Man's arrangement.
"Bring Mo Xiaohui in..." Before Li Nan could finish his sentence, there was a knock on the door from outside.
Li Nan looked suspiciously and asked, "Did you leak Brother Three's news?"
At that moment, the Long-Faced Man pleaded, "No! Absolutely not! After Brother Three had an accident, I called all the brothers into the Small Buildings and forbade them from going out on their own, so there's no way Brother Three's news could have leaked!"

Li Nan lifted the blanket to find Brother Three lying stiffly on the bed without a single injury. After checking for a while, he murmured, "Brother Three didn't die from external injuries. Could it really be due to the Snake Venom left in his body?"
Turning around, Li Nan asked Mo Xiaohui, "When did you discover that Brother Three had stopped breathing?"
Mo Xiaohui replied, "I fed Brother Three some Rice Porridge at noon and then went to clean up. When I returned to check on him again, Brother Three had already lost his breath!"
Li Nan asked suspiciously, "How was Brother Three's condition during lunch?"
Mo Xiaohui answered, "Although he didn't eat much, he seemed fine and didn't look like someone in critical condition at all. So Brother Three definitely didn't die of natural causes!"

Li Nan frowned and immediately asked, "Did only Brother Three eat the Rice Porridge at noon?"

Curled up under the covers, Li Dapeng didn't understand what Li Nan was talking about. Meanwhile, Li Nan held the bowl of Rice Porridge and turned to say, "This Rice Porridge has already cooled down; don't eat it!"
Li Dapeng nodded and then pulled a roll of toilet paper from beside the bed into the covers with one hand.
Li Nan didn't notice Li Dapeng's small action; after all, it's quite normal for a man to have some little quirks.
Li Nan held the bowl of Rice Porridge and walked out of Li Da Peng's room, gently closing the door behind him.
Mo Xiaohui rushed over and, seeing the bowl of Rice Porridge in Li Nan's hands, exclaimed in disbelief, "No way... it can't be..."
Li Nan lightly patted Mo Xiaohui's shoulder, reassuring her, "It's okay, Li Da Peng is fine!"

Li Nan called out to Xin Qiqi, asking her to help Mo Xiaohui rest while he took the bowl of Rice Porridge back into Brother Three's room.
Fatty saw Li Nan holding the large bowl and was taken aback, saying, "Could it really be that there's something wrong with this Rice Porridge?"
Li Nan did not respond directly but said, "Go get a Yellow Dog; we'll find out!"
Upon hearing Li Nan's words, Long-Faced Man immediately went downstairs and brought up a local Yellow Dog. Li Nan poured the Rice Porridge onto the ground, and the Yellow Dog wagged its tail excitedly, approaching and licking it eagerly!
The Yellow Dog's tail wagged back and forth as if celebrating that it finally had some good food to eat. However, before it could continue enjoying itself, the Yellow Dog suddenly trembled and collapsed on the ground!
