Fatty carried Lin Hai and rushed into the cluster of large leaves.
Once inside, Fatty felt a moment of dizziness; how could there be such a scene behind these big tree leaves!
He saw a vibrant orange-red plant standing behind a pile of large leaves. This plant looked quite strange, standing two to three meters tall, with a bulging belly at its waist like a pregnant woman. However, upon closer inspection, it was not a pregnant belly at all but rather a swollen hollow diameter resembling a goblet, except that the opening at the top was covered by a large leaf with distinct veins.
This bizarre plant was not worth much attention, so Fatty immediately began searching for Nan Ge and the others.
After looking around, A Fei spoke up from Fatty's back: "In the direction of thirteen o'clock!"
Fatty turned to look and saw that the Dark Green Plant Branch was entangling Lin Hai, trying to exert force on him, while Li Nan had already raised his Cleaver and charged forward.

From the bullet hole about the thickness of a thumb, viscous fluid was oozing out in drips, which was quite disgusting. The speed of the Dark Green Plant Branch seemed to have slowed down somewhat.
Seeing this, Li Nan realized that this creature was not invulnerable. This meant that as long as he gave it his all, there would definitely be a chance of victory!

The Dark Green Plant Branch sensed its main body was injured and immediately stood upright, no longer caring about Lin Hai, and retreated along the same path.
Seeing the situation turn favorable, Li Nan quickly pursued and shouted to Li Dapeng behind him, "Go check on Lin Hai; you need to ensure his safety!"
Li Dapeng did not respond but immediately ran towards Lin Hai.

Just as Li Nan was suspicious, a buzzing sound suddenly emerged from behind a cluster of large leaves, and the noise grew increasingly intense!
Fatty had already sensed something unusual behind him. He quickly turned around and shouted to A Fei, "It's that big guy; we need to be on guard!"
Before A Fei could react to Fatty's warning, a Big-Headed Fly, comparable in size to a young pony, flew towards them.
The Big-Headed Fly scanned its surroundings and immediately realized something. Without hesitation, it charged straight at Fatty.
"Damn it!" Fatty cursed under his breath. As the saying goes, enemies see each other with extra hostility; Fatty hated this Big-Headed Fly to the core. He shouted at A Fei, "Attack! We have to kill it today..."
Before Fatty could finish his sentence, the Big-Headed Fly, with incredible speed, swooped down and knocked both Fatty and A Fei apart. During this process, A Fei didn't even manage to fire a single bullet, highlighting just how fast the Big-Headed Fly was!
Lying on the ground, Fatty gritted his teeth in frustration and immediately looked for A Fei. However, the Big-Headed Fly seemed uninterested in them; after knocking them down, it didn't even glance back and headed straight for the large-bellied plant body.
Right in front of that large-bellied plant body stood Li Nan, sharpening his blade with the intent to strike down.
Li Nan had already noticed that the Big-Headed Fly had charged in, so he decisively aimed to eliminate this troublesome plant first. However, before he could strike, the Big-Headed Fly was already lunging at him from behind!
Li Nan was aware of the Big-Headed Fly's strength, and at that moment, he had no time to attack. He quickly dodged to the side, attempting to evade the incoming creature.
Rolling on the ground, Li Nan drew out his Desert Eagle, disregarding whether he would hit or not, and fired bullets as a distraction.
After rolling over two meters, Li Nan pushed against the ground to stabilize himself. He then looked up just in time to see the Big-Headed Fly swooping down with its wings flapping fiercely.
"This is troublesome!" Li Nan couldn't help but mutter under his breath. He prepared to block the Big-Headed Fly's attack with his Cleaver.
As the Big-Headed Fly came charging at him, the sunlight above was suddenly blocked, plunging everything into darkness. However, Li Nan couldn't afford to worry about that; he saw several hooked tentacles beneath the Big-Headed Fly, diving down like an eagle pouncing on its prey. With that kind of force, even a slightly smaller steel pipe would likely snap!
Holding his knife in one hand, just as the Big-Headed Fly was about to land, Li Nan swung his blade horizontally, intending to give it a warning strike. Unexpectedly, at that moment, the descending Big-Headed Fly suddenly shifted its position and was already behind Li Nan!
"Damn it!" Li Nan cursed loudly and immediately bent down. He pulled out his Desert Eagle with his other hand and fired wildly behind him. Unfortunately, his movements were easily anticipated by the Big-Headed Fly, making it impossible for him to land an effective hit.
Just when Li Nan thought his shots wouldn't harm the Big-Headed Fly, the creature behind him suddenly let out a wail. A foul wind rushed out of its mouth along with a deafening roar!
Although Li Nan sensed something was off, he quickly turned around, abandoning his gun and swinging his Cleaver instead.
He saw the Big-Headed Fly with its mouth wide open and wings flapping vigorously. Below its abdomen, a gun barrel had emerged, leaking bodily fluids uncontrollably!
At that moment, Li Nan noticed a hole in the left wing of the Big-Headed Fly. As it flapped its wings, the hole grew larger and larger. Clearly, this issue with its wing affected its speed. Although it had anticipated Li Nan's shooting action, it ultimately couldn't dodge in time!
Unbeknownst to him, that hole in the Big-Headed Fly's wing was created by Lin Hai's earlier shot. Although Lin Hai hadn't killed it then, he had planted the seeds for the Big-Headed Fly's demise!
Li Nan saw an opportunity and was not one to back down easily. He leaped into the air, gripping his knife with both hands, channeling immense strength into the blade. With a swift motion, he struck down, capable of cleaving even a marble statue carved from Yunnan stone in half.
As Li Nan landed, the Big-Headed Fly, which had been shot in the abdomen, let out a wail before its head fell to the ground, rolling beside the large plant.
This strike from Li Nan even bent the edge of the Cleaver, but fortunately, the Big-Headed Fly was finally dealt with.
Li Nan chuckled bitterly, "Go ahead and scream. Your companions outside have already been turned to ashes by my fire!"
The body of the Big-Headed Fly fell to the ground with a thud, splattering into a puddle of mush. Suddenly, a sticky substance splattered onto Li Nan's face.
Li Nan ignored the strange substance on his face and turned to the large plant, saying sternly, "If you have any tricks left, hurry up and use them. I won't hold back!"
The foul stench in the botanical garden dissipated significantly with the death of the Big-Headed Fly. Clearly, this odor was emitted by the large plant to attract the Big-Headed Fly for its own protection. Unfortunately for it, it did not realize that this Big-Headed Fly and its companions were no match for Li Nan and his group!
(While writing this chapter, I suddenly felt a disconnect in my thoughts. Earlier in the High-Tech Park, Li Nan had already used his last bullet to ignite a beer Molotov cocktail; how could he still be shooting in this chapter? Regarding this point, I can only say I need to think it over; I should be able to provide a satisfactory explanation later!)
