The bullet whizzed by, but things did not go as smoothly as Fatty had imagined. The Long-Haired Rabbit suddenly leaped up several centimeters, avoiding a critical hit.
However, just as Fatty fired his gun, a dozen of his brothers followed closely behind, bullets raining down in rapid succession.
The Long-Haired Rabbit flapped its short front legs and landed swiftly. As the other bullets came flying in, the Long-Haired Rabbit twisted and turned, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Yet Li Nan noticed something amiss; the Long-Haired Rabbit's front legs were injured, and its speed had decreased. If they didn't take its life now, when would they?
In fact, Li Nan was able to react quickly to the Long-Haired Rabbit that had fallen behind Lin Hai not because of his eyes, but because of his ears. Although the Long-Haired Rabbit was fast enough to evade sight, any movement it made would create a gust of wind. Therefore, to deal with the Long-Haired Rabbit, one had to rely more on hearing.
The speed of the Long-Haired Rabbit created a particularly sharp sound of wind. Li Nan perked up his ears and immediately determined that the gust had retreated back into the Small Buildings.
Fatty looked around in confusion and asked Li Nan, "What now? Where did that Ghost go?"
At this moment, Li Nan disregarded the whereabouts of the Long-Haired Rabbit and instead asked, "Earlier you mentioned wanting to blow up those Small Buildings. Now that I’ve agreed, how do you plan to do it?"
Fatty raised his gun and laughed, "Brother Nan is just joking! I did have that idea, but we need explosives for that!"
Li Nan frowned. "It seems we really have to put in some effort to deal with that Long-Haired Rabbit!"
Hearing Li Nan's words, Fatty seemed to catch on and immediately asked, "Could it be that Brother Nan has a brilliant plan?"
Li Nan's expression was serious. "That Long-Haired Rabbit has already escaped back into the Small Buildings. Now is the perfect opportunity to catch it off guard!"
Fatty agreed, "Although we don't have explosives, we do have gasoline and fire! I think we can just burn down this Small Building; then it will all be over!"
Li Nan waved his hand. "If you set fire first, it will just escape out the back. With its speed, we won't have another chance to catch it!"
Fatty was puzzled, "Just now I saw that Long-Haired Rabbit seemed to be injured. If we don't press it hard at this moment, we might miss a great opportunity!"
Li Nan thought of the two long ears on top of the Long-Haired Rabbit's head and immediately said, "Brother Three, on the day of the cremation, was there a big drum? Bring it over to me now, and find some other things that can make noise. Although it may not necessarily be effective, it can at least disturb that Long-Haired Rabbit!"

The blood left on the wound was rolled into its mouth by its tongue. Suddenly, the Long-Haired Rabbit opened its eyes wide in anger. It was furious and let out a faint growl before poking its head out, fixing its gaze steadily below the Small Buildings. It was ready to attack; it wanted to bite off everyone's heads here!
Just as the Long-Haired Rabbit was peering out, several brothers behind Fatty had already brought over the big drum and gongs, including a speaker that was taller than a person and seemed to be professional-grade equipment.
Seeing that everything was ready, Fatty immediately shouted to Li Nan, "When do we start?"
Li Nan snapped his fingers and said, "Right now!"
Fatty adjusted his belly and held two drumsticks with his thick arms in a professional drummer's pose. He shouted, "Brothers, today we're going to give that Long-Haired Rabbit a professional-level music feast; let's see our skills!"
At that moment, Fatty swung his arms down powerfully. The short drumsticks in his hands moved with great force, and under his heavy strikes, the leather drumhead trembled uncontrollably, producing an earth-shattering sound.
The nearby gongs joined in without holding back, their sharp and clear sounds piercing through the air.
On top of the Small Buildings, the Long-Haired Rabbit suddenly heard a disturbance from below and looked quite flustered. Its long ears drooped down from their upright position, seemingly troubled by the noise.
It must be said that having large ears has its disadvantages, and this weakness of the Long-Haired Rabbit was keenly captured by Li Nan. The saying goes, "attack where the opponent is weak," and it was bound to be effective.
Behind Fatty, two brothers pulled over a wire from the Electric Machine's location in the camp, fiddling with it until they finally connected the large speaker. It had initially wanted to attack but ended up scurrying inside, tail tucked between its legs and covered in dirt, hoping to escape the deafening noise. However, contrary to its wishes, the auditory feast prepared by Li Nan penetrated strongly; even hiding inside the Small Buildings could not shield it!
Li Nan tore off some scraps of cloth from his body, crumpled them up, and stuffed them into his ears. He then looked up to see that the Long-Haired Rabbit had already burrowed inside. He exclaimed joyfully, "Keep going! Keep beating the drums and striking the gongs! I refuse to believe this tactic won't take it down!"
The high-powered speaker couldn't produce any beautiful music; it merely blasted out a cacophony of electrical noise. This crackling sound was highly penetrating and extremely disruptive to brainwaves, making it perfect for affecting the Long-Haired Rabbit.
Seeing that their plan was working, Fatty waved his arms even more enthusiastically, creating an earth-shattering commotion.
Inside the Small Buildings, the Long-Haired Rabbit tensed up, its scarlet eyes fixated on one wall. Its mouth opened wide as if its patience had reached its limit.
Its ears were no longer standing upright as before; they had drooped down. Yet even so, this did not lessen the interference caused by the noise!
As the saying goes, "A cornered dog will jump over a wall," and a desperate rabbit can bite too. The Long-Haired Rabbit was truly pushed to its limits; its eyes began to glaze over as it opened its large jaws and without hesitation slammed into a wall!
The sound of the Long-Haired Rabbit hitting the wall was hardly noticeable amidst the overwhelming noise outside. However, at that moment, Li Nan gestured outside of the Small Buildings: "Lin Hai, take Mo Xiaohui and those two women away first. Also remind everyone in the gym not to panic no matter what happens outside. I, Li Nan, vow to stand with the camp through thick and thin!"
Now that the Long-Haired Rabbit was trapped inside the Small Buildings, Li Nan had no fear of it breaking out. The most important thing now was to stabilize people's morale in the camp; as long as their spirits remained intact, there would always be hope!
Lin Hai positioned himself protectively beside Mo Xiaohui and Lingdang'er before signaling Fatty from afar. "Don't worry; your women are in my hands. I guarantee they'll be safe!"
Fatty couldn't help but grin while cursing under his breath: "As if I'm about to die or something—what bad luck!" Nevertheless, he wore a satisfied smile. At that moment, he fully understood why Mighty Bull made such sacrifices; if a similar situation arose now, he would also act without hesitation. What is one life compared to duty and responsibility? This small sacrifice was indeed worth it.
Fatty slammed his hands down forcefully and then asked Li Nan beside him, "When are we going to take action? Are we really going to let this Long-Haired Rabbit crash into a wall and die on its own?"
Li Nan replied irritably, "It can't be that easy. For now, let's use the noise to trap it inside the Small Buildings. I'm thinking, is there a way to deal with this Long-Haired Rabbit once and for all?"
Fatty's expression turned serious. "That Long-Haired Rabbit has already been disturbed by the noise to the point of no return. Its speed must be compromised. Why not take advantage of this moment and overwhelm it with sheer numbers? One person, one gun; we can surely take it down!"
Li Nan shook his head. "Let's wait a bit longer. I have a bad feeling about this."
Inside the Small Buildings, the Long-Haired Rabbit crashed into the wall, and the decorative tiles instantly fell apart. Blood appeared on its forehead!
After suddenly hitting its head, the Long-Haired Rabbit seemed dazed, its eyes clearer than before. It seemed that its method of regaining consciousness was quite effective!
The Long-Haired Rabbit swayed and suddenly spotted a large bed. Without thinking, it dove under the bed, its rear sticking out while its head was hidden inside, seemingly trying to escape the noise that was invading its mind!
Just as the Long-Haired Rabbit buried its head under the bed, a thunderous sound erupted outside, followed by a tremor that shook the entire Small Buildings as if an earthquake had occurred.
At that moment, Li Nan, who was outside the Small Buildings, suddenly sensed something was off and shouted, "What's going on?"
