"Yes!" The Imperial Guards responded and left.
I walked up to a massive crystal screen, which displayed the scene outside the palace.
The Demon Army surged like a tide, their sheer numbers sending chills down my spine.
The Demon Soldiers were clad in pitch-black armor, wielding sharp weapons, their faces twisted in rage, exuding a terrifying aura.
"Kill!"
With a thunderous roar, the Demon Army charged forward, countless Demon Soldiers swarming towards the palace walls like locusts.
"Boom!"
A loud crash echoed as the Demon Soldiers collided with the Energy Barrier surrounding the palace, creating ripples but failing to shake it even slightly.
"Hahaha, do you think this flimsy barrier can stop our demon race?" a Demon General laughed arrogantly, swinging a massive Battle Axe and striking it against the Energy Barrier.
"Crack!"
A fissure appeared on the Energy Barrier, but it quickly restored itself.
"What?!" The Demon General's expression changed; he hadn't expected the palace's defensive formation to be so sturdy.
"Come again!"
The Demon General, undeterred, swung his Battle Axe once more, attacking the Energy Barrier frantically. However, no matter how he struck, the Energy Barrier merely trembled slightly and remained unbroken.
"Damn it!"
The Demon General stopped, panting heavily. He realized that brute force alone could not break through the palace's defensive formation.
"Send the order down, bombard with the Magic Crystal Cannons!" the Demon General commanded.
"Yes!"
The Demon Soldiers immediately pushed up massive Magic Crystal Cannons. These cannons were entirely black, with dangerous light flickering at their muzzles, clearly indicating their extraordinary power.
"Fire!"
With the Demon General's command, the Magic Crystal Cannons let out a deafening roar as huge energy projectiles whistled out, striking the palace's Energy Barrier.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The sound of explosions was incessant, and the Energy Barrier trembled violently, with more and more cracks appearing on its surface, looking as if it would soon collapse.
"This is bad, the power of the Magic Crystal Cannons is too strong!" said the Imperial Guard Commander, his face pale.
"Your Majesty, stay here and don't move. I'll be right back," I said as I leaped off the city wall.
I soared down from the city wall, my toes lightly touching the battlements, my body flying toward the Demon Army like an arrow released from a bow.
“ Curator Lin, be careful!” The Imperial Guard Commander shouted from the city wall, his eyes filled with concern.
“Don't worry, I'm fine.” I turned back and smiled lightly at the Imperial Guard Commander.
My body traced a graceful arc in the air, landing steadily in front of the Demon Army.
The Demon Soldiers were taken aback by my sudden appearance, glancing at each other in confusion, unsure of who I was.
“Who are you to dare attack my Celestial Palace?” I asked coldly, my tone carrying a hint of authority.
The Demon Soldiers exchanged glances but did not answer my question.
“Hmph!” I snorted, waving my hands as an invisible Energy Barrier instantly appeared, protecting me within it.
“Boom!”
At that moment, a massive energy projectile flew down from the sky, striking my Energy Barrier.
“Boom!”
The energy projectile exploded, sending a tremendous shockwave that knocked me back, but I was unharmed; the Energy Barrier remained intact.
“What?!” The Demon General and his soldiers gaped in shock, disbelief filling their eyes as they looked at me with fear.
“This is impossible!” The Demon General roared, struggling to accept the reality before him.
“There is nothing impossible,” I replied calmly, a faint smirk on my face.
I stood up, brushed off the dust from my clothes, and looked at the Demon General again, speaking in a steady tone: “I advise you to give up; you cannot break through the palace's defensive formation.”
"Hahaha, what a joke!" the Demon General laughed wildly. "Do you really think you can stop the advance of our demon race?"
"Whether I can stop it or not, you'll find out if you try," I replied coldly, my tone laced with provocation.
As I spoke, I waved my hands again, unleashing waves of invisible energy that shot from my palms like piercing swords toward the Demon Army.
"Ah!"
"Ah!"
The Demon Soldiers screamed as they fell to the ground, unable to withstand my attacks.
"Boom!"
Another energy blast struck my Energy Barrier, yet I remained unscathed.
"Magic Crystal Cannon!" the Demon General ordered in frustration. "Blast him to pieces!"
"Boom boom boom!"
Several Magic Crystal Cannons fired simultaneously, launching massive energy blasts that whistled toward me.
I took a deep breath, channeling all my energy into my palm, then struck out forcefully.
"Boom!"
A tremendous wave of energy erupted from my palm, shattering the incoming energy blasts and sending the surrounding Demon Soldiers tumbling to the ground.
"This..." The Demon General stared at me in disbelief, unable to comprehend what he was seeing. Could this person before him truly be just a human?
"You can't possibly..." the Demon General murmured, his eyes filled with fear.
"Nothing is impossible," I said with a smile, my tone brimming with confidence.
I retracted my true energy and calmly said to the Demon General, "You all can leave. I'm in a good mood today, so I won't kill you."
"You... you can't!" the Demon General shouted angrily. Despite his fear, he still forced himself not to retreat.
"Do you really think you can stop me?" I replied coldly.
As I spoke, my figure transformed into a flash of lightning, instantly appearing in front of the Demon General and delivering a punch.
"Bang!"
The Demon General's body flew out like a kite with its string cut, crashing heavily to the ground and losing consciousness.
"The Demon General has been killed by me. Are you still not retreating?" I scanned the surrounding Demon Soldiers, my tone icy.
The Demon Soldiers exchanged glances; they all knew the Demon General had been defeated, but their hearts were filled with fear, and none dared to step forward.
"Get out of my way!" I commanded again.
