"The Barbarian Lands may have a small population, but there are many cultivators. Moreover, most of the cultivators there have been inspired by Man Qing, and even those from the Demon Cultivation frequently interact with Man Qing. If we were to engage in battle with the Barbarian Lands, it would likely result in mutual destruction!" Water Demon pondered for a moment before speaking. 0

"However, the Barbarians are unreasonable people. Trying to reason with them or explain things would probably be futile. Although there are many sects in the Cultivation Realm, most are cowardly individuals. There are very few sects with a true sense of justice, and we might find ourselves at a loss for words," Earth Spirit, the Peak Master of Earth Peak, expressed his concerns. 0

"During my travels, I once visited the Barbarian Lands. The people there are simple and respect one another. Although most of them are barbaric, they treat others well. The unreasonable ones are just a minority. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to talk reason with them," Azure Vine said slowly after a long silence. 0

Feeling uneasy, Qing stood up and paced back and forth, stroking his long beard as he murmured, "The closed-door disciple of Man Qing is a cultivator named Man Pillar. I've heard that he has remarkable skills and has reached the early stage of Fusion in just ten years. Although he is taciturn, he is very loyal and deeply favored by Man Qing. I think we cannot ignore the possibility of resolving this through force; what needs to come will eventually come." 0

After hearing everyone's opinions, Lingfeng felt immense guilt. He knew he had caused great trouble. Not only was Man Qing difficult to deal with, but his disciple would likely be even more troublesome. 0

Thus, Lingfeng resolutely stood up and declared, "This matter arose because of me, so I will resolve it! I will duel with Man Pillar; if I die, the enmity between the Demon Suppression Sect and the Barbarian Sect will be resolved!" Lingfeng did not consider what would happen if he won because he knew that with his mediocre skills, killing Man Pillar would be as difficult as climbing a mountain, while for Man Pillar to kill him would be as effortless as squashing an ant. 0

Everyone was taken aback and turned to look at Lingfeng, their eyes filled with newfound affirmation. 0

"Hahaha..." Fire Serpent laughed heartily—not in mockery but in appreciation. "The Demon Suppression Sect is not a faction that fears death. Brother, you are indeed righteous; however, the Demon Suppression Sect would not let a young one bear the blame alone. That Man Qing should have died long ago; you are also eliminating a threat for the Cultivation Realm. Moreover, you are acting to save your second senior brother; naturally, no one will blame you!" 0

Fire Serpent's words lifted Lingfeng's spirits; he no longer felt he had done anything wrong and turned his gaze to seek opinions from others. 0

Gold Wheel sat quietly in the second position on the left side, maintaining his usual reserved demeanor. 0

"Fourth junior brother, what do you think?" The sect leader paused and asked Gold Wheel. 0

Gold Wheel remained silent for a long time as if contemplating an emergency plan before finally saying, "Let Lingfeng duel with Man Pillar and establish a treaty that regardless of victory or defeat, all grievances will be resolved!" 0

Everyone exchanged glances. 0

The sect leader frowned thoughtfully and questioned, "If Man Qing dies here, how could Man Pillar be at our mercy? At that time, he will surely dictate the terms of the treaty." 0

Mu Qiu, the Peak Master of Mu Feng, could no longer contain himself and slammed his hand on the table boldly stating, "Let's do it this way! Enough with all this hesitation! When we reach the bridgehead, we will naturally find our way across; when soldiers come, we will block them; when water comes, we will cover it with earth—nothing will collapse! I see that this brother has good potential; let’s teach him the ultimate techniques of Five Peaks now so that at least we can give it a shot!" 0

Lingfeng was astonished by Mu Qiu's words. He had heard that Monkey Head Mu Qiu was an extraordinary beauty; this was indeed true. However, her bold demeanor starkly contrasted with her beautiful appearance. 0

"There's no other way!" With no better options, everyone reached a consensus. The sect leader concluded the meeting, "However, learning the ultimate techniques of the Five Peaks is not easy, especially since Lingfeng has not yet reached the Foundation Establishment stage. Even with a talented mind, it is unlikely that he can master them. Therefore, Lingfeng's daily cultivation will be handled by Azure Vine!" 0

Azure Vine nodded in agreement. 0

"Senior brother, we found out the result!" Qingzhi rushed in, holding a black dart stained with blood. "We discovered that this dart was made by Wisdom Link and Wisdom Rain, and it was picked up by Lingfeng by chance." 0

The sect leader took the dart and examined it closely. Although it was a dart, it wasn't very sharp. Given Lingfeng's current abilities, he couldn't have possibly killed Man Qing, so the sect leader questioned Lingfeng. 0

Realizing he could no longer hide anything, Lingfeng explained the changes in his body after consuming the Immortal Peach. His ability to kill Man Qing with this dart relied entirely on the True Qi within him. 0

The sect leader nodded and checked Lingfeng's pulse. He found that the surging energy within Lingfeng had completely merged with him, resembling an infant peacefully gathering within his body. 0

"Indeed, it's True Qi; it's simply incredible!" the sect leader exclaimed. 0

"So, what realm have I reached?" Lingfeng asked nervously. 0

"Based on the overwhelming momentum of the dart when it flew out, you are at least in the early stage of Foundation Establishment!" replied the sect leader. 0

Everyone rejoiced, rubbing their fists together as if a great battle was about to begin. 0

In the following days, Lingfeng memorized all the chapters of Cultivation Essentials and effortlessly broke through to the fifth and sixth layers with Azure Vine's help. By then, Lingfeng had completely memorized all of Cultivation Notes and achieved unprecedented improvements in his cultivation. 0

Lingfeng couldn't help but marvel at how extraordinary Celestial Fruit-level peaches were. Just an ordinary Immortal Peach allowed him to thrive effortlessly and gain True Qi while easily mastering all of Cultivation Notes. 0

At this point, Lingfeng had reached the mid-stage of Foundation Establishment and had begun another form of cultivation. 0

It had been exactly one month since Lingfeng left the academy, and he had grown quite a bit taller. 0

At this moment, Lingfeng was practicing Shattering Stone Fist with great vigor. He flipped and leaped around the courtyard effortlessly. What pleased him even more was that he could now jump directly onto rooftops without needing to move a ladder back and forth. 0

Just then, Lingfeng sensed a pair of eyes secretly watching him from behind. Although there was no malice intended, it felt sneaky and made him quite uncomfortable. 0

While practicing leg techniques, Lingfeng swept his left leg across the ground, and several leaves beneath him suddenly soared into the air like sharp flying knives, whizzing toward the wall. Soon after, a painful scream was heard. The cry was high-pitched and somewhat piercing; it was Monkey Head. 0

“Lingfeng, you’re trying to murder me!” Monkey Head grinned as he entered, rubbing his backside and complaining. 0

Lingfeng retracted his technique and compressed his True Qi into his Dantian, then smiled and said, “Who told you to sneak in through the wall instead of using the front door to watch me practice?” 0

Monkey Head scoffed dismissively. 0

“By the way, why did it take you so long to get here? Don’t you miss me?” Lingfeng asked. 0

Monkey Head shot a glare at Lingfeng and retorted, “Miss you? My sexual orientation is perfectly normal!” 0

Lingfeng burst into laughter, sitting on the flowerbed and stretching his muscles. 0

“Speaking of which,” Monkey Head also sat beside Lingfeng and said, “I heard you’ve reached the mid-stage of Foundation Establishment. Is that true?” 0

Lingfeng nodded without hiding his pride. 0

Monkey Head stared at Lingfeng in surprise, as if looking at a delicious peach, drooling with envy. 0

Seeing Monkey Head’s expression, Lingfeng exaggeratedly covered himself and leaned back, saying, “Is your sexual orientation really normal? Why are you looking at me like that?” 0

Only then did Monkey Head snap back to reality, feeling disheartened as he said, “You effortlessly reached mid-stage Foundation Establishment while I’m still just a low-level martial artist.” 0

Cultivators clearly distinguish levels in martial arts; those in the early stage of Foundation Establishment are considered low-level martial artists. Reaching the Foundation Establishment level makes one a mid-level martial artist, while reaching Spiritual Tranquility signifies a high-level martial artist. Once one reaches the Nascent Soul Stage, they are no longer considered a martial artist; that is when one truly becomes a cultivator. 0

Lingfeng secretly smiled wryly to himself, thinking that he had nearly lost his life to reach this level. However, he didn’t tell Monkey Head about eating the Immortal Peach, thinking that while it didn’t matter if Monkey Head was jealous of him, he feared their friendship might suffer because of it. 0

“By the way, I heard that once you reach Foundation Establishment, you can cast Spells. What Spells do you know now?” 0

Lingfeng chuckled lightly and self-deprecatingly replied, “What Spells? I can only use talismans. I can use talismans to subdue some low-level spirits and have started learning some divination techniques.” 0

After hearing Lingfeng's words, Monkey Head pondered for a moment, his eyes flickering as if some thought was struggling within him, hesitating and indecisive. 0

Lingfeng nudged Monkey Head and asked, "Hey, what are you thinking about?" 0

Monkey Head came to his senses and replied, "I was thinking that if I reach the Foundation Establishment stage, I will definitely be the first to challenge you to a duel. But by the time I reach Foundation Establishment, you will have advanced to another level, and then we will have many differences. I will surely lose to you!" 0

Upon hearing this, Lingfeng found it amusing. However, he felt fortunate not to be assigned to Five Peaks but instead to remain in the Main Hall, learning from the Sect Master and Azure Vine. 0

In comparison, the cultivation level of Five Peaks was inferior to that of the Main Hall, but only exceptionally talented individuals were qualified to stay in the Main Hall. Lingfeng considered himself lucky; he had managed to stay in the Main Hall through Azure Vine without undergoing any tests. 0

After exchanging pleasantries for a while, Monkey Head left. If he stayed any longer, he feared that Mu Qiu, that Old Hag, would punish him. It seemed that over time, people's true nature was revealed; previously, if Water Demon had allowed him to touch her once, he could have made a qualitative leap, but now she was just an Old Hag. 0

Once Monkey Head left, Lingfeng sat on the rooftop in meditation, basking in the warm sunlight. The sun was pleasantly warm, and as his physical condition improved, Lingfeng became increasingly greedy for sunlight. What used to be two hours had turned into an entire afternoon or even more. It felt as if sunlight was Lingfeng's spiritual nourishment; without it shining on him, he always felt uncomfortable. 0

Just as he was about to enter a deep state of meditation, Lingfeng suddenly heard shouts and sounds of fighting coming from below the mountain; it seemed quite intense. 0

Reluctantly opening his eyes, Lingfeng jumped onto a Centennial Tree to see what was happening. Although there was quite a distance between the Main Hall and the Auxiliary Temple, Lingfeng could tell immediately what was going on. He saw a group of disciples surrounding a Barbarian. The Barbarian appeared to be around seventeen or eighteen years old with a determined expression; although handsome, his eyes glinted with ferocity that sent chills down one's spine. 0

Despite being surrounded by many people, he showed no fear and instead walked step by step toward the Main Hall. Although the disciples shouted their dissatisfaction, none dared to approach him; they could only muster their courage and follow his pace—either advancing or retreating together with him. 0
