The scenery along the road was beautiful, with dense trees and lush vegetation.
Lingfeng had no mount and could only walk on foot. However, Lingfeng had a good way of comforting himself, thinking that walking could be a form of exercise.

Once the group left Bai Family Town, Lingfeng entered the town.
"Guest, would you like something to eat?" A middle-aged woman was selling food and called out to customers. Seeing Lingfeng approaching, she hurried over to attract him.
Lingfeng glanced inside; it was just a straw hut with flies buzzing around. Instantly losing his appetite, he decided not to go in. Instead, he took out a piece of silver from his pocket and quietly asked, "Aunt, may I ask what that group of people is doing?"
Seeing the silver, the middle-aged woman was naturally overjoyed and quickly tucked it away. Looking around to ensure no one was watching, she said, "Those are people from White Jade Escort Agency. In their last few missions, there was a fire that killed all their Hundred Venom Bees. So now they're heading back into the mountains!"
"The mountains? Which mountain?" Lingfeng asked.
"About three hundred miles from here is Luoling Mountain. There are all kinds of spirit beasts there. The Hundred Venom Bees live in that area," the middle-aged woman replied.

With this thought in mind, he bid farewell to the middle-aged woman and followed the team from White Phoenix Mountain.

Just as he was feeling bored, suddenly a guard beside Lingfeng fell silently to the ground.
Startled, Lingfeng thought that something sudden had happened to that person. Just as he was about to approach, a slight disturbance appeared in the wind around him.
Feeling alarmed, Lingfeng focused on sensing where the attacker was through the shifting wind.
Sure enough, moments later, a sharp object came flying towards Lingfeng's face. He sidestepped and lightly pinched that object between his right index and middle fingers for a closer look; it turned out to be an intricately designed dagger.
The dagger was exquisitely made; its hilt featured two plum blossoms, while its blade was engraved with branches of plum blossoms. The plum blossoms and their branches were seamlessly connected as one.
Lingfeng couldn't help but marvel at it and quickly stowed the dagger into Xuanji.
Then, as the wind fell silent, the person stopped in their tracks. They seemed surprised by Lingfeng, unsure of what to do next.
Lingfeng smiled lightly, gently helping the fallen person up and placing them beside a tree, making it look as if they were asleep. He casually pulled out the Plum Blossom Dart from the person's neck, cleaned it on their body, and stored it in Xuanji.
With a quick glance, he could already see the enemy's location in the darkness.
Lingfeng remained silent, moving behind a tree. Taking advantage of the others' lack of attention, he recited an Incantation and vanished from his original spot.
In fact, Lingfeng had used the Earth Escape Technique. Although the person's attack was fierce, their strength was lacking. Looking at the dagger's appearance, Lingfeng had already guessed that this person was likely a woman.

The woman remained hidden, staring at the spot where Lingfeng had disappeared, unaware that someone was now watching her.

The woman jolted slightly and quickly turned around while reaching for her dart pouch.
Lingfeng chuckled and flipped his palm to reveal a Plum Blossom Dart. Before she could reach her pouch, he had already cut through her ribbon and hidden the pouch away.
Only then did the woman turn fully around, gently adjusting her pants and glaring at Lingfeng with barely contained anger.
It was surprising to see that upon turning around, Lingfeng was taken aback.
The woman appeared to be only around fourteen or fifteen years old; she should still be considered a girl. With furrowed brows and a cherry-like mouth that seemed to hold exquisite pearls, her hair was simply tied up at the back of her head. Though dressed plainly, her beauty radiated like peach blossoms outside a wall, vibrant and captivating amidst spring's colors.
The girl was stunned to see Lingfeng, and with a delicate cry, she swiftly snatched the dart pouch from his hand. Her fair hand accidentally brushed against Lingfeng's, leaving a lingering fragrance.
Lingfeng felt as if he had been electrocuted, his whole body shivering. He then brought his hand to his nose and gently sniffed, lost in a daze as he said, "It smells so good!"
"Pervert, take this!" the girl scolded angrily, lightly waving her hand to draw a Plum Blossom Dart from the pouch and, in the blink of an eye, pressed it against Lingfeng's neck.
Lingfeng finally regained his senses, but the Plum Blossom Dart was already at his throat. He paused for a moment and then grinned, "May I ask for your name, miss?"
The girl hesitated, her face alternating between red and pale, stammering, "You pervert, don't you regret it even when you're about to die?"
"Pervert? Regret?" Lingfeng was baffled.
"Are you not that beast from Bai Lian?"
Lingfeng couldn't help but laugh; it seemed she mistook him for someone from the White Jade Escort Agency.
At that moment, a gong sounded suddenly from within the camp, and someone shouted, "There are assassins! There are assassins!" It turned out that the murder had been discovered.
The girl clearly had never done anything like this before; upon hearing the shout about assassins, she suddenly panicked.
Lingfeng found it amusing, but the girl pressed the Plum Blossom Dart against his neck again and exclaimed, "Since we've been discovered, I'll take you as a hostage!"
Lingfeng felt helpless and thought to himself, "How could I bear to send such a beauty into danger?" He gently twisted her hand, causing her to let out a delicate cry and turn around to press against Lingfeng's chest.
His heart raced wildly as he forgot about the danger and greedily inhaled the fragrance of the beautiful girl.
"What are you going to do?" she gasped in fear.
"Hehe!" Lingfeng grinned wickedly as he pulled the beauty with him and slipped underground.
"Ah, are you a monster?" The girl became even more flustered. As an ordinary person who rarely encountered cultivators, being taken underground left her utterly terrified.
"Monster? Do I look like a monster to you?"
"Then how can you burrow into the ground? Could it be that you are the Mouse Spirit?"
"Mouse Spirit?" Lingfeng chuckled, deliberately pouting as he asked the girl, "Do I look like the Mouse Spirit?"
The girl was taken aback for a moment before bursting into laughter.

"Herb Hall?" Lingfeng had never heard of that place but could vaguely guess it must be somewhere related to herbs. He asked, "I've never heard of Herb Hall, but I've heard of Hundred Herb Ointment!"
Mei covered her mouth and giggled, saying, "Hundred Herb Ointment is just a pot bottom ash that can cure all ailments, while Herb Hall can heal all sorts of difficult problems in the world!"
At this point, the two had walked quite far. Lingfeng lifted up and called out, bringing Mei to the surface.
