White Phoenix Mountain sat on the horse, a cloud of dust rising behind him.
After running for a while, White Phoenix Mountain clearly could not endure it any longer, but after all, he was a skilled martial artist. He shouted loudly and swiftly executed the Lightness Skill, circling around the Horse's head and firmly pulling on the horse's noseband. The Horse winced in pain and finally stopped.

"Everyone, take a break here and set up camp. We will move out again when the moon is high in the night sky!" White Phoenix Mountain instructed.

Everyone busied themselves, setting up tents and starting fires, simply waiting for nightfall.

The person said little and, after delivering the message, left on his own.
Lingfeng was puzzled but felt no fear. He thought to himself, although they were numerous and I cannot match them alone, they do not have Spell. Moreover, the ground here is made of soil; I just need to recite an Incantation to disappear without a trace. With this in mind, Lingfeng dismissed his concerns and walked into the tent of White Phoenix Mountain, pretending to be emotionless.
"Bounty Master, you called for me!" Lingfeng deliberately lowered his voice, sounding like an old man.
White Phoenix Mountain nodded and said, "This mountain is very dangerous; there are all kinds of Spirit Beasts and Monsters. I see that you have performed well and are very alert, so I want you by my side as a guard."
"Hehe, being your guard sounds great; let me serve you well this time!" Lingfeng thought viciously, but said aloud, "Thank you for the promotion, Bounty Master. I will definitely serve diligently!" He did not mention death because Lingfeng would never easily speak that word.
Upon hearing this, White Phoenix Mountain seemed quite satisfied. He raised his hand and clapped it twice, then someone entered from outside the tent.
"Take him to change clothes; he will be my guard from now on!" White Phoenix Mountain commanded authoritatively.
"Yes!" the person replied and stepped aside for Lingfeng, saying, "Please!"
Lingfeng did not return the courtesy and walked out directly. However, he was muttering in his heart, "If I change clothes and lose the mask, won't that expose me?" So he asked, "Brother, does the guard's uniform come with a mask?"
The person glanced at Lingfeng with a look of confusion in his eyes.

The person was taken aback and had no response.
Lingfeng let out a satisfied hum and swaggered out.
After becoming a guard for White Phoenix Mountain, Lingfeng finally understood the hardships of being a guard.
After dinner, White Phoenix Mountain found it still early and lay down on the bed to rest. However, before closing his eyes, he instructed, "While I rest, you must stay by my side and cannot leave the tent for even a moment. If anything happens, just wake me!"
"Yes!" Lingfeng replied. But inwardly he found it amusing; it seemed that White Phoenix Mountain was also someone who feared for his life.
As White Phoenix Mountain had already fallen asleep, Lingfeng came up with a mischievous idea. He tiptoed to the tent entrance and peeked outside. Aside from a few patrolling guards, everyone else was lying on the ground resting.

This time, they did not turn around immediately but instead slowly glanced sideways as if trying to sneak a peek.
"Alright, if you want to see, I'll let you see!" With that, he quickly raised his right hand, and the controlled Horse Urine suddenly stood up in the shape of a person.
The guards were momentarily stunned, pausing for a second before screaming in terror.
Although these individuals had become cold-blooded due to White Phoenix Mountain, witnessing such a sight filled them with fear. Moreover, as darkness descended and the Horse Urine appeared yellowish, it looked ghostly in the dim light.
"Ghost! It's haunted!" The camp erupted into chaos, with everyone in a state of panic.
Lingfeng covered his mouth and chuckled at the scene.
"What’s going on? Why is it so noisy outside?" Just as Lingfeng was laughing happily, he suddenly heard White Phoenix Mountain's voice.
Lingfeng quickly stopped laughing, lowered his head, and said, "T-t-there's a ghost outside!" His right hand continued to tremble.
"A ghost?" Upon hearing this, White Phoenix Mountain became more alert and hurriedly got dressed.
Just as he was about to head outside, Bai Lian rushed into the tent with a panicked expression, shouting, "Dad, there’s a ghost outside!"
"Quick, let’s go take a look!" With that, White Phoenix Mountain grabbed his sword and ran outside.
Although Lingfeng felt proud, he still played the role of a guard and knew his responsibilities, so he followed closely behind.
White Phoenix Mountain stood at a distance, his face looking quite grim.
At this moment, the "ghost," under Lingfeng's control, was swaying and moving around with exaggerated gestures.
"May I ask, which Vengeful Spirit are you? Why have you come to disturb my camp?" White Phoenix Mountain addressed Horse Urine.
Upon hearing White Phoenix Mountain's words, Lingfeng finally couldn't hold back any longer and burst out laughing.
