Lingfeng let out a breath and pondered for a moment. The surrounding darkness transformed into various scenes, entering the Mandala Demon Realm, learning the Mandala Demon Realm Spell, encountering Monkey Head, and persuading Monkey Head to use his power to benefit the beings of the three realms; it all seemed truly wonderful.
Lingfeng had not yet answered Evil Thoughts, and in fact, he had no intention of responding to Evil Thoughts' words. At that moment, he heard Azure Vine's voice, seemingly calling his name.

At this moment, Azure Vine was sitting cross-legged at the bedside, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. State Government and Tong Yu were anxiously watching Lingfeng and Azure Vine, not leaving their side for a moment.
Just now, Azure Vine had listened to Tong Yu explain about the Soul Capturing Technique and learned that Lingfeng's soul was imprisoned by Evil Thoughts. He decided to communicate mentally to send his thoughts into Lingfeng's mind.
Of course, this Spell posed no harm; it merely required Azure Vine to concentrate all his energy to enter Lingfeng's mind and search for the location of Lingfeng's soul.
Evil Thoughts had imprisoned Lingfeng's soul not to harm him but to convey this method to him. Azure Vine easily found Lingfeng's thoughts deep within his heart and broke Evil Thoughts' confinement, releasing Lingfeng.
Lingfeng and Azure Vine opened their eyes almost simultaneously and reflexively let out a gentle sigh as if they had been holding their breath for a long time.
"Lingfeng, how do you feel?" Without bothering to wipe away his sweat, Azure Vine leaned over gently and asked.
Lingfeng shook his head with a smile and said, "I'm fine!"
State Government and Tong Yu both smiled and clapped their hands, saying, "Finally, it's all good!"
"Uncle Yuan, what happened to you?" Lingfeng asked in confusion as he noticed that State Government's clothes were burned and his face was covered in black soot.
State Government had not had the chance to change clothes and had been keeping watch by Lingfeng and Azure Vine's bedside. He didn't expect that as soon as Lingfeng opened his eyes, he would be drawn in by State Government's appearance.
State Government pretended to be angry but couldn't help but chuckle, saying, "How dare you? If it weren't for you being caught off guard by the Soul-Devouring Cat earlier, and your Brother rushing to take you back to State Government, I wouldn't have ended up like this after being burned by Tao Tie!"
Lingfeng was taken aback, chuckled awkwardly, stuck out his tongue at State Government, and hurriedly asked, "What about Tao Tie now? Did you kill it?"
"Not yet!" State Government replied with a puzzled expression. "I was almost burned to death by it, but just as the flames touched me, Tao Tie suddenly disappeared."
"Disappeared?" Lingfeng looked at Azure Vine in confusion.
Azure Vine showed no reaction, only appearing somewhat serious.
At that moment, hurried footsteps were heard from outside, followed by someone entering Lingfeng's room. The person clasped their fists and said, "Sir, we have found Ling Shao Xia's friend. However, that person seems to have some misunderstanding about us and injured several guards at the gate before escaping from State Government!"
Upon hearing this, everyone seemed like ants on a hot pan. State Government pointed angrily at the person, his face pale but unable to say anything.
"If nothing unexpected happens, I believe Tao Tie has sensed the presence of Demon Lord Reincarnation while it was fighting with you!" Azure Vine urged Tong Yu and the soldiers out before turning back to State Government.
Lingfeng could feel the gravity of the situation; it seemed he needed to act quickly.
"No," State Government said after a moment of silence. "At least for now, Tao Tie hasn't found Demon Lord Reincarnation. I suspect it has only sensed Demon Lord Reincarnation's presence but hasn't located him yet. After all, he still carries the Night Cat Demon’s curse!"
Azure Vine nodded in agreement.
"Uncle Yuan, Brother, I..." Lingfeng looked at Azure Vine and State Government and called out softly.
The two of them turned their gazes towards Lingfeng, showing concern.
"Since Monkey Head has already escaped from the State Government, I want to find him as soon as possible!" Lingfeng said.
The State Government smiled and patted Lingfeng's shoulder, saying, "You don't need to worry about that. Just focus on resting. My forces are already spread across the Demon Subduing Continent, so finding him won't be a problem!"
Lingfeng knew that the State Government was trying to comfort him, but in reality, finding Monkey Head was not that simple. Otherwise, they would have found him long ago. Lingfeng hurried along the road while inquiring about Tao Tie. Tao Tie was a ferocious beast that brought disaster wherever it went. Since Tao Tie followed the trail of Monkey Head, Lingfeng knew that as long as he could track Tao Tie, he would be able to find Monkey Head.
On this journey, Lingfeng encountered a large group of disaster victims.
The victims looked haggard and sorrowful, as if they had suffered greatly.
"Aunt, may I ask where you are from?" Lingfeng gently asked a woman.
"We are residents from the border of the Demon Subduing Continent. A monster appeared there recently, breathing fire and looking terrifying. Our village and fields were destroyed, so we came here seeking refuge!" the woman replied.
Lingfeng nodded and looked at everyone; they seemed to have gone a long time without food. He called for everyone to gather around and then summoned some money from Xuanji to distribute among them before continuing on his way.
After walking tirelessly for over ten miles, Lingfeng finally reached the border of the State Government.
The next place bordering the Demon Subduing Continent is called Sumeru State, where the teachings of Buddhism are primarily practiced. A large river separates the two states, measuring thirty miles in width, but its length cannot be easily described.
This river is named Fuxu River, after both the Demon Subduing Continent and Sumeru State.
On the side of Fuxu River, there were once some villages. However, now there are no traces of the villages left, only the remnants of what has been burned.
Smoke still rises from the villages and fields, as if they have just experienced a great war.
Yet there is no sign of Tao Tie here; it seems to have already left.
