Elder Yang saw that Lingfeng was ready and quickly closed his eyes, turning his head to the side.
At that moment, Lingfeng swiftly reached into Elder Yang's sleeve and took out a piece of paper, which he then stored in Xuanji.
"Elder, it's all set. You can open your eyes now!" Lingfeng said.
Elder Yang opened his eyes, letting out a sigh of relief as if a great task had been accomplished. He then instructed, "This formation is the most peculiar and has the strongest lethality. According to the will of the Sun God, only you can learn this formation, so make sure no one else knows about it!"
"Rest assured, Elder. Once I master this formation, I will return it intact!" Lingfeng promised.
Elder Yang nodded in satisfaction, then turned away with a weary expression and waved his hand, saying, "After such a long time, my mission is complete. It's time for me to rest. You may go!"
"Are you really just sending us away like this?" Wanshitong complained as he followed Elder Yang.
Lingfeng quickly tugged at Wanshitong, smiling apologetically. He then slightly bowed to Elder Yang and asked, "May I ask, Elder, how can we break the formation in Red Forest?"
"The Fire Protection Formation is empowered by the previous elder. As long as you carry the Fire Protection Formation with you, the formation in Redwood Forest will not affect you!" Elder Yang replied lazily while sitting cross-legged facing the wall.
Lingfeng nodded and then deeply bowed to Elder Yang before pulling Wanshitong out of the cave.
Sure enough, with the Fire Protection Formation in hand, Lingfeng led Wanshitong through Redwood Forest without encountering any anomalies. Half an hour later, they had exited Redwood Forest.

Lingfeng crouched down to pick up the paper, gently stroking its surface. He was dazed for a moment, as if all his thoughts had been drawn away by this piece of paper.
"My brother, why don’t we go back and find that old guy? Let him hand over the real Fire Protection Formation and Fire Control Scripture!" Wanshitong suggested anxiously from the side.
