"Everyone sing along with me!" Su Xingchen shouted at the audience, pointing towards them. "Your phone lights are the most beautiful stage effect!"
The fans were inspired by his enthusiasm, quickly turning on their phone lights and waving their arms, transforming the gymnasium into a sea of stars.
With the help of the phone lights, Su Xingchen could see everything on stage clearly. He noticed that the control panel for the lift platform had been tampered with, and several load-bearing steel wires had been cut.
"Trying to frame me with a stage accident? How naive!" Su Xingchen sneered. He quickly removed a decorative metal pipe from the stage and forcefully wedged it into the gap of the lift platform, temporarily stabilizing the shaky stage.
"What's going on? It seems like the stage is about to collapse!"
"Look over there by the lift platform; it seems like someone is there!"
Panic began to spread through the crowd, with some frightened audience members already rushing towards the exits.
Su Xingchen knew he couldn't delay any longer; he had to uncover the mastermind behind this before the stage completely collapsed!
Su Xingchen scanned the audience, trying to find any suspicious signs among the crowd. However, all he saw on his fans' faces was excitement and enthusiasm, with no signs of panic or fear. This only confirmed his suspicion that the culprit was still lurking in the shadows, orchestrating everything.
"Xingchen, be careful!" Lin Xi's voice came through his earpiece, filled with urgency and concern.
Su Xingchen nodded slightly to indicate he understood. Taking a deep breath, he raised the microphone again and spoke loudly to the audience, "Everyone, please remain calm. This is just a minor incident; we have already notified the staff, and they will handle it shortly. Please maintain order and do not rush. I will stay with you until the very end!"
Su Xingchen's words were calm and powerful, carrying a reassuring strength that gradually quelled the commotion in the audience. The fans believed in him and were willing to follow his lead.
However, Su Xingchen knew deep down that this was merely a temporary measure, a way to buy time. He had to find a solution to the problem quickly, or the consequences would be dire.
"Security, where are you?" Lin Xi's voice grew increasingly frantic in his earpiece. "The stage can barely hold on!"
Su Xingchen looked up and saw that half of the steel cable supporting the lift platform had snapped, causing the entire stage to shake violently, on the verge of collapsing completely.
"Damn it!" Su Xingchen cursed under his breath, realizing he could no longer sit idly by. He scanned his surroundings for anything he could use.
Suddenly, his gaze landed on a fire hose next to the stage, and an idea struck him.
"Security, concentrate all the lights on the center of the stage!" Su Xingchen shouted into the earpiece while rushing towards the fire hose with lightning speed.
The lights in the center of the stage instantly converged into a beam of bright light, completely enveloping Su Xingchen's figure. The audience could only see a blurred outline and could not make out his specific actions.
With all his strength, Su Xingchen yanked down the fire hose, securing one end to the stage's support frame while gripping the other end tightly in his hand.
"Xingchen, what are you doing?" Lin Xi's voice was filled with confusion and anxiety.
Su Xingchen did not respond. He held his breath and fixed his gaze on the dark corner at the edge of the stage, where a shadow was stealthily trying to escape.
"It's you!" A cold smile crept across Su Xingchen's lips as he suddenly pulled on the fire hose and launched himself like an arrow towards that shadow.
"Ah!" A startled cry echoed as the shadow was tackled to the ground by Su Xingchen, the remote control slipping from their grasp.
As the stage lights returned to normal, the audience finally saw what had transpired.
Su Xingchen stood before a man in black, holding a remote control, while the man's face was etched with fear and disbelief.
It turned out that Su Xingchen had been well-prepared. Utilizing technological means, he had uncovered the assailant's plot and cleverly defused the crisis in the darkness.
"You... how could you..." The man in black struggled to rise but was pinned down by Su Xingchen's foot on his chest, unable to move.
"Did you think I would walk into your trap unprepared?" Su Xingchen coldly stared at the man, his eyes glinting with a chilling light. "Now tell me, who sent you to do this?"
The man in black gritted his teeth, refusing to speak.
"Not going to talk?" Su Xingchen sneered, bending down to whisper in the man's ear, "Do you really think I can't find out if you don't say anything?"
The man's face instantly turned pale as he looked at Su Xingchen in terror, as if he were staring at a demon from hell.
