In the midst of swirling yellow sand, a massive figure was quietly approaching Ye Tian, its long bony tail swishing back and forth, producing a rustling sound.
With a slight glance over his shoulder, Ye Tian's lips curled into a sharp arc.
Whoosh!
A fierce wind stirred up the Sound of Breaking Air. In an instant, he turned around and struck out with his palm. Light blue electric sparks surged wildly, bursting forth like a flash of brilliance in the dimness.
Just as Ye Tian unleashed this palm strike, two dark red glows resembling blood-red eyes suddenly illuminated the previously invisible darkness.
Roar!
A deep roar immediately echoed in his ears. Ye Tian frowned, and then he felt an overwhelming force crashing toward his head.
Bang!
The Bagua Thunder Palm met the attack. In the midst of a tremendous Explosion Sound, the surrounding air seemed to freeze momentarily. Ye Tian's arm went numb, and the sensation in his palm felt like striking against Xuan Steel.
His figure swiftly darted away; it was clear that this strike had not inflicted any damage on the Black Fiend. Thus, he prudently chose to retreat quickly beyond the monster's attack range.
Amidst the yellow dust rising to the sky, a shadow floated and moved gracefully before lightly touching down on the ground without making a sound.
With vigilant eyes scanning the surroundings, Ye Tian furrowed his brows tightly, even suppressing his breathing to an almost inaudible level.
Huff... huff...
The fierce wind continued to swirl, yet there was no sign of the enveloping dust dissipating.
His ears twitched slightly; Ye Tian seemed to sense some subtle movement approaching him from the southeast, about thirty feet away.
Rustle...
The speed was astonishing, and in the blink of an eye, the sound of some objects scraping against the sandy ground echoed. The next moment, a massive arm exuding a bloody aura swept through the gray mist, heading straight for Ye Tian.
"Bagua Xuan Yuan Shield!"
Ye Tian shouted loudly, and a burst of golden light surged between his arms. Suddenly, a golden Bagua Pattern appeared before him. He crossed one arm to block while the other assisted in reinforcing the defense. With a tremor throughout his body, he managed to withstand that powerful strike at the critical moment.
Bang!
A muffled sound rang out again, like iron striking wood. Ye Tian's figure was jolted by this immense force and was pushed sideways.
His toes carved a long mark in the sand, and with the help of the Yuqi Tayan Technique, Ye Tian did not lose his balance but was still knocked back quite a distance.
Splash...
Feeling a chill at his feet, Ye Tian looked down to see that he had been pushed back to the edge of the lake by this tremendous force.
He glanced around and roughly calculated the distance in his mind. That last strike had likely sent him flying over ten zhang.
"What incredible strength!" Ye Tian couldn't help but marvel again at the ferocity of the Black Fiend. Without Jujutsu and defensive martial arts, he truly didn't know what would have become of him if he had taken that hit head-on.
"Weak human, you should understand your consequences. Resisting is utterly meaningless," a deep, hoarse voice echoed from within the mist, filled with disdain.
"Wu Tianci! Do you really think my strength is only this much?" Ye Tian's dark eyes fixed intently on the direction from which the voice came, revealing a stubborn confidence within his gaze.
"Wahaha! Ridiculous, simply too ridiculous! You think you can oppose me?" That inhuman voice rang out again from the mist as a blood-red glow slowly illuminated.
"Weak human! What gives you such confidence? Bagua Thunder Palm? Or Bagua Seal Palm? Could it be that insignificant Eight-Dan Warrior Definition?" The mocking tone pierced through layers of flying sand, evoking disgust.
"Wu Tianci, you keep calling me a weak human; don't you find that ironic?" Ye Tian could no longer tolerate it. He wondered if Wu Tianci was using the Blood Exchange and Marrow Transformation Classic. If so, it could be somewhat excusable; after all, for those Evil Scriptures, if one's blood level wasn't high enough, they would enter a frenzied state resembling that of a beast upon activation.
But if not, then Wu Tianci was being overly arrogant. Transforming into a monster yet constantly referring to others as weak humans was indeed rather laughable.
"Wu Tianci, are you really proud of turning yourself into this grotesque form?" Ye Tian sneered.
"Hahaha, why shouldn't I be proud? I possess a body that you humans can never hope to attain. I have strength that only those who reach Martial Mastery can barely compare to. Why shouldn't I take pride in that?"
Ye Tian frowned slightly, a chilling thought suddenly emerging in his mind.
"Could it be that Wu Tianci has never been human?"
At this moment, Ye Tian thought to himself: Wu Tianci has never been human from the very beginning! That ordinary face is merely a disguise for walking among humans!
Thinking of this, a cold sweat broke out on Ye Tian's back. If he wasn't human, then what exactly was he... where did he come from... and was his goal really just to occupy the Cold Family so simply?
"No, at this critical moment, how can I waste time thinking about useless things?" Ye Tian shook his head vigorously, the confusion in his eyes transforming back into a fighting spirit.

The sound of sand being scraped once again echoed through the thick fog, and a vaguely blurred shadow was continuously approaching him.
"Come on!" Ye Tian shouted loudly, his figure soaring into the swirling dust.

A sharp sound of slicing through the air rang out as Ye Tian's lightning-fast figure left a long trail in the sand mist, shooting straight towards the shadow.
"Hahaha, it's foolish not to know your own limits; I love it when they come to me!" Black Fiend's blood-red eyes glinted with a cunning light. The exposed Adam's apple, devoid of flesh covering, even seemed to gulp slightly as if savoring the delicious meal about to be devoured.
Whoosh...
A rapid figure suddenly appeared before him. The faint blue light surged in Ye Tian's palm as the sound of Thunderstorm echoed in his ears alongside Thunderous Sound.
"Ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha!" The Black Fiend continued to laugh contemptuously, while its massive flesh-and-blood arm swept out. This sweep seemed effortless, yet it held tremendous power.
In his eyes, a glimmer of light suddenly erupted. Facing the sweeping giant arm, Ye Tian, who was still rushing through the air, unexpectedly bent down in an incredible manner, like a bow drawn tight, and shot forward with a thunderous force.
The stench of blood was carried by the fierce wind, threatening to penetrate Ye Tian's very core. During the evasive maneuver, his body brushed closely against the giant arm that lacked any skin.
At that moment, Ye Tian could even clearly see the exposed thin blood vessels on the flesh-and-blood giant arm, along with the purple-red muscles that were constantly contracting and stretching...
Disgusting. Ye Tian's first thought was one of nausea, but this feeling was immediately replaced by another sensation.
"Stay calm, or you'll lose!"
Ye Tian gritted his teeth and pointed his fingers. The Seal Technique changed rapidly, and in an instant, Nine Seals were completed.
"Break!"
Even before the Seal Technique could unleash its Thunderous Sound, another palm struck up with the force of rolling Thunder.

The sounds of the two strikes merged into one loud noise that felt as if it could shatter eardrums.
Flesh and blood flew everywhere, splattering Ye Tian from head to toe, filling the air with a nauseating stench of blood that hung heavily by the lakeside.
Ye Tian's figure tumbled several times in mid-air before landing safely. He then turned his gaze toward the Black Fiend, which should have been severely injured.
However, the expected scenario did not unfold; there was no furious roar or severed limbs. Instead, a strange and disdainful smile appeared at the corner of the Black Fiend's mouth.
"You underestimated the Black Fiend Incarnation a bit too much, didn't you?"
The Black Fiend spoke slowly as a dark red glow began to emanate from its blood-red eyes, flowing inward like blood but not quite blood.
Due to the absence of flesh, that strange blood-like glow was clearly visible to Ye Tianqing. The dark red light flowed towards the place where he had just struck, revealing a gruesome sight; although it was not severed, the area was charred, exposing the stark white bones beneath.
Hiss, hiss, hiss...
The dark red glow slowly flowed and gathered at the exposed charred bones. Accompanied by hissing sounds, the wound rapidly restored itself to its previous state before Ye Tian's incredulous gaze.
"Isn't this the power of immortality..." A tremendous wave surged within Ye Tianxin. The Black Fiend was so powerful; did he really need to continue fighting?
"Wait!" Ye Tian suddenly seemed to recall something, raising his head sharply to look at those black and blood-red eyes. The previous scenes flashed before him, and combined with the current situation...
"Those eyes! They are his lifeline!"
Realizing this, Ye Tian almost shouted in excitement. Although he could not withstand the Black Fiend's attack, it would be easy to strike back; as long as he could destroy its eyes, everything should come to an end.
Roar!
The Black Fiend seemed to sense Ye Tian's thoughts as it let out a furious roar and charged towards him. The immense force kicked up swirling yellow dust, and the flying sand whipped through the air like sharp hidden weapons capable of causing death. Its massive arms also formed a surrounding motion, attempting to crush Ye Tian in its grip.
