"You of the Wang family have truly put in a lot of effort for this bandit extermination plan. However, you should be careful; don't end up losing more than you gain," Cold Boyuan replied as if chatting casually, brushing off a bit of dust from his sleeve.

"Thank you for the praise, House Head Wang. I am truly delighted," Ye Tian said, following along, though a subtle smile crept onto his lowered face.
At the end of the line, Wang Tianba spoke again, saying, "Ye Tian, for this bandit extermination mission, our Wang family will have my second brother represent us. I hope you all can work together sincerely to wipe out the evil bandits and rid Spirit Martial Town of this menace!"
When Wang Tianba said this, his eyes sparkled with intensity. He did not look towards the location of the bandits but instead fixed his gaze firmly on the direction of the Cold Family.
Ye Tian understood his meaning well and chuckled inwardly, thinking, "Wang Tianba, you wish to eliminate the Cold Family in one fell swoop? Hmph, I fear you might lose both your lady and your soldiers."
"Sky Mad Second Master." Though he thought this in his heart, Ye Tian maintained a respectful demeanor and bowed to the arrogant Wang Tiankuang, greeting him with honorifics.
"Hmph, I thought you were someone of substance. Now it seems you're just a sycophant. Traveling with me truly tarnishes my reputation as Wang Tiankuang," Wang Tiankuang scoffed disdainfully. He was much more reckless than his elder brother and lived up to his name with his arrogance.
"Hmph, Sky Mad Second Master, please forgive me. I am also forced into this situation. Considering the strength of Black Wind Stronghold, if it weren't for House Head Wang's righteous pursuit of peace for Spirit Martial Town, I truly wouldn't want to provoke Black Wind Stronghold," Ye Tian said repeatedly while bowing, putting on a lackey's facade.
"Ugh... disgusting." Although he acted flawlessly, Ye Tian's heart was tumultuous at that moment; he nearly retched at the words coming from his own mouth.

Ye Tian was not far away and could vaguely hear their conversation. When Wang Tiankuang raised his voice again, he heard them clearly. However, he did not react; he simply stood quietly in place, pretending not to hear anything.
"Second Brother, listen to your elder brother, it's better to be cautious." Wang Tianba withdrew his gaze from Ye Tian and felt a hint of doubt after seeing Ye Tian's deliberately pretentious behavior.
"Elder Brother!" Wang Tiankuang stretched out his voice, placing his hand on the former's shoulder, and said helplessly, "Just think about it, if the Cold Family hadn't encountered these issues, would this kid act like this?"
"Well..." Wang Tianba pondered for a moment and then said somewhat uncertainly, "What you say is possible; perhaps he has changed because the Cold Family has declined."

Wang Tiankuang sneered, mounted the horse, and with a flick of his sleeve, the whip cracked loudly.
