The sudden appearance of Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti startled Ye Tian. Previously, the backlash from Golden Thunder had caused Ye Tianxin's pulse to be obstructed and his head to buzz. Having analyzed Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti's thoughts, Ye Tian quickly envisioned the consequences that their cooperation might bring him.
The partnership between the two is certainly beneficial. Even if it is a feigned alliance, Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti will become one of the targets of Cold King’s attacks, which will alleviate some pressure on Ye Tian in both offense and defense.

Ye Tian nodded without giving a definitive answer. There was no need to delve into the motives behind their alliance; as Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti said, it was enough to consider whether there were benefits.
"However, I am quite uneasy. The words carved on that tree trunk were your doing, right? They scared me half to death," Ye Tian probed. Although motives weren't crucial, understanding more about Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti's mindset could be beneficial.
"Young Master Ye, this isn't like you. Are you really holding a grudge over such a trivial matter?" Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti was also clever, leaving no room for error in his words.
Upon hearing this, Ye Tian smirked slightly and said, "I always thought the esteemed Thunderstorm had keen insight; I didn't expect you could misjudge someone. Let me be clear: I am indeed someone who holds grudges. If anyone offends me—heh, it will be to the death!"
The underlying message in Ye Tian's words was clear: "Keen insight" indirectly affirmed Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti's scheming nature, while "misjudging someone" served as a warning that his tricks wouldn't work on Ye Tian. Hearing the words of Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti, Ye Tian couldn't help but sneer. The former's response indicated that he still harbored a sense of caution.
"If we are to make a move, will you eliminate Wang Tianba first or Cold Wu?" Ye Tian asked again. Since the other party was intent on concealing information, he felt compelled to dig something out.
After asking, Ye Tian immediately observed Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti's expression, but he found nothing useful in the depths of his gaze.

The situation among the four was similar; they had nothing to say to each other. However, unlike Ye Tian and Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti, Wang Tianba and Cold Wu truly had no words to share. They were already at odds and even despised one another. Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti's sudden disappearance forced them to cooperate, yet there was nothing left to speculate between them; they both held the same thought: "Once we remove our obstacles, we will deal with you later."
Thus they waited for about three hours until the sky gradually brightened with a hint of light. The once silent Forest began to resonate with sounds—the roar of rolling water.
Upon hearing it, Ye Tian and Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti exchanged glances and calculated the time in their minds. After a brief estimation, they concluded that within half an hour at most, Divine Dragon's end would come.
The rolling water grew increasingly intense; enormous ripples appeared on the previously calm Lake Surface. In the center of the lake emerged a whirlpool approximately ten yards in diameter as water from all directions converged into it, causing the water level to drop rapidly.

As time passed, the water level of the lake rapidly dropped. In just the time it takes to burn a stick of incense, the once ten-mile-wide lake had shrunk to less than four miles of water area, with the rest completely dried up and devoid of any life.
Jingfeng Lei Kuan Ti frowned at Ye Tian, intending to inquire about the reason.
Ye Tian shook his head; the situation resembled that of the Divine Dragon sucking water from the lakebed, or...
"Not good! This cursed dragon is digging a hole to escape!" Wang Tianba's exclamation suddenly broke the calm, and he rushed out as if he had discovered something.
After Wang Tianba charged out, he continuously urged his Martial Origin Power towards the center of the lake. Cold Wu followed suit to assist but was clearly more cautious than Wang Tianba. As he attacked, he constantly scanned the surroundings, evidently on guard against Ye Xu and the other two who had yet to reveal themselves.

However, at this moment, the Divine Dragon's aura was waning, and its roars held no power; aside from boundless rage, there was nothing else terrifying about it.

Finally, under their relentless assault, the Divine Dragon exerted all its strength to soar into the sky. As it ascended, the lake water fell even faster. In an instant, the lake was completely dried up, revealing a massive pit in the spot where the whirlpool had been—a square area measuring fifty zhang deep.
