Seeing this, Xuanyuan Changfeng said, "What did they tell you?"
After hesitating for a moment, Ye Tian nodded. Regarding Cloudscar's act of killing his master, he believed there must be hidden reasons behind it, but he still couldn't bury it deep in his heart. He hoped to hear a reasonable explanation to soothe his mind. After all, for Cloudscar, Xuanyuan Changfeng, and Qin Fufeng—those he respected—he didn't want to leave any blemish.
"What they said is true, but you have to believe that we had our reasons for doing so," Xuanyuan Changfeng sighed. He couldn't say too much because it was a top secret of the Cloud Sea Sect; aside from Cloudscar, no one else was qualified to disclose it.

Xuanyuan Changfeng looked at Ye Tian and remained silent for a long time. After about the time it takes to brew a cup of tea, he sighed again and said, "Don't overthink it. Don't delay your cultivation here either. Once your name is cleared, the Test of the Pavilion will begin."

While Ye Tian was deep in thought, Short Man rolled his eyes and said, "Kid, from what that bastard Cloudscar said, it sounds like you might still get released."

"And then what? What are your plans after being released?" Withered Man asked.
Ye Tian sensed that these two seemed to have something they wanted to say. After glancing at them a few times, he confirmed this idea from their expressions.
"What do you think I should do once I'm released?" Ye Tian began to probe.
"Well, that's obvious—revenge! Don't you want to kill Xuanyuan Changfeng? The first thing you should do after getting out is to take him down, then go after that little bastard Qin Fufeng, and then kill that dog Peng Suoming..."
