The Four Great Masters arrived in response to the sound, clearly well-prepared. They positioned themselves at four corners, surrounding the Assassin and Cui Yingying, forming an impenetrable encirclement.
"Hand over the Luminous Pearl, and we might spare your lives!" one of the masters said in a deep, hoarse voice that sent chills down the spine.
Cui Yingying reached into her pocket, tightly gripping the Luminous Pearl, her gaze resolutely fixed on the Four Great Masters, a cold smile playing at the corners of her mouth.
"Dream on!"
With that, she stood back to back with the Assassin, ready to face the impending battle.

Cui Yingying tossed the Luminous Pearl into the air. As its light illuminated the surroundings, she could see the positions of the Four Great Masters clearly. They occupied each corner of the chamber, creating what seemed to be an unassailable encirclement.
"You guys who only know how to set up formations think you can trap me like this?" Cui Yingying sneered, her eyes glinting with cunning.
"Oh? Does Miss Cui have some clever trick up her sleeve?" The leading master scoffed, his tone dripping with disdain.
Cui Yingying ignored his taunts and turned to the Assassin beside her, whispering, "Hey, do you remember that question I asked you before? About how to connect four points with the shortest line segment?"
The Assassin paused for a moment before realizing and nodded slightly. "You mean... the shortest path problem?"
"That's right!" Cui Yingying snapped her fingers. "I just thought of a way to use the mathematical principles you taught me to break their formation!"
As she spoke, she drew a dagger from her waist and quickly began to carve on the floor of the chamber.
"What are you doing?" the Captain of the Guards couldn't help but ask, his tone filled with confusion.
"I'm drawing, you idiot!" Cui Yingying replied without looking up, her dagger moving swiftly in her hand. "Do you brutes even know what mathematics is?"
The Captain of the Guards was left speechless by her retort and could only close his mouth in frustration.
Before long, Cui Yingying had drawn a simple figure on the ground. The four points represented the positions of the Four Great Masters, and the lines connecting these points were segments calculated by her.
"This is... analytic geometry?" the Assassin murmured as he looked at the figure on the ground, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
"Exactly!" Cui Yingying smiled confidently, pointing at one of the line segments. "Look, this segment is the shortest path connecting those four! As long as we attack along this path, we can break their formation at the fastest speed!"
With that, she leaped forward, moving like a ghost along the direction indicated by the segment, her dagger transforming into streaks of cold light aimed directly at one of the masters' vital points.
The master clearly did not expect Cui Yingying to launch a sudden attack with such speed and an unusual trajectory. For a moment, he was caught off guard and could only barely defend himself.
At that moment, the Assassin also moved. He flashed through the crowd like a bolt of lightning, his sword transforming into sharp streams of sword energy that pressed toward another master.
"Killer and Geometric Swordsmanship!" the Captain of the Guards exclaimed in surprise, recognizing the sword technique used by the Assassin.
The swordsmanship of the Assassin was incredibly sharp, each strike deadly. Although the master fought with all his might to resist, he was still forced to retreat repeatedly, facing imminent danger.
Inside the palace, the clash of blades and cries of battle filled the air. Cui Yingying and the Assassin teamed up; one moved like a ghost, while the other wielded a fierce sword technique, truly managing to suppress the Four Great Masters.
The Emperor hid behind the dragon throne, watching this unbelievable scene unfold before him, pale and trembling all over.
At that moment, Cui Yingying suddenly shouted, "Stop!"
Her voice was not loud, but it carried an air of authority, and the fighting in the palace came to an abrupt halt.
"Enough." Cui Yingying sheathed her dagger and coldly looked at the Four Great Masters. "You are no match for us; continuing this fight is pointless."
The Four Great Masters exchanged glances, their eyes filled with shock and disbelief.
"Leave," Cui Yingying waved her hand, her tone leaving no room for argument. "Go back and tell your Emperor that today's events are merely a lesson for him. If he dares to covet the Luminous Pearl again, I will not let him off lightly!"
The Four Great Masters realized they had lost today and could only support each other as they left the palace in defeat.
Inside the palace, only Cui Yingying, the Assassin, and the trembling Emperor remained.
Cui Yingying approached the Emperor, looking down at him from her elevated position, a cold smile curling at her lips.
