Mario felt exhausted after the revelry with the women. The music and laughter in the palace gradually faded away, leaving Mario alone in the room. He lazily walked towards the luxurious bed and lay down heavily. Letting out a long yawn, he felt completely drained from the day's festivities and busyness.
A faint fragrance filled the room, and the warm light comforted his weariness. Mario closed his eyes, and his thoughts drifted away. In this moment, all the schemes, battles, and power games were irrelevant to him. Only tranquility and peace accompanied him. Before long, Mario drifted into a deep sleep, the profound drowsiness causing him to forget all his worries and pressures. His breathing gradually became steady, and he completely relaxed, immersed in a carefree dream.
In Mario's dream, time rewound to that fateful day when he and Luigi were still ordinary plumbers in the Brooklyn area of New York. On that day, they received an emergency call about a major plumbing issue in a building. In the dream, Mario and Luigi carried their toolbox and confidently headed to the scene, ready to start their repair work.
Entering the narrow basement, they quickly located the problematic pipe. However, as they attempted to fix it, an accident occurred. Finally, Mario found the opportunity. He maneuvered through Bowser's flames and leaped onto the dragon's back. Bowser tried to shake him off, but Mario stood firm. He drew a radiant sword from his waist, a weapon bestowed upon him by the dream, symbolizing victory and justice.
In the air, Mario raised the sword high, and with a roar, the blade emitted a dazzling light. With all his might, he aimed the tip of the sword directly at Bowser's heart. With a deafening sound, the sword pierced through Bowser's body, and the light erupted within him, completely annihilating Bowser's evil power.
As Bowser's massive body collapsed, Mario stood on top of it, raising his sword high. His figure appeared incredibly majestic in the dream. The surrounding flames and lava seemed to freeze at that moment, leaving only Mario's victorious figure, like a magnificent scene from an epic hero tale.
Mario lightly jumped down from Bowser's huge body, and with a hint of disdain in his smile, he lightly kicked the cooled scales of Bowser, saying, "Ha! Useless! Is that all?" He thought the battle was completely over, that Bowser would never rise again, and his heart was filled with the pride of a victor.
However, at this moment, the atmosphere suddenly became eerie. Kuba's massive body seemed to emit an unusual aura. Mario's smile gradually stiffened as his intuition told him that things were not so simple. Sure enough, Kuba's previously closed eyes slowly opened, but this time, they were no longer filled with anger and fighting spirit in red, but had turned into a pair of deep, inscrutable white eyes, seemingly hiding endless darkness and fear within.
This sudden change sent a chill up Mario's spine, as he instantly realized that the Kuba before him was not the opponent he had defeated countless times. Those white eyes seemed to contain a different kind of power, a power he had never seen before and could not comprehend.
Kuba's mouth slowly curved into a strange smile, a smile that transcended life and death, transcended all the rules of this world. His voice suddenly echoed in Mario's mind: "Did you really think you won, Mario? This is just the beginning..."
