Zhong Kui's Diary
The Sha Monk nodded, opened the package, and took out about ten bags. After looking at the text on the bags, he handed one to each of us, kept one for himself, and casually tossed the rest aside.
As we broke the packaging of the bags, the contents instantly inflated as if filled with air. Before long, a complete set of equipment appeared before us, including white coats, pants, masks, hats, work IDs, and even a human skin mask. The Sha Monk smiled and said, "This is the engineer's work ID. You will wear it on your chest; it has a number and name on it, so remember it well."
The two girls went into a separate compartment to change clothes. As for us men, it didn't matter; we took off our diving suits outside and put on the white coats with the human skin masks. After Hua Wuqiu and the others finished changing, they threw all their discarded items into the big hole we had come from. The White Dragon Horse locked the door from inside and hung a maintenance sign on it. Unless there was a targeted inspection, we shouldn't be discovered.
The mysterious woman finally took off her diving goggles. However, due to the human skin mask, what I saw was not her true face. The more I couldn't see her, the more I wanted to know; that's just how people are.
The Sha Monk was truly talented; this human skin mask was exceptionally lightweight and thin as a cicada's wing. It could even accurately reflect a person's facial expressions—truly exquisite craftsmanship.
After discussing for a while, everyone was preparing to leave when distant footsteps approached. From the sound, there were two people walking this way.
Tang Seng frowned and pointed to the compartment, indicating that we should hide inside. I quickly slipped into the middle compartment, followed closely by Hua Wuqiu. The mysterious woman hesitated for a moment but also squeezed into my compartment and closed the door behind her. With three people in such a small space, it was incredibly cramped. Fortunately, the compartment door opened outward; otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to close it.
To our surprise and confusion, the footsteps walked straight into the women's restroom. Wasn't this corner supposed to be for men only? How could someone enter the women's restroom?
If they were here to use the restroom and found all three compartments occupied, it would be suspicious.
Fortunately, these two did not come in to use the restroom; they completely ignored whether the compartment doors were ajar. Upon entering, we heard sounds of kissing and caressing—ah, so they were here for an affair.
Next came the sound of clothes rustling as they undressed, followed by a deep male voice saying, "A-Feng, your backside is still so exquisite."
A-Feng? Is that a woman's name? I must have misheard; it must be Ah Feng or something similar.
Then there was a loud slap sound as if that man had spanked Ah Feng's backside. She let out a soft moan of pleasure, and soon after, joyful sounds filled the air with rhythmic clapping.
Due to the small space in the compartment, we three were tightly pressed together—especially Hua Wuqiu—who was almost entirely against me. Hearing those sounds outside and feeling that familiar scent in my arms made me unable to resist; I lowered my head and kissed Hua Wuqiu—also known as Guo'er—deeply on her lips.
Hua Wuqiu seemed momentarily stunned, then her eyes filled with confusion, as if she was completely at a loss. Initially, she responded to me awkwardly, but as time went on, she became more familiar. I almost found the feeling that Guo'er had given me, and soon I was immersed in this unexpected surprise, feeling as if I were in a dream.
Just as I was lost in this intoxication, someone gently tapped my shoulder. A cold breath suddenly swept over my entire body, pulling me back from the dream. When I opened my eyes, it was the mysterious woman, glaring at me while pointing outside. It dawned on me that we were in enemy territory, and there were still two base staff members outside.
Oh, this mysterious woman seems to know some kind of technique, and her skills seem quite impressive. The coldness that shot through my body when she tapped my shoulder was quite remarkable.
Hua Wuqiu's gaze remained dazed as she leaned against my chest without speaking, but her hands tightly wrapped around my waist, drawing random patterns on my back.
At that moment, the sounds of gasping outside grew louder. Finally, a delicate voice rang out: "Ah! Brother Zeng, you're going to kill me!"
Although the voice was high-pitched, I could tell it belonged to a man. I couldn't believe it; both of these people outside were men! They were actually fooling around!
Damn it! Here I was hiding in the restroom listening to two guys fooling around! In an instant, I was furious and wanted to rush out and beat them up. Fooling around is one thing, but they shouldn't do it right in front of me!
Seeing this, the mysterious woman immediately spread her arms to block me, glaring at me. As I contemplated whether to shake her off, there suddenly came two loud thuds from outside. It sounded like fists hitting flesh, followed by two muffled groans and someone collapsing to the ground.
Hearing this sound, I gestured towards the mysterious woman. She looked equally astonished but eventually opened the door and stepped outside.
I patted Hua Wuqiu on the shoulder to signal her to let go. She quickly wrote down two characters behind my back before releasing her grip and smiling as she walked out.
The two characters Hua Wuqiu wrote looked somewhat like Zheng Nan? How could that be? How could Hua Wuqiu possibly know my name? Uh... it must have been a misunderstanding; what she wrote definitely wasn't Zheng Nan.
Stepping outside, I saw two disheveled men on the ground—one with a beard and the other with a pale face—both unconscious. Sima Sanguang stood nearby cursing: "Motherfucker! You dead faggots! Just wait until I beat you to death."
Then Tang Seng and others came out, all looking at Sima Sanguang in astonishment. Tang Seng's expression was particularly unpredictable; it was clear that things had escalated unexpectedly.
Perhaps realizing that what had happened was already done and discussing it further would be pointless, Tang Seng decisively ordered Sha Monk and White Dragon Horse to tie up the two men and throw them into the Underground River. Afterward, he said: "Fortunately it's early morning; no one will notice their disappearance for a while. But once work starts later, we definitely won't be able to keep this under wraps. Hmm... Sha Monk, when does work start here?"
"This depends on the position. Researchers do not have fixed working hours; they can come in whenever they want and take breaks whenever they want. If it's a security guard, they work in shifts of four hours, rotating with each other." Sha Monk frowned and said, "As for administrative staff, the working hours are from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon, with lunch counted separately!"
"Tsk tsk, that schedule sounds more like a civil servant's!" Sima Sanguang laughed.
"Shut up!" Tang Seng glared at Sima Sanguang. I couldn't help but speculate that if it weren't for Sima Sanguang's potential usefulness later, Tang Seng would definitely have beaten him up.
Sima Sanguang raised his eyebrows but quickly realized he was no match for Tang Seng. He rolled his eyes in frustration and stopped talking.
It's no wonder; due to Sima Sanguang's reckless actions, our time had become quite tight, and it would be a lie to say Tang Seng wasn't angry.
"What were those two just now?" Tang Seng snorted coldly and continued to ask Sha Monk.
"They should be administrative staff. Researchers wear white lab coats, while security guards are soldiers from the military wearing combat uniforms," Sha Monk analyzed.
"So we must complete this task before nine o'clock," Tang Seng glanced at the time. "It's currently four in the morning; we have five hours left. We shouldn't delay any longer; let's set off!"
Under Sha Monk's lead, we quickly exited the women's restroom and proceeded forward. Along the way, security guards were constantly coming and going. Most of them ignored us at first out of surprise but then realized it was nothing unusual. The human masks Sha Monk prepared for us were definitely modeled after people from the base, meaning there were indeed individuals within the base who looked like us.
As for why we could move around so openly, Sha Monk must have figured out their routines and knew they wouldn't be around at this hour. As for the security guards, they surely wouldn't be bored enough to ask why we were here at this time...
Alpha Beta was waiting for us at Gamma, leaving those guards stunned. I suspected he was just making things up; after all, the guards might not know any better.
After passing through several security checkpoints, we changed into several sets of masks and corresponding outfits—from engineers to cleaners to maintenance workers. In the end, the seven of us transformed into security uniforms.
We swaggered toward the final security checkpoint. Beyond this checkpoint was the warehouse storing the satellites, as Sha Monk informed us.
This checkpoint had four guards, all armed with real guns and ammunition. One of the guards was chubby, resembling Fatty a bit.
As we approached, one of the slightly older guards reached out to stop us with a serious expression: "Password, King Covers the Earth Tiger!"
I was still puzzled about what this meant when Sha Monk spoke up: "Chicken Stew with Mushrooms!"
Upon hearing this, I immediately Understood; it turned out they were using code words.
"Gwa Gwa Long Di Dong!"
"Stir-Fried Leeks with Scallions!"
"Daddy, can you sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?"
"Motherfucker, I'm your big tree!"
"L'Oreal Paris, your cousin deserves it!"
"Assam Milk Tea, meeting Godfather brings good vibes!"
"Yardie!"
"Just Dad!"
...
After exchanging more than ten phrases, I was left utterly dumbfounded. I had no idea who came up with these code words; were they out of their minds?
Just when we thought everything was settled after the code exchange, Old Guard suddenly shouted sternly: "Number 1547, name Qu Zhenshan."
Sha Monk looked at me and said, "Number 548, name Liu Tingguo!"
Old Guard nodded and then tilted his chin towards Tang Seng.
Tang Seng looked at Sha Monk in surprise, but Sha Monk just shrugged, indicating there was nothing to say. Left with no choice, Tang Seng could only say, "Number 560, name Li Zhijun."
Next, we each reported our numbers and names one by one.
"Number 56, name Chen Xiaolin."
"Number 566, name Wang Kai."
"Number 541, name Cao Long."
"Number 578, name Suying."
"Number 555, name Chang Dingkun."
After I stated my name, Fat Guard exclaimed and looked me over, saying, "You are Chang Dingkun?"
