Seeing that I was silent, the Fortune God seemed to understand my thoughts, sighed, and said nothing more. 0

"Do you all know about the Yin-Yang Ancient Coin and the Book of Life and Death?" I instinctively asked. 0

"Of course we know, especially about the Yin-Yang Ancient Coin. Collecting all seven Yin-Yang Ancient Coins allows one to absorb the energy of the Sun God. If this energy is obtained by the Judgment of Life and Death, it could potentially awaken his sealed memories, and that would be a huge problem," the Fortune God replied with a bitter smile. 0

A wave of confusion washed over me. Why was I worrying about these things? 0

"These matters are too distant; let's not dwell on them. Let me ask you something else: Are you sure my friends were all captured by the Cursed God?" I pondered for a moment before asking. 0

"Most likely, but it definitely wasn't me!" the Fortune God answered confidently. 0

"But the Cursed God left our world five hundred years ago." 0

"You're crazy; he's lying!" 0

"Are you sure?" 0

"Yes!" 0

"Alright, I'll trust you this once. I'm going to find trouble with the Cursed God now! If he has any new tricks up his sleeve, I'll come back to deal with you! If I come looking for you then, you'll have a hard time!" I put on a fierce expression and threatened him menacingly. 0

"If you're brave enough, don't call anyone else!" The Fortune God looked at me with disdain, fully aware of where my confidence in threatening him came from. 0

"This is called teamwork, let's not dwell on that. How do I get out of here now?" I looked around and asked, "If I have something urgent to contact you about, how can I reach you?" 0

"Just take a step to the right and you'll leave this place. If you need to contact me, dial this string of numbers on your phone, and Lucky Light will get in touch with you," Fortune God recited a long string of thirty-four digits. 0

"Do we need a code word when contacting? Like King Covers the Earth Tiger or something," I joked while saving the number. 0

"Whatever works. How about you say Two Oriole Sing in the Green Willows, and I'll respond with A Branch of Red Apricot Leaps Over the Wall," Fortune God paused for a moment before bursting into laughter. 0

After saving the number, I waved goodbye to Fortune God and was about to take a step to the right when I suddenly remembered something. I smiled and stepped to the left, but still found myself facing Azure White Clouds. Fortune God looked at me disdainfully and said, "Can't you tell left from right?" 0

In a fit of anger, I casually unleashed a Nine Divine Thunder towards Fortune God. Just as Fortune God shouted and raised a light arc to defend, I quickly stepped two paces to the right. In the blink of an eye, I was back on the rooftop of Sky Building. 0

When I reached the elevator on the 85th floor, while waiting for it, I called Lingfeng to ask the Lingfeng Gang to prepare a car for me. Tomorrow morning, I decided to make another trip to General Mountain. Then I called Ainran to update her on the situation; it had been two days already, and if I didn't call soon, she would probably come knocking with a knife. 0

As I hesitated whether to call Ai and the others for help, I thought about it and realized that my helpers Kong Xuan and Qingcheng were currently missing. There was no need to involve Ai and her group. As for Ji Wuyuan and the others, after hearing about Fortune God and the Prehistoric Demon, I really couldn't trust them. 0

One person is fine; after all, that Cursed God isn't too difficult to deal with. 0

When I went downstairs, Qiao Yi saw me coming down alone and was taken aback. "Hey, weren't there two people with you earlier? Where's your companion?" 0

I snorted, "Is there a rule that you can't work overnight?" 0

Qiao Yi scratched his head. "Not really." 0

"Then what's it to you? When she comes out is none of your business!" Frustrated by the disappearance of Qingcheng and the others, I snapped at him before walking away. 0

Returning home, the house was empty. On a note stuck to the fridge, there was a message from Guo'er: "It's no fun alone, went to Chaoyang City." 0

Naturally, going to Chaoyang City meant heading to Jin Zhenzhong's place. I didn't know when it started, but I found myself as busy as Jin Zhenzhong. Out of boredom, Guo'er could only go shopping and chat with her godmother Lin Xuan. 0

Just as I was feeling down, the phone rang with an unfamiliar number. 0

"Ghost Brother!" As soon as I answered, a sharp female voice came through. 0

I instinctively pulled the phone away from my ear a bit. "Who are you?" 0

"It's me, Lin!" The voice on the other end sounded urgent to the point of distortion, and I couldn't recognize who it was. 0

"Lin?" I paused for a moment, my first reaction was that she had dialed the wrong number, but since she called me Ghost Brother, it didn't seem like a mistake. I cleared my throat and said, "Could you slow down? Who are you? What’s going on?" 0

"Lin Lin! It's me, Lin Lin!" Hearing my question, the voice relaxed slightly. Yes, it really was Lin Lin's voice. 0

"What happened? Is it menstrual pain?" I asked somewhat displeased; it was already late at night, why call? 0

"Uh..." Lin Lin hesitated for a moment, seemingly not catching what I said. Then she called out recklessly, "Ghost Brother, if you have something to do, I can find you later. I'm in trouble right now." 0

"Okay, what’s the matter?" I took out a cigarette and lit it, maliciously guessing in my mind—Damn, is someone asking you for health treatment without paying? You want me to help you collect the debt? 0

"My sister Lin Fei is missing!" Lin Lin shouted from the other end. 0

I was instantly speechless and felt like grabbing Lin Lin by the hair and yelling at her—I'm not a police officer; why are you looking for me because your sister is missing? I cleared my throat and said, "Lin, I think you should report it to the police." 0

"Yes, but the police won't take the report until four o'clock!" Lin Lin's voice grew increasingly desperate. "My sister hasn't been home for less than ten hours." 0

I couldn't help but curse, "Damn! It's not even ten hours yet, how can you be sure your sister is missing? Maybe she's out having fun with her colleagues?" 0

"Impossible!" Lin Lin hissed. "No matter where she goes, she always calls me, at least sends me a message. But today... today she hasn't called me at all. I've tried calling her dozens of times, and she hasn't answered." 0

"Could she be at a colleague's gathering? You know how noisy it can be in a karaoke bar; she might not even hear your calls," I said with a bitter smile to comfort her. 0

"Impossible, impossible! Fei never goes to karaoke bars!" 0

"There's always a first time for everything." I sighed, thinking to myself that maybe her sister was just busy having fun with someone else; it's quite normal. 0

"Even so, she wouldn't ignore my calls!" Hearing my words, Lin Lin's voice weakened slightly. 0

Of course, if she were busy with someone else, how could she have time to answer your calls? But I couldn't say that out loud. I smiled and said, "How about this? I'll give you a number. If you find out your sister didn't go to work or if it's past four o'clock and you still haven't heard from her, call this number." 0

"Whose number is it?" Lin Lin asked suspiciously. 0

"Don't ask too many questions; just know it will help you." I gave her Lingfeng's number and added, "If he asks about you, just tell him my name." 0

"Alright, thank you, Ghost Brother." Lin Lin hesitated for a moment before hanging up. 0

The more frantic things became, the more everything seemed to rush in. I lit up two cigarettes and fell asleep on the couch in a daze. 0

I was awakened by the ringing of my phone. I picked it up to see it was Lingfeng. The car was already parked downstairs. I shook my head to clear my mind and briefly recounted last night's events to him. If Lin Fei really was missing, as long as Lingfeng spoke up, the efficiency of the officers downstairs would greatly improve. 0
Lingfeng said in surprise, "Oh, she really called me last night, around two o'clock." 0

"This person is crazy. How could she call you?" I was a bit annoyed. It's already the second time she called, and she wakes someone up in the middle of the night. So what if her sister went out and didn't come home? It's not a big deal. Does she think she's the only one with a life? Her wife is pregnant too. 0

"Who knows? She was rambling on, and I ended up turning off my phone," Lingfeng laughed. "I guess I'll get another call soon. No worries, I'll pay attention to it later. You go ahead and do your thing." 0

After hanging up, I casually washed up and went downstairs. The officer who delivered the car looked familiar; it was that officer from 110, the one I had seen once at the late-night food stall and once at KFC. 0

Now he was here to deliver the keys, so it seemed he had gained Lingfeng's trust. Subordinates who can help their leaders with personal matters are considered good subordinates; that's how things work in the officialdom. 0

After greeting him and taking the keys, I drove to a breakfast shop, parked the car, and ordered a bowl of wontons. While waiting for my wontons, I called Zeng Xian. Just seeing this officer reminded me of the incident where Jiang Chengguang's men attacked at KFC. I wondered if Zeng Xian had found any leads on Jiang Chengguang's whereabouts. 0

I wasn't bored; rather, Jiang Chengguang was lurking behind the scenes in this matter. What was he planning at Sky Building? Was he also looking for Fortune God? 0

Just as the phone rang once, I remembered it wasn't even eight in the morning yet; office workers hadn't even started their day. How could a Mafia member be up this early? Just as I was about to hang up, Zeng Xian answered. 0

"Ghost Brother!" Zeng Xian's voice came through, slightly tired. 0

"Hey, haven't you slept? You picked up the phone so quickly," I said in surprise. 0

"Ah." Zeng Xian yawned widely and smacked his lips a few times. "I've been staying up all night lately." 0

"Playing games?" 0

"Heh, not at all. I'm past that age," Zeng Xian chuckled. "I've been investigating that Jiang Chengguang matter." 0

"Oh, have you found any clues?" I asked eagerly. 0

"That guy is really cunning, leaving no traces at all. However, I found a suspicious shop in my jurisdiction that is likely connected to him. I've been monitoring it day and night, keeping an eye on everything from his residence to his phone. Haha, my brothers are putting on quite the show of 'listening in'!" Zeng Xian laughed. 0

"Any results?" I asked with a smile. 0

"Not yet." 0

After chatting for a bit longer, just as I was about to hang up, Zeng Xian suddenly said, "Ghost Brother, I can't talk right now. It seems I've made a discovery. I'll contact you later." 0

After hanging up, I had breakfast and then drove off. 0

I sped along the road and arrived at General Mountain. After getting out of the car, I continued on foot. By the time I reached Thunder Sound Temple, it was around two in the afternoon. I opened the mechanism and entered the underground chamber, only to find it completely empty. Cursed God was nowhere to be found. 0

"Cursed God, come out here!" I shouted. 0
