As I reached the entrance of the gym, a Middle-Aged Security Guard stopped us, saying, "Sorry, this place has been booked for a private event!" 0

I paused for a moment and asked, "Is the booking under the name Jin?" 0

The guard nodded, squinting at me. "Are you Mr. Zhong?" 0

"Yes!" I replied with a nod. 0

"Then please come in!" the guard said with a smile. 0

I took a couple of steps and turned back to ask, "Brother, didn't Boss Jin bring a lot of people with him?" 0

"Yes, there are about ten or so!" The guard turned and pointed at a large bus. "They came on that bus." Then his tone changed, filled with envy. "Rich people are impressive; they even take a big bus just to play badminton." 0

If I told you that Mr. Jin has been dead for two years, would you still be so envious? I cleared my throat and continued to ask, "Are there any elderly people among them?" 0

The Middle-Aged Security Guard thought for a moment. "Yes, there are indeed a few elderly people, but I can't quite remember if it's two or three; I didn't pay much attention." He then scratched his head somewhat awkwardly. "I was too busy noticing the beautiful women; there are quite a few among them." 0

Beautiful women? 0

Right, Guo'er, Qingcheng, An Ran, and Xinyan are all beauties, especially Ai, who is the most beautiful among them. 0

It seems that Jin Manyuan has indeed brought all the hostages over. 0

Turning around to push the door open, I left him with one last remark: "Brother, you’d better patrol outside in the parking lot later." 0

Without caring about the expression of the Middle-Aged Security Guard, I pushed the door open and entered. 0

The Badminton Hall was large, with three rows and four columns, totaling twelve badminton courts. In the center court stood about ten people. Upon closer inspection, I saw my parents, Guo Er and Qing Cheng, the Lingfeng Couple, the Fat Couple, Kong Xuan and His Wife, Tang the Elder and Tang Zian among them. However, Jin Manyuan stood arrogantly about seven or eight meters in front of them, coldly staring at me. 0

Upon seeing me, Guo Er and the others showed surprise in their eyes but did not move or speak. It seemed that Jin Manyuan had cast some kind of spell on them. 0

I walked to the center of the court with Song Xi and A Li, scanning everyone present. Here were my parents who raised me, two devoted lovers, and brothers who shared life and death. When I looked at them, they also looked back at me, their eyes filled with affection, love, and friendship that instantly overwhelmed me. 0

"Who are these two behind you?" Jin Manyuan frowned at the two women behind me, a hint of vigilance flashing in his eyes. 0

"My personal assistants," I replied casually. 0

"How is it? Are you feeling secure now?" Jin Manyuan turned his gaze back to me and sneered coldly. "I have something to attend to later, so I won't keep you for dinner. Please turn around and march out!" 0

I was about to respond when an unexpected change occurred in the hall. 0

Two beams of red and purple light rushed toward Jin Manyuan's chest. I could vaguely see a red lion at one end and a giant python at the other. 0

The lion roared as it leaped through the air while the python hissed as it twisted and turned, both moving like lightning with incredible speed. 0

What was going on with Song Xi and A Li? Why were they so eager to attack when Jin Manyuan still had hostages? 0

Jin Manyuan's expression changed drastically as he glanced at the Red Lion and Purple Python before looking back at the hostages behind him. Finally, he gritted his teeth and shouted angrily as two golden giant hammers appeared in his hands, smashing toward the heads of the Red Lion and Purple Python. 0

"What do you want to do?" I finally shouted out loud. 0

"Enough with the nonsense," Song Xi snorted coldly. "Hurry up and take action; we can't hold on for much longer." 0

Although Song Xi and A Li acted impulsively without considering the safety of the hostages, it was unavoidable; this was the only way to deal with Jin Manyuan. In a critical moment, he would prioritize his own safety above all else. If it were me, even if I were completely confident in killing Jin Manyuan on the spot, I would still hesitate due to the hostages. 0

I cursed under my breath and conjured a massive gray Wind Blade, striking down towards Jin Manyuan's head while shouting, "You all hurry and rescue the hostages; I'll handle things here." 0

It seemed that Song Xi and A Li did not hear my words, focusing solely on controlling their Red Lion and Purple Python to continuously attack Jin Manyuan. 0

Under the assault of the Red Lion, Purple Python, and Wind Blade, Jin Manyuan was momentarily flustered, swinging his massive hammer up and down to block our attacks, grunting without even having time to speak. 0

Each clash of magic produced a thunderous sound, and with each roar, bursts of Starburst erupted—golden, red, purple, or gray—creating a spectacle like fireworks blooming in the sky. 0

"Did you hear me or not?" I shouted loudly as the Wind Blade sliced horizontally towards Jin Manyuan's waist. 0

Jin Manyuan swung his hammer with a loud clang, causing the Wind Blade to dissipate into thin air, while his hammer also vanished into an illusion. 0

"We're helping you!" A Li exclaimed, gesturing as the purple giant python twisted in mid-air at an incredible angle before opening its massive jaws to bite at Jin Manyuan's neck. 0

Jin Manyuan grunted; with another swing of his hammer, he struck the purple giant python's head directly. With a resounding crash, both the Purple Python and the hammer turned into nothingness. 0

"Charge!" Song Xi commanded sharply as the red lion lunged at Jin Manyuan, its mouth wide open and claws sharp, seemingly intent on tearing him apart. 0

"Get back!" Jin Manyuan roared. Without time to conjure a copper hammer, he spat out a golden Bagua Rune from his mouth. The Bagua Rune expanded in the wind, quickly growing to the size of a tabletop and crashing towards the red lion. With a thunderous sound, both the Red Lion and Bagua Rune shattered into countless golden and red fragments that soon vanished into thin air. 0

At that moment, I had already conjured a massive Silver Chainsaw. With a buzzing sound, the Chainsaw glimmered with a chilling white light as it rapidly spun towards Jin Manyuan's head. 0

Song Xi and A Li also summoned other divine beasts; Song Xi's magic transformed into an Azure Rhino with three sharp horns, while A Li conjured a black bear. This black bear stood about three meters tall, but its paws were as large as a tabletop—being struck by such a paw would make survival nearly impossible. 0

My Chainsaw hovered above Jin Manyuan's head, the Azure Rhino stood before him, and the black bear appeared behind him. All three attacked simultaneously with full force amidst an unending cacophony of roars and howls in the air. 0

Jin Manyuan turned pale, raising his fingers in front of his chest, gritting his teeth as he spat out a spray of blood mist. Amidst the swirling blood mist, a blood-colored Dust Whisk suddenly took shape before him. 0

As my Chainsaw descended upon him, Jin Manyuan swung the Dust Whisk, striking the Chainsaw. Dozens of golden runes shot out from the Dust Whisk, dancing on my Chainsaw like they were at a party, and after letting out a piercing scream, my Chainsaw abruptly fell silent. 0

What the hell is this rhythm? 0

Grinding my teeth, I channeled my magic to restart the Chainsaw. 0

Before I could launch another attack, Jin Manyuan had already retracted the Dust Whisk and swept it toward the Azure Rhino in front of him. 0

Crack! 0

The blue rhino charged at Jin Manyuan, its three sharp horns less than a foot away from his body. But just that tiny bit was enough; Jin Manyuan's Dust Whisk struck the Azure Rhino, which instantly transformed into a burst of Starburst. 0

At that moment, the massive paw of the black bear was less than a foot from Jin Manyuan's head. After striking the Azure Rhino, Jin Manyuan swung the Dust Whisk backward. 0

Crack! 0

Perhaps because the Dust Whisk had already clashed with my Chainsaw and Song Xi's Azure Rhino twice, this time both the black bear and the Dust Whisk simultaneously transformed into bursts of Starburst, disappearing into thin air. 0

I let out a shriek as the sharp, piercing sound of chains whirled around me. The silver-white Chainsaw traced an arc through the air and slashed diagonally toward Jin Manyuan's shoulder. 0

I'm going to saw you in half! 0

Caught off guard and unable to conjure a new weapon in time, Jin Manyuan shouted angrily and crouched low. A golden Barrier suddenly appeared around him, enveloping him in a hemispherical shield adorned with various large Bagua Talismans, swirling and fluttering around. 0

When my Chainsaw made contact with the Golden Barrier, the Bagua Talismans immediately surged forward. Each golden talisman collided fiercely with the Chainsaw. With each impact, a Bagua Rune shattered into a burst of Starburst, and with each collision, my Chainsaw lost length rapidly—from over five meters to just over one meter. Yet, there was no decrease in the number of runes on the Golden Barrier. For every one that disappeared, a new one generated on the outer wall of the barrier. 0

As I saw the Chainsaw getting closer, I quickly unleashed a Wind Element Electric Drill and drilled into the golden Barrier. Just as the Chainsaw dissipated, I conjured a large Fire Element Butcher's Knife and began stabbing wildly at the Golden Barrier. 0

"Can’t cut you down? I'll drill you to death! If I can't drill you, I'll stab you to death!" 0

Song Xi and A Li also summoned a dragon and a tiger to assist. In an instant, electric sparks lit up the sky, and various colors of light danced in the air like brilliant fireworks. 0

However, Jin Manyuan's Barrier was incredibly formidable. No matter how we attacked, that golden Barrier remained standing, while the Bagua Talismans above continuously flowed down like a waterfall, displaying various Bagua patterns. 0

Seeing no other option, I shouted at A Li and Song Xi, "You two hurry and save the hostage!" 0

"Save a hostage? If we work together to take him down, won't everything be resolved?" A Li retorted angrily. 0

"Shut up!" I snapped back furiously. "Just look at Jin Manyuan! Does he look like he's about to be defeated? Once your Attack Blessing expires, you won't even be able to save anyone." 0

A Li was about to respond when Song Xi lightly coughed. A Li turned to look at Song Xi, and they exchanged a glance before immediately backing off. 0
