Nangong Yu recognized Chief Liu's voice and hurried towards the garden.
Upon arriving at the garden, Nangong Yu saw that everything was covered in ice sculptures; most of the flowers, plants, and trees had turned into beautiful ice carvings. However, she had no time to admire them. Her eyes immediately caught sight of her father and Chief Liu running desperately, sometimes flying up and sometimes landing. Their clothes were covered in ice as well, and Nangong Yu quickly approached them.
At that moment, she finally saw the magical beast. It was only the size of a palm, entirely light blue, with a pair of black horns on its head. It chased after them while spewing Ice Flowers.
Nangong Yu rushed between them to block the beast. Seeing this, Nangong Mansion Master exclaimed urgently, "Yuer, get away! This beast is too much for both me and your Uncle Liu to handle."
At that moment, Nangong Yu realized she had acted impulsively, but the beast had already launched several Ice Flowers towards her.
Seeing those Ice Flowers heading for his only daughter, Nangong Wuqing could no longer think about escaping. He dashed toward Nangong Yu just in time to push her aside before the Ice Flowers struck. He finally breathed a sigh of relief as he focused entirely on defending against the beast's attack.
Nangong Wuqing slammed his palms on the ground, causing the grass beneath him to grow rapidly until it reached two meters high and as thick as a bowl before stopping.
However, this did not prevent the attack from the Ice Flowers; the plants transformed into ice sculptures in an instant. Snowflakes then began to fall toward Nangong Wuqing from those ice sculptures. Not daring to be careless, he prepared to counterattack again.
Just then, the Ice Flowers suddenly stopped and fell to the ground. Nangong Wuqing felt puzzled and quickly checked for the beast's aura.
Upon investigation, Nangong Wuqing discovered that the beast was heading toward Huo Feng's courtyard. He hurriedly followed in that direction. Seeing Nangong Wuqing rushing toward the courtyard, Nangong Yu and Chief Liu quickly followed suit.
When they entered Huo Feng's room, they were shocked by what they saw. Huo Feng was enveloped in a layer of golden light, while the magical beast stood on his chest.
However, it seemed that neither of them intended to continue fighting; instead, they were both focused on Huo Feng. Suddenly, large beads of sweat began to drip down Huo Feng's face as his body turned bright red and then became dry and charred.
After a while, his skin turned incredibly pale again, looking even better than Nangong Yu's.
This cycle continued until nightfall when Huo Feng finally stabilized in his pale form. The golden light surrounding him dimmed significantly.
At this moment, Nangong Wuqing whispered, "Who exactly is Huo Feng? It's incredible; he must be undergoing some kind of transformation."
"Lord Mo, there are too many strange things about Huo Feng, and this magical beast seems to care for him a lot despite its strength. Should we really keep Huo Feng here?" Chief Liu suddenly communicated.
"In that case, we should not let him go. The more hidden cards he has, the more we need to maintain a good relationship with him," Nangong Wuqing replied sternly through communication.
At that moment, a woman’s voice emerged from within Huo Feng, saying, "Child, I have already helped you merge the Blood of the Earth with your human blood. From now on, I can no longer assist you; after all, I am merely a remnant of Vital Energy left in you. You will have to rely on yourself from now on."
"I initially hesitated and wanted to stay longer to help you with the merging, but after seeing that Fellow, I realized I could not wait any longer. You must be aware of everything around you; you are unique. Remember, you must strive to survive."
As the woman's figure slowly began to fade, she looked at Huo Feng gently, tears streaming down her face.

The two acted swiftly according to Nangong Wuqing's instructions.
Outside the Holy City, in a grove of trees, Huo Feng sat cross-legged. With a thought, Huo Feng felt his body slowly expanding. When he realized his body had grown twice its original size, he looked down to see golden scales covering him and a golden tail behind him. He stood there in shock; while he had heard Ruo Xi describe such changes before, witnessing it firsthand left him speechless.
Not far away, the magical beast that had been restlessly wandering around also stared at Huo Feng in astonishment, its eyes shifting continuously.
After a long while, Huo Feng finally released his transformation and thought to himself, "Since I can't figure it out, there's no need to think about it. I'll just make use of what I have."
After transforming into human form, Huo Feng felt more accustomed to it. Although he could sense a powerful force in his other form, he had lived in human form for so long.
Just as Huo Feng was feeling bored and unsure of what to do, a series of messages suddenly flooded his mind.
"Meteoric Steps" allows one to cover a hundred miles in a single step.
"Star Domain Annihilation" is a combat technique in the Earth Vein Realm. As one’s level in the Earth Vein Realm increases, the attack becomes stronger, but there will be no further enhancements after reaching the Earth Vein Realm.
