At this moment, Long You realized that Long Xiang had fully unleashed her power, and he was no match for her strike. However, he had no choice but to intervene and block her. He believed that his bond with her, his long-time companion, was far deeper than that with the hybrid son he had never met. He intended to use this connection to buy some time; as long as the situation outside was resolved and Huo Feng was completely dead, she would be left with no options.
With a loud roar, Long You spread his wings, mirroring Long Xiang's actions. However, the golden Origin Force radiating from him was noticeably weaker. At that moment, the scales on his dragon tail shimmered with golden light, much brighter than in other areas. Suddenly, he appeared right in front of Long Xiang, and the glowing scales on his tail swung rapidly toward her.
Long Xiang had already seen through Long You's movements. Her claws glimmered with golden light, appearing sharper and giving off an indomitable aura. As Long You's tail swung toward her, she swiftly reached out with her claws to grab it.
At that moment, a change occurred on Long You's tail. Each scale began to emit Origin Force toward the adjacent scales, connecting all the gaps between them and making it appear incredibly smooth.
Yet Long Xiang remained unfazed by these changes; she continued her attack without hesitation. With a thunderous sound, her massive claws grasped the middle of Long You's tail. She then tightly clamped down on it with her right arm under her armpit, not budging an inch.
However, Long You's tail continued to slide outward, seemingly beyond Long Xiang's grasp. But in an instant, Long Xiang's claws pierced through the golden Origin Force on Long You's tail, sinking deep into the gaps between his scales and firmly securing his tail.
Long You immediately sensed trouble. He exerted force on his tail, using the strength from Long Xiang's grip to quickly flip his upper body around while raising his claws to strike at her.
Seeing the massive claws descending from above, Long Xiang paid no mind. As her claws sank into the gaps of Long You's tail scales, she exerted force and swept horizontally, instantly shattering Long You's intentions.
At this point, Long You lost control of his body and began to spin in the air due to Long Xiang's strength and movement.
As Long Xiang spun faster and faster, Long You found it increasingly difficult to control himself. Just a few breaths later, she abruptly halted her rotation and forcefully swung her arm upward toward the cave ceiling. Long You was thrown upward and crashed against the wall of the cave.
With a loud crash, Long You's body smashed through the wall and flew out of the dungeon. Inside the dungeon, debris flew everywhere as dust swirled; large chunks of black meteorite rock continued to fall from above. However, at that moment, Long Xiang paid no attention to any of this; she soared into the air and flew out through the massive gap created by Long You's exit.
Once outside the dungeon, Long Xiang ignored where Long You was and headed straight for a nearby crowd because her child was in danger there.
What puzzled Long Xiang was that after such a loud commotion in the dungeon when she broke free, everyone should have been staring at Huo Feng in shock. Yet they seemed completely oblivious to her full-force charge toward them.
Nevertheless, focused solely on Huo Feng’s safety, Long Xiang did not dwell on this and continued to descend heavily toward the center of the dragon group.
As she descended further into the crowd of dragons, she spotted Long You among them; however, he had his head lowered like all the other dragons. In the center of the group stood a young boy who bore a massive white dragon-shaped phantom around him.
Seeing this scene, Long Xiang's heart felt as if it had been struck hard by something. Tears fell from her enormous dragon eyes as memories of Huo Feng's birth flooded back to her mind. However, she forgot that directly below her was the young boy. When she realized this, she was only a hair's breadth away from Huo Feng and immediately panicked, desperately trying to move aside.
But upon suddenly seeing the child she thought she would never see again, Long Xiang's heart was already in turmoil. In her panic, she realized she could no longer move away and cried out nervously, "Child..."
At that moment, Huo Feng looked up at Long Xiang with a calm expression. He then extended his right hand towards her in a lifting gesture, accompanied by a composed smile.
As Huo Feng raised his hand, a powerful Milky White Origin Force rapidly emanated from it. This Origin Force instantly spread out, forming a bowl shape that effortlessly caught Long Xiang. Long Xiang looked at the Milky White Origin Force in disbelief; falling into it felt like sinking into cotton, providing a very comfortable and familiar sensation.
Huo Feng did not pay much attention to Long Xiang but placed her in front of Dragon Emperor Long You. He then looked seriously at Long You and the others and said, "I have always been eager to see what the descendants of Vankun would be like. I didn't expect them to be so weak, bullied by humans to this extent, and now you are still here oppressing the weak—this weak one who happens to possess Dragon Blood."
Upon hearing Huo Feng's words, the other dragons, except for Long Xiang, lowered their heads even further. Long Xiang stared intently at Huo Feng and noticed that the aura emanating from him was completely different from that of any Golden Wyvern or any other dragon she knew. This made her begin to doubt whether he was truly her child, yet his unique dragon aura gave her an irresistible sense of belonging.
"What’s wrong? Are you too afraid to speak?" Huo Feng seemed somewhat annoyed by their reaction.
At this moment, Long Xiang looked at Huo Feng and then turned to Long You, shouting excitedly, "Father, where is my child? What have you done with him?"
But no one spoke; they all kept their massive dragon heads bowed in silence. Then Huo Feng continued, "You must be this child's mother. Don't worry; he is fine; he just suddenly suffered a mental attack and has fallen unconscious."
Long Xiang immediately turned to Huo Feng, her eyes filled with worry and vigilance as she asked, "Who are you? What have you done to my child? Why can you control his body?"
"If I hadn't shown up just now, this child would have been in serious trouble. Do you think I have ill intentions? As for who I am, let this child tell you later. I see your strength surpasses theirs; take good care of him yourself. The longer I stay here, the more harm it will cause him."
Suddenly, Huo Feng's body went limp as if he were about to collapse onto the ground, and at the same time, the white dragon-shaped phantom around him vanished.
Seeing that Huo Feng now had the aura of a Golden Wyvern, Long Xiang quickly flashed over to his side and cradled him in her hands.
At this moment, the other dragons also broke free from their suppressed auras but still looked at Long Xiang holding Huo Feng with lingering shock.
Long You's voice suddenly rang out as he addressed the other four clan leaders of the dragon race—the Four Elders—saying, "I believe you all felt deeply about what just happened. That mysterious dragon aura emanated from him; I think we should reconsider how we handle this matter."
At this moment, the other four dragon clan leaders gathered around the Dragon Emperor, Long You, and expressed their strong opposition. They believed they should take advantage of Huo Feng fainting again to eliminate him. Especially the leader of the Earth Rock Dragon, Rock Pigeon, angrily stated, "No, he has lived with humans for so long. What if he has developed deeper feelings for them? We cannot take that risk; we must remember that our current situation is largely due to the actions of humans."
"I know that humans killed your first son, and you have never gotten over it. But what if that one appears again in anger while we act? We would be completely unable to resist his power," Long You said helplessly. More importantly, he noticed his daughter’s behavior; Long Xiang had never shown such emotions since being brought back to the dragon clan.
Just as Rock Pigeon was pondering something, a violent aura suddenly surged into the sky. All the dragons looked up and saw Long Xiang flying into the air with Huo Feng cradled in her claws, transforming into a beam of golden light shooting off into the distance.
Before Long You could speak, the Four Elders took flight in pursuit of Long Xiang, shouting, "All clansmen, follow me!"
Because of Long Xiang and now Huo Feng, all dragons had significant objections to Long You's opinion. Only the Golden Wyvern clan remained behind, waiting for Long You's orders. Concerned for his daughter Long Xiang, Long You had no choice but to command, "Golden Wyvern clan, heed my orders; all dragons follow me in pursuit!"
Thus, within this Dragon Domain, all dragons chased after Long Xiang. However, Long Xiang's strength far surpassed theirs; no matter how hard they tried, they could only keep a distant view of her figure and barely manage to not lose sight of her.
At this moment, they forgot that another dragon was trapped with Long Xiang in that Meteor Dungeon—the last surviving member of the nearly extinct Frost Dragon clan, her mother Po Xuan.
When Long Xiang broke out of the dungeon, Po Xuan took the opportunity to hide her presence in the shadows. Now seeing all the dragons chasing after Long Xiang into the distance, Po Xuan suddenly transformed in the dungeon until she shrank down to the size of a fist.
In a flash, she exited the dungeon and quickly flew away in the opposite direction from them.
