Primordial is timeless; the passage of time leaves no trace on the immortal, a thousand years like a single day. 0

The Purple-Clad Daoist still bears that cold and indifferent demeanor, with three thousand silver strands loosely gathered into a bun by a single jade hairpin. His handsome and noble features are breathtaking, though he is not a mortal. In fact, even among the many striking Primordial immortals, Hongjun Daoist stands out with his exceptional appearance. His aura of elegance and detachment is unmatched in the entire Primordial realm. 0

As soon as Hongjun Daoist appeared, the previously somewhat noisy Purple Cloud Palace fell silent. 0

Those immortals who had been whispering, mocking, or arguing suddenly became quiet. There are always some individuals in this world who do not need lengthy speeches or renowned titles; with just a calm gaze and an imposing presence, they can command respect. Even if this person was once an insignificant nobody, it only highlights the depth of their power. 0

Facing Hongjun, the immortals within the Purple Cloud Palace felt an unshakeable pressure descending upon them, suppressing their limbs and making them hesitant to act recklessly. With just this sensation, they understood that this unfamiliar Daoist, whom they had never seen before, possessed unfathomable strength that they could not contend with at their current level. The myriad thoughts swirling in their minds before encountering Hongjun Daoist dissipated instantly. 0

"Disciple greets the Master!" 0

The immortals in the Purple Cloud Palace bowed in unison, speaking respectfully. 0

Although Hongjun Daoist had not taken them as disciples, their presence to listen to his teachings today created a bond of Karma. It was only fitting for these immortals to address Hongjun as Master, despite the shallow nature of their connection. 0

Hongjun took a seat on the foremost Lotus Platform, casting a calm glance around the Purple Cloud Palace. His gaze lingered momentarily on the Black Lotus, where he noticed the shadow of a young boy with long black hair seated atop it. A hint of surprise flickered in his eyes before quickly being concealed. 0

Hongjun's lips are thin and usually pressed together lightly, exuding an air of aloofness. Ye Chuanze, seated on the Black Lotus, observed the long-absent figure of Hongjun Daoist before him and couldn't help but think that men with thin lips are often cold-hearted. Then he smiled wryly; it seemed there was no one in this world more indifferent than this Dao Ancestor Hongjun. It was not merely coldness; it was utterly heartless. Truly, he was devoid of distractions, as calm as still water, without stirring waves. 0

With this thought, Ye Chuanze's previously restless heart suddenly settled. The urge to reconnect due to their past acquaintance faded away instantly. A person as deep and calculating as Hongjun was indeed unsuitable for friendship; one might find themselves schemed against before even obtaining what they desired from him. 0

The path of cultivation and enlightenment has no shortcuts; a moment of carelessness can lead one astray. Only by remaining steadfast in one's heart, resisting temptation, avoiding greed and desire, and not being arrogant or restless can one aspire to reach the Great Dao. 0

In an instant, Ye Chuanze's heart became clear and transparent, brushing away the dust, elevating his state of mind, and gradually increasing his cultivation. 0

Hongjun sensed the changes occurring nearby and couldn't help but glance at Ye Chuanze. This young man indeed possessed extraordinary talent; he was able to enter a meditative state and penetrate the depths of his heart. 0

"I am Hongjun. In the past, I obtained fragments of the Jade Tablet of Creation, allowing me to seek the Dao and attain sainthood, thus bearing the responsibility to enlighten all beings in heaven and earth. Today, I will speak on the Dao for three thousand three hundred years..." Hongjun sat atop the Lotus Platform, slightly parting his lips to expound the Dao Law. The eighteen aspects of the Great Dao and three thousand minor paths flowed from Hongjun's mouth like the most profound and mysterious sounds in the world. All the immortals within the Purple Cloud Palace were immersed in this enigmatic Dao Law, closing their eyes in meditation, comprehending its essence. 0

Golden Lotuses surged from the ground, auspicious clouds flew in from the horizon, and rays of light illuminated the surroundings with a thousand layers of auspicious energy. Hongjun's teachings brought forth heavenly auspicious signs; melodious celestial music echoed in their ears while the fragrance of lotuses filled their senses. If anyone were to open their eyes at that moment, they would surely be astonished. Within the vast Purple Cloud Palace, countless golden lotuses radiated light gathered around the seated immortals. Each Golden Lotus contained supreme Dao Law and boundless Merit. 0

Above their heads, three flowers gathered together while five energies converged within their hearts. Every immortal present had a profound understanding of Dao Law and possessed remarkable innate talent. At that moment, under the guidance of a great teacher, it was as if a pair of hands had swept away the fog and clouds in their hearts, leading to sudden clarity and rapid advancement. 0

Everyone appeared entranced, lost in the mysteries of Dao Law. 0

Time passed uncounted for the Primordial beings; in the blink of an eye, three thousand years had gone by. 0

Hongjun's voice came to an abrupt halt; the Golden Lotuses dispersed, and the radiant light faded away. The immortals awakened from their immersion in Dao Law. 0

Ye Chuanze opened his slightly closed eyes; his dark pupils were deep like a dry well—silent and devoid of life. Indeed! He had long lost track of how many years he had lived; his state of mind felt ancient beyond measure. Even though this ethereal form he manifested appeared as that of a youthful figure, it could not change his inherently aged essence. If it weren't for Hongjun's teachings that unearthed buried memories he was reluctant to revisit, he might still think of himself as a vibrant young man full of life. 0

Why did this Primordial immortal take on an adult form upon transformation while he alone manifested as a frail youth? The appearance is born from one's heart; every Primordial immortal takes shape with their own obsessions—desiring to possess immense power—thus they manifest as strong young bodies. However, Ye Chuanze's greatest obsession was not for overwhelming strength but rather for memories he wished not to forget. 0

Ye Chuanze's lifelong tragedy began when he was sixteen. Since then, no matter how successful he became, he could never let go of it. He dreamed countless times of returning to that tragic age of sixteen to change everything. This was his obsession, buried deep within his heart. Even though the countless eons of Primordial time had obliterated his obsession, and he could hardly remember it, it still had not disappeared. 0

Today, Hongjun's sermon unearthed the obsession buried deep within him, forcing him to confront his past that he dared not face. He struggled in his memories, screaming and grieving, as if trapped in a quagmire; the more he struggled, the deeper he sank, unable to free himself. 0

Ye Chuanze lowered his gaze, recalling the most sorrowful moments when he was lost in memories. At that time, a cold yet gentle voice lingered in his ears, soothing his broken soul and preventing him from losing himself in hatred. 0

An obsession too deep will surely lead to madness. Only by cutting off the obsession can one seek the path! 0

Ye Chuanze severed the obsession in his heart, completely letting go of the past. His mindset transformed dramatically, and from then on, he pursued immortality and enlightenment without any hidden dangers. 0
