Ye Chuanze traveled eastward, guided by his sensitivity to spiritual energy, and unearthed many rare Spiritual Treasures and spiritual roots, feeling quite satisfied. Suddenly, a strong disturbance of spiritual energy emanated from the Lower Realm. The Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus flying high in the sky abruptly halted. After a moment of thought, Ye Chuanze steered the Black Lotus toward the source of the spiritual energy disturbance in the Lower Realm. Such intense spiritual energy must indicate the emergence of a valuable Spiritual Treasure!
The place where he finally landed was a Heavenly Pool, shrouded in white mist and overflowing with spiritual energy. Ye Chuanze waved his hand, dispersing the mist. There, he beheld a Twelfth Grade blue Lotus Platform quietly blooming in the Heavenly Pool, radiating a gentle azure light. It was the Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus! Ye Chuanze couldn't help but show surprise; this Chaos Azure Lotus had given birth to four Lotus Seeds, which transformed into the Twelve-Grade Merit Golden Lotus, Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus, Twelve Grades of Fiery Red Lotus, and the Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus.
The Twelfth-Grade Annihilation Black Lotus was the original form of Ye Chuanze, while the Twelve Grades of Fiery Red Lotus belonged to Minghe Old Ancestor. Now, encountering this Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus was remarkable, though the whereabouts of the Twelve-Grade Merit Golden Lotus remained unknown.
Excitement surged within Ye Chuanze, thinking perhaps today was his lucky day to come across this Innate Spiritual Treasure, the Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus. Although his original form was the most powerful world-destroying Black Lotus among those four Lotus Seeds, this Creation Azure Lotus did not hold as much significance for him. However, no one would ever complain about having too many Spiritual Treasures. More treasures never weigh one down!
He gazed at the quietly blooming Creation Azure Lotus in the Heavenly Pool and said, "We are both transformed from Lotus Seeds, belonging to the same Twelve-Tiered Lotus. Our meeting today is fate. In the future, I will treat you well." With that, he joyfully reached out to collect the Creation Azure Lotus.
Just as he made his move, several Daoists suddenly flew down from above. Upon seeing them, Ye Chuanze slowed his actions. The newcomers were none other than the Three Pure Ones. Realizing who they were made him uneasy; today, this Creation Azure Lotus would likely change hands.
The sight of Ye Chuanze surprised the Three Pure Ones. Laozi maintained his usual reticence. The three were always united; when one spoke, it represented all three's opinions, with each decision typically made by Primordial. However, Ye Chuanze knew that among the three, Laozi held the most authority. If Laozi disapproved of something said or done by Primordial, then changes would be made without argument. This was the authority of an elder brother, not easily challenged by younger siblings.
Seeing Ye Chuanze, Sky-Connecting was the first to speak: "Why are Fuxi and Nuwa not here?"
In response to this question, instead of answering directly, Ye Chuanze asked back: "Why do you want to see them?"
"Are you not usually seen together?"
"Who said that?"
Suddenly, a smile appeared on Sky-Connecting's face as he replied: "I must have misunderstood."
Ye Chuanze also smiled back and said: "You are not alone in your misunderstanding."
The words were comforting to hear, and Sky-Connecting instantly felt a surge of goodwill towards Ye Chuanze. He said, "Now that you have such cultivation, you should be able to travel freely without any worries. By the way, congratulations, my friend. Since our last parting, your cultivation has indeed advanced quite rapidly."
"It's just thanks to Hongjun Daoist. That day, all the friends who listened to the teachings at Purple Cloud Palace must have experienced significant growth in their cultivation as well," Ye Chuanze replied nonchalantly. He felt no pressure in referring to Hongjun as the distant Daoist in front of outsiders. He did not want the Primordial immortals to know about his relationship with Hongjun, as Hongjun's status would become too elevated in the future, and he did not want to attract unnecessary trouble. Upon hearing this, Sky-Connecting nodded in agreement, saying, " Mr. Ye speaks very wisely."
Ye Chuanze glanced at the silent Primordial standing beside him. Original Complexion was cold, with a stern expression and tightly pressed lips, giving off an air of aloofness that seemed to say "do not approach." Seeing this demeanor made Ye Chuanze understand why the immortals from Primordial were reluctant to speak when it came to the Three Pure Ones. The cold and disdainful attitude of Primordial was indeed quite off-putting.
Anyone who looked at him would feel annoyed; even the most patient person could hardly tolerate his icy demeanor. It seemed that the Three Pure Ones had little connection with the immortals of Primordial, which was understandable. During the incident over the Banana Leaf when the immortals were competing for it, although Primordial had spoken harshly to him, after their fight, he acknowledged him and received support from the Three Pure Ones, which allowed him to obtain a piece of the Banana Leaf. "It’s been a long time since we last met; you haven’t changed at all, my friend!" said Ye Chuanze, looking at Primordial, his tone laced with jest. What he really meant was that summer had long since arrived yet this ice block remained solid and unmelted!
Hearing this, Primordial cast him a cold glance and replied indifferently, "You haven't changed either." After a pause, he added, "Still a Black Lotus."
"…… Oh! Damn! Who said that only Sky-Connecting has a sharp tongue? Seriously! Primordial's sarcasm is just as cutting as his!"
After hearing this, Sky-Connecting, with a smile on his face, said: "Yes! When I first met you, Mr. Ye, you looked just like this! After thousands of years without change; speaking of which, you must have been conscious since before Pangu opened up the heavens. Now it seems you haven’t changed for hundreds of millions of years!"
"…… Damn! I misjudged you! Just when I thought you were decent, you went ahead and stabbed me right in the heart like your brother."
With an icy tone, Primordial continued: "I suppose for the next few thousand years you will still look like this; there will be no change."

Primordial glanced at the black-haired youth sitting opposite on Black Lotus, noticing his expression was quite grim. He rarely softened his tone and said, “Then I wish Mr. Ye success in your transformation.” However, even with the softened tone, it still sounded cold, and paired with his expressionless face, it was hard to discern any goodwill in those words.
Ye Chuanze felt a chill wash over him and pondered whether Primordial's words were a genuine blessing or a veiled mockery. After pondering for a long time, he still couldn't reach a conclusion, so he politely replied, “Thank you for your kind words!”
It was rare for Laozi to speak up, and he said slowly, “The Great Dao has fifty; Heaven has forty-nine; one must be concealed. Under the heavenly law, all things in the world leave a thread of life. Mr. Ye, do not worry too much.”
Ye Chuanze looked at him in slight surprise. Laozi maintained his usual calm demeanor as if he hadn’t just spoken those words. Ye Chuanze understood that for Laozi to say such things was already a great favor; knowing he owed him a debt of gratitude, he sincerely thanked him, “Thank you for your guidance; Ye Chuanze will remember it.”
Ye Chuanze reflected that among the Three Pure Ones, Laozi was still somewhat human; the other two might as well have traveled to the Celestial Empire during the Republic era to become picky and nagging old hags! Quite sharp-tongued indeed.
After a moment of silence among everyone, Ye Chuanze glanced at the Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus in the Heavenly Pool and sighed inwardly. It seemed that the Creation Azure Lotus was still beyond his reach. Well then, let it be; consider it a personal favor and a good connection.
He spoke up, “This Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus is fated with the three of you. Ye Chuanze congratulates you on obtaining this Spiritual Treasure.”
As soon as he spoke, the faces of the Three Pure Ones relaxed, their expressions softening.
Primordial said to him, "Friend, your kindness is noted."
Ye Chuanze smiled lightly at this and remained silent. He had no desire for that unattainable Spiritual Treasure, which could be exchanged for a favorable connection with the Three Pure Ones—a very worthwhile deal. From the moment the Three Pure Ones appeared, the Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus no longer belonged to him. Alone, he could not contend with the Three Pure Ones. However... there was only one Spiritual Treasure, while there were three of the Three Pure Ones. Ye Chuanze secretly curled his lips; he was curious to see how these brothers of deep affection would act.
To his surprise, it was not Primordial who acted first, but Laozi. Laozi summoned the Twelve Grade Creation Azure Lotus to his side and examined it carefully for a moment before... drawing a sharp sword and mercilessly striking down at the Creation Azure Lotus, cutting it twice.
Ye Chuanze raised an eyebrow at this display; Laozi had quite the spirit! To strike down such a Spiritual Treasure showed he truly had a detached and open heart.
As Laozi's sword fell, the Creation Azure Lotus split into three parts, transforming into a flat crutch, a Jade Ruyi, and an Azure Wind Sword, which flew into the hands of Laozi, Primordial, and Sky-Connecting.
Watching this scene, Ye Chuanze couldn't help but recall a saying he had once seen: "White lotus, red flower, green lotus leaf; the Three Teachings were originally one family."
Primordial put away the Jade Ruyi and looked at Ye Chuanze, speaking in a calm tone: " Mr. Ye, why not join us at Kunlun Mountain to discuss Dao together?"
Ye Chuanze was surprised by this invitation to Kunlun Mountain but nodded in response, saying, "Then I shall impose!"
