The man in black was none other than the "dead" Rahul. 0

The cave had been destroyed and buried by a lightning strike summoned by Ye Chuanze. Rahul stood outside the cave, waved his hand, and the rubble blocking the entrance instantly turned to dust, revealing the passageway. He brushed off the dust from his sleeves and stepped into the cave. 0

Ye Chuanze, feeling apprehensive and uncertain, did not dare to venture deeper into the cave. However, Rahul walked further inside without any hesitation. The deeper he went, the colder the atmosphere became. If Ye Chuanze were present, he would surely be astonished. For deep within the cave, Demonic Energy still raged; he thought he had already eradicated the magical barriers in this place. 0

In the depths of the cave, the light was dim, and faintly visible was a deep green Ghost Fire. Monsters huddled in the shadows, trembling in fear of Rahul's chilling aura, not daring to approach. A few shadowy creatures that had not managed to escape turned to black mist upon touching Rahul's body, leaving no trace behind. Having fought and cultivated in the Outer Realm for millions of years, Rahul's aura instilled fear and respect in all creatures. 0

Rahul stopped in his tracks; this was a spacious stone chamber with a stone bed inside. Lying on the bed was a pale-faced man with disheveled black hair. The man lifted his head to reveal a delicate and pale face. He smirked slightly and said in a cold voice, "To think you came personally; I must have quite an influence!" 0

Rahul looked at him coldly, not hiding his ruthless demeanor. His voice was deep as he said, "I thought I made it very clear: no evil being is allowed to leave the Outer Realm! Those who defy this will be punished!" 0

The man suddenly laughed upon hearing this, his eyes carrying an unshakeable chill as he looked at Rahul and seductively said, "My lord, look! This land is so vast and beautiful; these weak Sentient Beings are so adorable and full of life. All of this... should belong to us! My lord, the Outer Realm is too desolate; this should be our home." 0

Rahul remained silent at his words. The man smugly curled his lips and continued to entice him, "Why should those Righteous Immortals possess such beautiful and fertile land while we evil beings can only hide in that barren Outer Realm? It is unfair. My lord, I know you yearn for this land just like we do. Why suppress your burgeoning desires?" 0

"Are you done? You really are long-winded!" Rahul coldly interrupted him with an icy tone laced with mockery. "Is that all you can do? Just talk? I have already stated that any evil being leaving the Outer Realm will be punished. You are bold!" 0

Upon hearing this, the man's expression changed; he waved his hand and a surge of black mist rushed toward Rahul. 0

Rahul watched him coldly with a mocking smile as that black mist vanished upon touching the hem of his garment. "What else do you have? Use it all." 0

The man's eyes widened in shock as malice flashed across his face. He pointed at Rahul and cursed, "You imprison all demons in the Outer Realm, allowing them to kill each other without permission to leave! The entire Outer Realm is drenched in blood and endless slaughter; your heart is wicked!" 0

At this moment, Rahul's expression grew impatient. "Do you want me to let you leave and turn this Primeval Continent into a second Outer Realm? Demons are insatiable!" 0

Just then, thick black smoke suddenly erupted from the stone bed, obscuring the man's figure. 0

Rahul sneered and drew a Light Sword, throwing it forward where it cut through the air like silver light. Soon after, the black smoke dissipated to reveal the man on the stone bed with wide eyes filled with resentment and unwillingness as a sword pierced through his heart. 0

Seeing this, Rahul snorted coldly. He stepped forward to retrieve his sword; in an instant, the man's corpse turned into black mist and vanished. He stood still for a moment before turning away mercilessly. The illusionist was right; he indeed craved this land and that Black Lotus growing within it. One day he would return to reclaim what rightfully belonged to him—but not now. 0

Ye Chuanze had no idea what had happened in the cave after he left. He was sitting on the Black Lotus, heading towards the Purple Cloud Palace outside of Thirty-Three Heavens. He originally did not want to go to the Purple Cloud Palace so soon, although Hongjun had subtly hinted that he could come back often when there was nothing going on. However, he had no desire to see Hongjun's expressionless face; he would rather deal with the scheming old fox Di Jun. 0

But Fuxi and Nüwa were still in seclusion, and most of the immortals in Primordial had just returned from listening to teachings at the Purple Cloud Palace, now all in closed-door meditation. Alone, Ye Chuanze truly found no one to entertain him. At this moment, the downside of his teacher privately giving him extra lessons became apparent; he had been abandoned by the mainstream of Primordial, drifting away from the crowd while everyone else was cultivating, leaving him alone and idle. 0

With no one to play with, Ye Chuanze reluctantly decided to go to the Purple Cloud Palace to keep Hongjun company and gather some information. Upon arriving at the Purple Cloud Palace, the attendant Haotian was already waiting outside. Seeing him, Haotian's face lit up as he said, "Senior Brother Ye, you're here! The master said you would come today and has been waiting for you by the lotus pond since early morning." 0

Ye Chuanze found this strange and asked, "How did he know I would come today? Could it be that legendary ability of divination?" 0

Haotian, being a bit too candid, replied, "Ever since you left, Master has instructed me every day to wait for you outside, saying that you would return!" 0

"..." Ye Chuanze. 0

"What nonsense are you talking about!" Yaochi suddenly appeared, scolding Haotian with an unhappy expression. "Be careful; Master won't let you off easily if he finds out!" 0

Upon hearing this, Haotian looked embarrassed. 0

Turning to Ye Chuanze, Yaochi said, "Senior Brother Ye, this way please. Master has been waiting for you for a long time." 0

Throughout this exchange, Ye Chuanze appeared as if he had seen a ghost, lost in thought for a long time before finally coming back to his senses. He sat on the Lotus Platform, flying smoothly towards the lotus pond outside of Hongjun's chamber. 0

Dressed in a Purple Robe, Hongjun sat by a stone table beside the lotus pond, where a pot of wine and two cups were placed. 0

"What’s with that expression?" Hongjun asked as he looked up at him. 0

After glancing at him, Ye Chuanze hesitated before finally saying, "It's nothing; just a little startled." 0

Hearing this, Hongjun frowned. "Who startled you?" 0

"..." Ye Chuanze. 0

"Cough cough..." He coughed twice, shifting the topic, "Master, do you have any guests today?" 0

Hongjun, seeing that he was unwilling to answer, did not press further and said, "What guests? I am not like you, with many friends." 0

If this had come from someone else, it would have sounded quite sour. However, the speaker was Hongjun. Ye Chuanze carefully observed Hongjun's indifferent expression and pondered for a long time, concluding that Hongjun's words were likely just a simple statement without any emotional undertones. He smiled and replied, "Although Master may not have many friends, I have many disciples. The three senior brothers are all respectful individuals." 0

Upon hearing this, Hongjun looked up at him and said slowly, "I have more than just three disciples." 0

"...Naturally, I respect you in my heart as well," Ye Chuanze began to feel that coming to Purple Cloud Palace today was a mistake. 0

"Since you respect me, come to Purple Cloud Palace more often in the future. Don't be like your three senior brothers who are often nowhere to be seen." 0

"..." 0

During his time recovering at Purple Cloud Palace, Ye Chuanze had seen the Three Pure Ones visit Hongjun frequently. Based on their visiting frequency, if he wanted to surpass them, he would need to come to Purple Cloud Palace at least once every fifty years. In the realm of Primordials, time is measured in centuries; it's common to retreat for a hundred years or cultivate for a hundred years... 0

After a moment of silent contemplation, Ye Chuanze suddenly asked, "Master, what were those Golden Lotuses that descended when you were giving your teachings last time?" He had been curious about this for a long time but refrained from asking during Fuxi's visit. 0

Hongjun glanced at him and replied, "Those are the Merits bestowed by the Heavenly Dao when I teach." 0

Ye Chuanze had once given teachings to the surrounding Sentient Beings at Buzhou Mountain and received Merits from above. When Hongjun teaches at Purple Cloud Palace, the Heavenly Dao naturally does not forget to bestow Merits as well. However, due to Hongjun's current level of cultivation, he could not absorb the Merits directly; they transformed into Golden Lotuses that swirled within Purple Cloud Palace. Seven layers of Merits were taken by this palace, leaving three layers that became the Golden Lotuses swirling in the main hall of Purple Cloud Palace. After the teachings concluded and the Merit Golden Lotuses dissipated, those three layers of Merits would be wasted. 0

Ye Chuanze was taken aback by this revelation. He had countless speculations about these Golden Lotuses but had never considered this possibility. "Since it is Master's Merit, why can I absorb it?" 0

"You are my disciple; naturally, you can absorb this Merit." 0

The descending Merits benefit not only oneself but also those close to them. For instance, Pangu the Great's Merits from creating the world fell upon the Three Pure Ones; thus they were born with great fortune and Merits. Hongjun acknowledged Ye Chuanze as his disciple and intended for him to absorb these teaching Merits; hence he was able to do so. 0

Ye Chuanze's mind raced with thoughts for a long time. Ultimately, he decided against asking whether the Three Pure Ones could also absorb these Merits; he instinctively felt it was better not to voice that question. 0

"Thank you very much for your great kindness, Master!" Ye Chuanze sincerely expressed his gratitude; he truly appreciated Hongjun's kindness towards him. 0

Hongjun looked up at him with deep eyes and a calm expression on his face, "You should be more polite after all. I don't like you to be like this. It seems that there is too much estrangement between you and me." "I treat other people the same way. " Ye Chuanze looked at him and said with a sincere face: "My temper is like this, there is no way, I can't change it." "If you can't change it now, just change it slowly. I can't bear it as a teacher." Hongjun looked uneasy. Moved. "...I'll try my best." After a long time, Hongjun poured himself a glass of wine and said, "You will stay here tonight, don't leave." Ye Chuanze thought for a moment, nodded and said, "Okay." Ye Chuanze glanced at the two wine glasses placed on the table and couldn't help but ask: "Master, since there are no guests, why are there two wine glasses on the table." Hongjun Hearing this, he glanced at him, He lowered his eyes and said nothing. 0
