Hongjun heard Rahul's words and, instead of getting angry, smiled coldly. He curled his lips into a sarcastic smile and said, "Why should I tempt him? He is my disciple, naturally he is with me." 0

Rahul was furious upon hearing this. "Before he took form, he was already mine. After taking form, he should belong to me. You, Hongjun, took my possession while I was away! This grudge cannot be tolerated!" 0

Hongjun let out a cold laugh, his tone dismissive as if mocking Rahul's arrogance. "If you maintain this attitude, he will likely never have good feelings towards you. Rahul, you are too self-righteous and have never changed." 0

Rahul frowned, seemingly confused by his words but more likely dissatisfied. He stared at Hongjun with a cold expression. When his gaze inadvertently swept over Hongjun's sleeve, it suddenly froze, and his expression darkened. 0

Primordial beings often leave special marks on their clothing to signify their identity. For example, Hongjun's garments are always embroidered with purple cloud patterns, which are unique among the Primordial. In contrast, Ye Chuanze's clothing features an embroidered blooming Black Lotus, typically found on the collar, cuffs, and hem. 0

At that moment, Rahul noticed the unique Black Lotus on Hongjun's sleeve. He suddenly realized why he felt something was off about Hongjun today; it was due to the change in attire. Hongjun usually wore a consistent Purple Robe but today donned a dark long shirt. Initially, Rahul had not paid attention to this change; he simply felt that Hongjun looked somewhat displeasing today and seemed particularly unfamiliar. Now understanding the reason behind it filled him with rage. 0

Wearing the same clothing signifies an intimacy that only very close individuals would share. 0

"Hongjun! You must have used some trick to obtain Ye Chuanze's clothing!" Rahul refused to acknowledge that the clothing was willingly exchanged by Ye Chuanze with Hongjun, just as he would not admit that Ye Chuanze shared a closeness with Hongjun far beyond his own. 0

At first, Hongjun was taken aback and frowned at Rahul's accusation but quickly understood what Rahul meant. He knew Rahul had misunderstood and chose not to correct him; instead, his smile deepened. To Rahul, this seemed like a display of pride and provocation. His displeasure grew even more intense. 0

The typical behavior of Primordials is to fight when they are displeased. 0

Thus, Rahul drew out the God-Slaying Spear, gripping it tightly as he pointed it directly at Hongjun with a grim expression and said coldly, "Hongjun, do you dare to fight?" 0

Hongjun looked at him and curled his lips into a chilling smile. His lips moved clearly as he replied, "What is there to fear?" 0

And so the two of them each took up their weapons and began to fight. 0

The battle lasted from midnight until dawn, with both fighters evenly matched and neither gaining the upper hand, resulting in injuries on both sides. However, such minor wounds were insignificant for individuals of their cultivation level. 0

Rahul sheathed his weapon, his hair slightly disheveled and his clothes torn in several places. He coldly fixed his gaze on Hongjun and said, "No one can take what belongs to me. I will bring him back to the Demon Realm!" After speaking, without waiting for Hongjun's reaction, he snorted coldly and turned to leave. 0

Hongjun stood still, expressionless, his demeanor inscrutable as he watched Rahul depart. 0

After a long while, he glanced down at his own tattered clothes and let out a bitter laugh. This outfit was no longer wearable; Rahul had indeed been ruthless and cunning! It was a shame to waste a piece of clothing, Hongjun thought regretfully, but then the corners of his mouth lifted slightly in a smile. The purpose of this outfit had been fulfilled; it had served its use. 0

Hongjun had anticipated that Rahul would come looking for him today and knew that he must have suffered some setback at Ye Chuanze's hands before seeking him out. That was why he had deliberately worn Ye Chuanze's attire, waiting for him to arrive. 0

Sharing the same robes, he hoped that one day Rahul could truly achieve his wishes, Hongjun mused, and the smile on his lips turned into a bitter grin. In truth, it seemed that he and Rahul were equally matched; neither was better off than the other. 0

Meanwhile, at Buzhou Mountain Cloud Marsh Cave, Ye Chuanze welcomed an unexpected visitor early in the morning. 0

Sitting on a couch, Ye Chuanze looked at the troubled expression on Demon Emperor Di Jun's face and couldn't help but chuckle. Di Jun noticed and glanced up at him; Ye Chuanze quickly suppressed his laughter and asked seriously, "Where is Taiyi?" It was unusual not to see Taiyi following Di Jun around as they typically did. 0

"The Heavenly Palace has just been established and is very busy; he stayed behind to handle matters there," Di Jun replied. 0

Ye Chuanze nodded in understanding. Most of the Primordial beings were independent and disliked taking orders from others; those with higher cultivation levels tended to be even more so. After the establishment of the Heavenly Palace, tasks piled up, making progress difficult. Everything relied on Demon Emperor Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Taiyi managing things personally. Relying on figures like the Demon God or Demon Master for assistance was risky; even if they helped, they might complicate matters further. The saying that immortals do not partake in mortal affairs was not without reason. 0

The complexities of human relationships were beyond the comprehension of these lofty immortals. With many members among the demon race having average cultivation levels, Di Jun's first task was to win their hearts and establish supreme prestige among them. This prestige could not be built upon the powerful beings within the demon race since they were already strong enough not to revere Di Jun. Instead, Di Jun needed to gain respect among the weaker members of the demon race to secure their support and solidify his position. 0

In an instant, countless thoughts raced through Ye Chuanze's mind. He smiled at Di Jun and said, "As an older brother, you are being unfair; while Taiyi is busy at the Heavenly Palace, you come here to bother me?" 0

Di Jun forced a smile and replied, "My friend, please don't tease me. I came to seek your help." 0

"Oh?" Ye Chuanze raised an eyebrow with interest and asked, "What can I do for you?" 0

"Cough, cough..." Di Jun coughed twice to cover up his discomfort and said, "I heard that you have a good relationship with Nuwa?" 0

Hearing this, Ye Chuanze had some guesses about his purpose for coming. He joked, "Did you hear it, or do you just think so?" 0

Di Jun glanced at him and said, "Friend, I am serious. Please do not joke with me." 0

"I am serious too." Ye Chuanze picked up the Wine Jug and poured a glass for him, saying, "As a man, if you have something to say, just say it directly. Don't be so shy." 0

Di Jun felt his face flush from his words and decided to be straightforward. He said, "I... have feelings for Xi He..." After saying this much, he paused for a moment and continued, "You must know that I admire the Moon Star Fairy, Xi He." 0

"Yes, I know. I also know that Xi He does not like you and has kept you at arm's length." Ye Chuanze was always sharp with his words and didn't hold back. 0

Di Jun's expression turned awkward at his remark, but he continued as if nothing had happened: "Recently, it seems that Xi He's attitude towards me has improved; she no longer keeps me at such a distance as before." 0

"Congratulations," Ye Chuanze said timely. 0

Di Jun looked at him and added, "But for some reason, she hasn't seen me lately; it seems she is avoiding me." 0

"What did you do to make her unhappy?" Ye Chuanze prompted. 0

Di Jun frowned and thought for a long time before saying, "Nothing. I have been very careful with her, afraid of upsetting her." 0

"Then are you close with other Fairies? Did that upset her?" Ye Chuanze asked again. 0

"Friend, please don't joke. Just dealing with Xi He is enough trouble for me; why would I provoke other Fairies?" Di Jun replied. 0

Ye Chuanze poured himself a glass of wine and said, "Then it's strange. You haven't upset her and you're not close with other Fairies. Why would she be angry and avoid you?" 0

Di Jun sighed and said, "Yes! I am also puzzled, which is why I came to ask you. You have always been good with people, even someone like Nuwa... someone with that kind of temperament gets along well with you. Even the Dao Ancestor dotes on you, so I came to seek your advice on how to win the favor of a Fairy." 0

Hearing this, Ye Chuanze almost spat out his drink. Can you not speak like that? You can mention Nuwa, but what does the Dao Ancestor have to do with this? The Dao Ancestor is not a Fairy, not a Fairy, not a Fairy... For some reason, Ye Chuanze's face suddenly turned red as he recalled that day in the Purple Cloud Palace when Hongjun was completely naked, his skin as white as snow, his figure tall and slender, and his appearance strikingly beautiful, stirring something deep within. 0

When facing Hongjun that day, Ye Chuanze did not feel much at the time, but now reflecting on that scene made his heart race and difficult to calm. 0

Di Jun glanced at his flushed face and suddenly asked, "Why is your face red?" 0

"Ah! I drank too much." Ye Chuanze evasively lifted a cup to his lips and took a sip, changing the subject. "You continue; how can I help you?" 0

Now it was Di Jun's turn to blush. He looked somewhat embarrassed and said, "Do you have any ideas on how to win Xi He's favor?" After a pause, he added, "Just like how you usually win the Dao Ancestor's favor." 0

Ye Chuanze felt a lump in his throat and nearly spat out blood. He moved his lips and said, "Di Jun, don't talk nonsense. My relationship with my master is not the same as yours with Xi He." 0

"I know that," Di Jun replied, looking at him in surprise. "The Dao Ancestor is also someone who is very hard to get along with. Since you can win the Dao Ancestor's favor and affection, you must have a way to teach me how to win Xi He's favor." 0

Fine! It's not my fault; it's just that Di Jun's logic is too bizarre. Can winning my master's favor be compared to winning a girl's favor? Can it!? 0

Ye Chuanze fiddled with his cup, lowering his gaze. After a moment, he spoke up. "Why don't you confess your love to Xi He?" 0

"Confess?" Di Jun asked in confusion for the first time hearing this term. 0

"You admire Xi He and love her; this is just between the two of you. You confess your love to her and ask her to marry you. Then you hold a grand wedding banquet and invite all the immortals from around the world to celebrate. Let all the immortals witness your love and congratulate you. You give Xi He a title; she becomes your legitimate wife, and she will be happy." Ye Chuanze explained. 0

Upon hearing this, Di Jun's face lit up with joy as he said, "Great idea! How did I not think of that? You are indeed clever! No wonder you are the beloved disciple of the Dao Ancestor." 0

Ye Chuanze remained unfazed by this praise; he had become indifferent. No matter what Di Jun said next, he could maintain his composure despite feeling internally wounded. Watching Di Jun leave in high spirits, Ye Chuanze darkly thought to himself: I wish him rejection in his proposal and a lifetime of being a single old bachelor! 0

After Di Jun left, Ye Chuanze relaxed suddenly, leaned against the wall behind him, raised his head slightly, and pondered in his heart, between him and Hongjun... 0
