Fierce struggled for a moment, trying to stand up, but Mo Ming stepped down hard again, pinning him firmly to the ground. His eyes were filled with murderous intent as he said, "I hate it when people use hostages to threaten me, so today you must pay the price of death for all of this!"
"Haha... the winner takes all. My life is in your hands anyway, so there's no point in saying more. Just do it. Do you want to kill me directly or torture me? It's up to you!" Fierce showed no fear and continued to laugh wildly.
A cold glint flashed in Mo Ming's eyes as he pressed down harder with his foot, causing Fierce's expression to twist in pain. He frowned, but the smile remained at the corner of his mouth, displaying a proud spirit of defiance.
"I am waiting." This statement drifted from Mo Ming's lips.
Originally, Mo Ming would have tortured him in anger, and Fierce was already prepared for that. However, Mo Ming's words surprised him, and a look of astonishment appeared on his face as he asked, "What?"
"I have a deep-seated grudge with the Dark Order where it's either you die or I die. As a member of the Dark Order who has fallen into my hands, I certainly won't let you go; you must die," Mo Ming said calmly. "However, I respect that you are a man. I am waiting for news—news that Murong Lian is safe. At that time, I can give you a quick death."
"Is that so?" Fierce understood Mo Ming's meaning and a hint of a smile appeared on his lips as he said, "In my opinion, I won't get to enjoy a quick death. However, I am willing to experience your torturous methods."
Upon hearing this, Mo Ming's gaze turned even colder. The implication in Fierce's words was clear: Murong Lian would definitely not be safe!
At this moment, Hebrew had also dealt with the minions of the Dark Order that Fierce had brought and was about to approach Mo Ming when he heard footsteps coming from outside the door. The lightness of those footsteps indicated that the person approaching was an expert.
Mo Ming also heard the footsteps outside and furrowed his brow. Just as he was wondering who it could be, the figure appeared. Upon seeing the newcomer, Mo Ming felt relieved because it was Liufeng.
"Hunter!" As the former number one in the assassin world, Hebrew naturally recognized Liufeng's identity. When he saw Liufeng arrive, his expression showed slight surprise, and his Double Fists unconsciously tightened.
"Hey, don't be nervous. Although I really want to fight you, since you have grievances with the boss, your life is naturally his to take," Liufeng said with a wicked smile upon noticing Hebrew's hostility as he walked towards Mo Ming.
"Boss, this isn't fair! You came here alone without telling me. Damn it! Luckily I got news about the Toxic Jar; otherwise, I wouldn't have known you came to this hellhole!"
"Toxic Jar told you?" Mo Ming asked in surprise. "How did that guy know I was here? I remember when I arrived here; no one mentioned it. Moreover, that guy has been missing for so long; what's going on?"
"Well, that guy and Fuxi recently found traces of the Dark Order in Nanhua City. They've been secretly tracking it down and have discovered more than a dozen hiding spots of the Dark Order. Toxic Jar even encountered Iron Fist Lingyun Tian, but to avoid alerting them, he and Fuxi have been biding their time to find more strongholds. It was only after discovering that Murong Lian had been kidnapped that they decided to take action."
Liufeng smiled slightly at the shocked Fierce and said, "Heh, you don't need to be surprised. I can honestly tell you that we have already come out, and as for you, the outcome is predictable; the forces lurking here are about to be wiped out."
"Go to hell, you bastard!"
Fierce, unafraid of death, became exceptionally irritable and tried to struggle free, but Mo Ming held him down firmly, not allowing him to rise. He roared, "Shura, this time I admit I was careless. But don’t think that by killing all of us, you will find peace. As long as the Dark Order exists, you will never know tranquility!"
"Heh, I don't mind wiping out your group first before eliminating the Dark Order. I'm talking about uprooting it completely." Mo Ming finally felt a sense of relief after winning the gamble, a smile creeping onto his lips as he said, "You're lucky; you won't have to endure my torment and can go first."
"Haha... if I'm going to die, then so be it. No need for so much talk; I Fierce am not afraid of death!" Fierce continued to laugh maniacally, though there was a hint of bitterness in his laughter. Everyone lurking here was going to die; the mission was a complete failure.
"You’re quite something. If we weren't enemies, perhaps we could have been friends."
"Friends?" Fierce revealed a sinister smile at the corner of his mouth and said, "Maybe so. Shura, I find you quite appealing; it's just a pity that we are destined to be enemies. Come on, give me a quick end; I’ll still be a good man eighteen years later."
"I will give you a quick end." After Mo Ming finished speaking, his expression became somewhat calm. He reached out to Liufeng and said, "Do you have any throwing knives? Lend me one; I'll give this guy a swift end."
Liufeng said nothing and pulled out a throwing knife, tossing it to Mo Ming. Mo Ming caught the cold blade in his hand, a fierce glint flashing in his eyes as he muttered "goodbye," quickly bending down and stabbing the knife into Fierce's heart.
Facing imminent death, Fierce showed no fear in his eyes; he still wore a faint smile until the blade pierced his heart. He fell silent and became a cold corpse with his eyes still open and a smile lingering at the corner of his mouth.
"Brother, no need to keep your eyes wide open looking at me. Don’t worry; I won’t die until I send the Dark Order members down to see you." Mo Ming reached out and closed Fierce's eyes before standing up and looking at Hebrew.
"I think it's time for us to understand our grievances."
Just now, Mo Ming demonstrated his strength against Fierce, making Hebrew clearly aware of the gap in their abilities. Knowing he was no match for Mo Ming, he still nodded fearlessly and said, "Asura, I know I'm not your opponent, but our hatred has lasted long enough; it's time to end it. Come on, let's fight!"
"Today, we'll settle both new and old grudges!"
Mo Ming moved swiftly towards Hebrew. A glint of killing intent flashed in Hebrew's eyes as he charged forward, throwing a punch that missed completely. After easily dodging, Mo Ming retaliated with a punch to Hebrew's chest.
Given Mo Ming's current speed, Hebrew barely managed to evade one punch but was quickly forced into a defensive position, losing the opportunity to attack. Mo Ming's punches were methodical and exceptionally swift, making it increasingly difficult for Hebrew to cope.
Hebrew attempted to retreat, hoping to shake off Mo Ming's assault and regain a position of offense and defense. However, Mo Ming would not allow him to escape, closing in without giving Hebrew a moment to breathe.
"You've lost!"
Mo Ming's eyes were incredibly sharp. As Hebrew retreated, he exposed a significant opening in his defense. Seizing the moment, Mo Ming launched a powerful punch that caught Hebrew by surprise. Unable to dodge in time, Hebrew took the hit to his chest and staggered backward.
As Hebrew was retreating, Mo Ming stepped forward and executed a spinning kick aimed at Hebrew's throat. Although Hebrew instinctively raised his hand to block it, he could not dissipate the force of Mo Ming's kick. A sweet taste filled his throat as he frowned and coughed up blood.
"Those three bullets failed to take your life back then and nearly put me in danger. I don't want to make that mistake again, Hebrew. You're not entirely ruthless; you have principles in what you do, which I respect. However, we can only be enemies in this lifetime; we can never be friends!"
As Mo Ming landed, he closed in on Hebrew again, clawing at his throat and pushing him backward until they crashed against the wall. With surprising strength, he lifted Hebrew's tall frame.
"Hah... To the victor go the spoils. Asura... just give me a quick end..."
Hebrew gasped for breath as he spoke, feeling increasingly constricted. He reached out in a futile struggle, but Mo Ming tightened his grip further, rendering him powerless. He had given up resisting but instinctively clenched Mo Ming's hand.
"Hebrew, since you haven't harmed those close to me, I can grant you a swift end."
Mo Ming spoke, his eyes devoid of any killing intent. With a slight exertion of his fingers, he instantly crushed Hebrew's throat. There was little pain; Hebrew's head simply tilted to one side, and in an instant, the once formidable figure in the assassin world was completely dead.
Mo Ming held some respect for Hebrew. No matter how great the hatred, he never resorted to harming those around Mo Ming as a means of revenge. Mo Ming slowly lowered Hebrew and closed his eyes.
Today, two exceptional masters lay to rest here.
Mo Ming quietly glanced at Hebrew, feeling a sense of melancholy. A person like him could have been a friend; it was just that their positions were different, placing them on opposing sides. Then there was Fierce; these individuals were all strong-willed. They couldn't be called bad people; it was merely that their paths diverged.
"Boss, don't be so sentimental," Liufeng said. "Toxic Jar mentioned he saw a very powerful guy. To avoid being noticed, he didn't dare get too close. Moreover, when he made his move today, he was completely unseen!"
"A powerful guy?" Mo Ming furrowed his brow and asked, "What did he look like?"
"Toxic Jar said he saw him from a distance and couldn't make out much. However, he did notice that one of the man's eyes glowed in the dark. The time he saw him was when he happened to encounter Lingyun Tian," Liufeng nodded.
"That guy might be Evil Eye," Mo Ming said, somewhat astonished. "Toxic Jar is lucky; if Evil Eye had discovered his presence, escaping would have been difficult. My chances against him are only fifty-fifty!"
"Yes, I've heard about such a figure in the Dark Order—ruthless and cold-blooded. He was born with one eye damaged and suffered from a long fever as a child but survived against all odds, becoming incredibly strong since then," Liufeng recalled. When Toxic Jar first mentioned it, he had speculated but wasn't certain. Now that Mo Ming brought it up, he felt more convinced.
"He's a terrifying individual—immensely strong and exceptionally gifted. The most frightening aspect is that he's cold-hearted," Mo Ming expressed concern to Liufeng. "Tell Toxic Jar to stop tracking him and come back immediately!"
