At that moment, a sudden cry came from the carriage, and Cai Youdao immediately recalled what had just happened. Worried that Big Shopkeeper might soften his heart, he had already resolved to take the initiative. If he was correct, there must be adults inside the carriage.
As he prepared to shoot, he lifted his hand to pull back the curtain of the sedan, only to realize that something was wrong inside. There were no adults; instead, a young girl was holding a swaddled infant. The action of firing and lifting the curtain occurred simultaneously, and by the time he realized something was amiss, he had already pulled the Trigger. The continuous sounds indicated that the attackers were preparing for a second wave of shots. Taking advantage of this moment, Luzi reached out to drag the two children out of the carriage but suddenly noticed that three arrows had already pierced through both children.
Luzi knelt half inside the carriage, watching as the girl froze in her motion of trying to pass over the swaddled infant. For a long while, he couldn't react; even as the second wave of thuds came, he remained motionless. Such fragile lives were about to vanish before his eyes. They were just two children; what wrong had they done!?
Hadn't they already scouted? Wasn't it said that there were no children in this group? What was going on!? Who was behind this!?
Luzi's eyes turned red instantly as he let out a roar. He slammed his hand on the floor of the carriage and jumped backward out of it. Catching the Crossbow thrown by Cai Youdao, he saw a cavalry unit appear less than sixty meters ahead. He raised his hand and shot an arrow before drawing another arrow from behind and loading it onto the crossbow.
By the time Cai Youdao and Shop Assistant reacted, they found that Big Shopkeeper had already charged out. Ignoring the arrows flying towards him, he rushed forward towards the enemy cavalry while shooting arrows.
"Charge!"
The suppressed bloodlust was instantly ignited as more than a dozen people mimicked Luzi's movements and leaped out from their respective cover. Even if some were knocked out of formation by arrows shot from the opposite side, they recklessly charged forward.

After both sides completed their charge and separated completely, it became clear that only about thirty cavalry remained. In the earlier struggle, Luzi's team had managed to kill eleven of the enemy. However, their own losses were even worse, with only five remaining from their original number.
Luzi violently shook the blood off his sword and removed his face scarf. He raised his hand and pointed at the opposing cavalry, shouting, "If you have the guts, get off your horses and fight me! Die like men!"
The thirty-odd cavalrymen were clearly taken aback by the fact that they had suffered losses against infantry. They exchanged glances and made up their minds. Six to one! What was there to fear!? They all dismounted from their horses and charged towards the five blood-soaked warriors.

Having experienced battlefield slaughter, Luzi felt particularly numb to this small-scale fight. He turned to Cai Youdao and the three Shop Assistants, nodding in acknowledgment as he quietly said, "Victory always belongs to us! Victory always belongs to Qin State!"

Receiving their response, Luzi disdainfully glanced at the enemies now less than twenty meters away before leaping several paces forward. "Attack!" Before his voice faded, he sprang into action, leading the charge into the fray. He blocked two incoming longswords with his own before using his momentum to kick a third opponent away and then swiftly swung his blade to strike down another foe.
Cai Youdao arrived with three Shop Assistants, wielding his longsword and engaging in combat with the newcomers. Blood splattered everywhere amidst the screams and severed limbs. As only two people remained standing, the battle was nearing its end.
Luzi, holding a bloodied longsword, stared at the Masked Man across from him. "They are just hired assassins. Where did your Qin State sword come from?!"
The Masked Man looked down at his longsword and let out a cold chuckle. "I didn't expect the target to be so troublesome! If I had known, I would have asked them to pay more! You ask where these swords come from? It doesn't matter to a dead man! These were given to us by our employer. Why should you have them while we can't use them?!"
Luzi, unfazed by speaking to a dead man, snorted coldly, "I am Qin People! Of course I can use this sword! Who do you think you are to dare wield a Qin sword?!"
Hearing the opponent declare their identity, the Masked Man couldn't help but gasp in shock. The employer had only mentioned that the target's weapons were of high quality, so they needed to be equipped with such longswords. If they wanted to die slowly, they could take their trash and go to their deaths!
