The Heavenly Mechanism Sect has a total of nine levels of missions. The higher the level, the more contribution points are rewarded. Additionally, some high-level missions not only offer a substantial amount of contribution points but also provide extra rewards from the mission clients, such as silver, elixirs, Treasure Artifacts, and even Elemental Crystals.
Located at Ruyun Peak, the Xuanwu Tower only offers Outer Sect missions, and there are certain requirements for accepting these missions. One-Star Disciples can only take on missions from level one to three, while Two-Star Disciples can accept missions up to level six. Only Three-Star Level Outer Sect Disciples can take on missions of all levels.
The mission issuers may be elders from the Heavenly Mechanism Sect or other external forces that commission the sect to publish missions. Once a mission is completed, these forces will directly deliver the rewards to the Heavenly Mechanism Sect, which will then distribute them to the disciples who completed the mission in the form of contribution points.
The requirements for lower-level missions are correspondingly lower. Particularly for level one missions, any disciple who has reached the Origin Martial Realm can accept them. However, even level one missions are not necessarily easy to complete.
Among missions of the same level, there are individual and team missions. Team missions usually require a sufficient number of participants before they can be undertaken together.
Ye Feng noticed that most low-level missions involve hunting specific beasts to obtain certain parts or gathering rare herbs. While these tasks are not particularly difficult, they cover locations throughout Lingnan County and can be time-consuming. In contrast, high-level missions vary widely; some involve protecting a herb-gathering team while others require joining a beast-hunting squad to eliminate an entire nest of monsters.
As Ye Feng browsed through the various tasks listed in the mission board, he weighed his options internally. Low-level tasks posed no challenge for him and could be completed easily; however, they were too time-consuming and offered minimal rewards—only around a hundred points.
Currently, he is a Two-Star Outer Sect Disciple and can accept up to level six missions. Among these, there is one mission that surprisingly offers a reward of one thousand points.
"A reward of over a thousand contribution points is typically only possible for A-level missions. Why does this level six mission offer such a high reward?" Ye Feng became increasingly curious and took a manual from a shelf next to the mission board.
Next to each mission board is a dedicated bookshelf where detailed descriptions of each mission can be found in the manuals.
"The mission objective is to eliminate the large group of Rogue Bandits threatening Blue Stream Villa. Client: Blue Stream Villa."
"Blue Stream Villa is located in the western part of Lingnan County on Yue Ma Plain. It was established by the Blue Family as a Human-Level Sect. Most disciples in the villa are members of the Blue Family, with a few outsiders as well. The Blue Family implements sect-like management, which led to the current structure of Blue Stream Villa."

"Mission Level: Six; limited to three hundred participants. Once all Rogue Bandits are eliminated and recognized by Blue Stream Villa, each participant will receive one thousand sect contribution points!"
It must be said that the manual provides very detailed information about the task, including the identity of the client, specifics about the location, potential difficulties involved, and possible dangers faced.
Ye Feng noticed that this task had been posted on the mission board for two years; it was surprising that such a simple level six mission had remained uncompleted for so long.
"Hey, isn't that Brother Zhou? How's your injury recovering? Why are you already here to take on a mission?" A familiar voice suddenly came from behind him. Ye Feng turned around slightly surprised and found that it was Zong Nan, someone he had fought alongside before.
Now, Zong Nan appeared more mature and composed, dressed in a Two-Star Outer Sect Disciple outfit that was quite similar to Ye Feng's. The outfit was a bluish-gray color, giving him a spirited and capable look, with two gold stars embroidered on his chest, symbolizing Zong Nan's current status as a Two-Star Outer Sect Disciple.
"Is that you, Elder Brother?" Ye Feng smiled and said, "My injuries are no longer an issue. I haven't had the chance to thank you yet. If it weren't for your care after I fell unconscious, I probably wouldn't be standing here today."
"Brother Zhou is joking. If it weren't for you single-handedly withstanding most of the Dragonwing Beast's attacks, we wouldn't have been able to defeat it so easily," Zong Nan waved his hands repeatedly. He both respected and feared Ye Feng.
Due to concerns about the hidden family background of the other party, Zong Nan's tone was extremely polite, which made Ye Feng feel somewhat estranged.
Thinking that the other party might be doubting his identity, Ye Feng found it somewhat amusing. He felt that people from the Eastern Continent were overly cautious. However, he didn't want to point this out; after all, the more mysterious his identity was, the fewer troubles he might encounter in the Sect.

The inherent difficulty of large missions should be quite high; however, when shared among many martial artists, the difficulty decreases. Such missions generally offer substantial rewards but will inevitably result in casualties due to multiple participants. Moreover, if the task issuer misjudges the difficulty of the mission, it could even lead to total annihilation.
For this reason, there were warnings in the mission booklet indicating that the difficulty of this task could not be fully determined and could not guarantee safety; disciples accepting the task needed to weigh their options carefully.
"The number of Rogue Bandits is hard to estimate because over the past decade or so, Righteous Path Sect has frequently launched attacks against Evil Sects of demonic paths, leading many demonic disciples to scatter across the continent. Some powerful demonic disciples have banded together to form Rogue Bandits and cause chaos everywhere," Zong Nan stated seriously. "The Rogue Bandits in Yue Ma Plain must possess considerable strength and numbers; otherwise, Blue Stream Villa wouldn't be unable to handle them alone and would need assistance from various Sects."
Ye Feng thought for a moment and shook his head: "Although contribution points are substantial, getting people to risk their lives to help them deal with those Rogue Bandits is unlikely; after all, there are many other missions available."
"That may not be true," Zong Nan said mysteriously. "Brother Zhou hasn't noticed? Although this mission has yet to be completed for some time now, the number of people taking on this task is almost at capacity!"
Ye Feng felt a slight shock and quickly refocused his gaze on the mission panel.
"The limit for accepting this mission is three hundred people, and two hundred seventy-three have already signed up!"
"Two hundred seventy-three people have already taken on this mission; we only need twenty-seven more to meet the required number. At this point, Zong Nan paused and lowered his voice deliberately. "The news about the additional rewards was just released not long ago. Many sects, including our Heavenly Mechanism Sect, haven't updated this information on their mission panels yet. However, some individuals with insider knowledge have already learned about it and immediately accepted this neglected mission. Ye Feng instinctively glanced at the mission panel, and sure enough, the remaining twenty-seven slots had already decreased to twenty-five. In just a few moments, two Outer Sect Disciples from Heavenly Mechanism Sect had taken on this mission.
After two years of being ignored, the required number of participants for this mission was nearly full within half a day, demonstrating just how enticing Blue Stream Villa's additional rewards were.
