He called out for the maid at Zhou Kexin's house to help support her while he assisted Hua Lingwei. The maid beside them looked on in shock at their young lady. She had always been cold towards men; at 20 years old, they had never heard of her liking any boy. Now she was astonished to see their noble young lady throwing herself into a boy's arms and confessing her feelings.
"You’re drunk," Chen Haoxuan said to Zhou Kexin.
"I am not drunk; what I said is true. From the day I pretended to like you, I started to genuinely like you. At first, it wasn't that deep, but when you almost died saving me in the river, I completely fell in love with you, Chen Haoxuan. I like you, I love you. Promise me, be my boyfriend!" Zhou Kexin gazed affectionately at Chen Haoxuan.
Chen Haoxuan deliberately changed the subject. He called out to Zhou Kexin's family's maid, "Auntie, please help me support her back to her room. I can barely hold both of them up." Zhou Kexin and Hua Lingwei were practically hanging on him. Despite being girls, together they weighed over two hundred pounds; how could he not be exhausted?
The maid listened to Chen Haoxuan and moved to support Zhou Kexin, but Zhou Kexin refused to let go. She clung tightly to Chen Haoxuan and wouldn't budge. Hua Lingwei was the most comfortable, leaning against Chen Haoxuan's chest, sound asleep with a smile occasionally appearing on her lips, perhaps dreaming sweet dreams.
At that moment, Zhang Ruolan was strolling in the garden and happened to pass by the entrance. Seeing her daughter clinging to Chen Haoxuan made her smile because her daughter had finally developed feelings for a boy and she no longer had to worry about her being a lesbian. "Aunt Wang, let's help Vivi to Zhou Kexin's room together," Zhang Ruolan said to Aunt Wang before turning back to Chen Haoxuan. "Xuan! You take Zhou Kexin back to her room!" It was clear that Zhang Ruolan wanted to matchmake Chen Haoxuan and Zhou Kexin. She had heard from her husband about Chen Haoxuan and felt he was a very ambitious person; just judging by his recent business dealings in the countryside showed his capabilities.
Zhang Ruolan and Aunt Wang helped Hua Lingwei to Zhou Kexin's room, leaving Zhou Kexin and Chen Haoxuan at the entrance. Chen Haoxuan helplessly turned to Zhou Kexin and said, "Let me help you back to your room!"
"I won't go until you agree to be my boyfriend!" Zhou Kexin insisted, seemingly determined to gain Chen Haoxuan's acknowledgment today.
"Although we've known each other for two months, we've only spent a week or two together at most. In such a short time—you've fallen for me? Aren't you afraid I'll think you're a very casual girl?" Chen Haoxuan replied helplessly.

As Zhou Kexin spoke, tears began streaming down her face; her tears were honest—she truly loved Chen Haoxuan.
"I know you like me, but the problem is that I don't know much about you!" Chen Haoxuan replied helplessly. It wasn't that he didn't like beautiful girls; he simply didn't want to pursue someone he didn't love. He wanted to find someone he liked so that they could share genuine happiness together.
