"If you deliberately stay by my side every day, I won't be able to see the real you. I think it's better to let things happen naturally. If we are meant to be, who knows, I might actually come to like you," Chen Haoxuan joked.

"You're so annoying," Zhou Kexin pouted playfully, giving Chen Haoxuan a light slap on the chest.
"Alright, alright! I'll help you back to your room," Chen Haoxuan said to Zhou Kexin.
"No, I want you to carry me back to my room; otherwise, I'm not going back," Zhou Kexin insisted sweetly. Perhaps due to the alcohol she had consumed, she felt unusually bold today. In the past, she would have found it hard to say such things; now it seemed so natural for her.
"Okay then! My dear lady," Chen Haoxuan said as he picked up Zhou Kexin and walked toward the house.
Zhou Kexin wrapped her arms around Chen Haoxuan's neck and rested her head against his chest. With her eyes closed, she listened to his heartbeat and felt his warmth. At that moment, she felt incredibly happy and wished time could freeze right there; she would be willing to give anything for that.
Zhou Kexin's family villa was quite large; after all, her father was the richest man in New City, so they wouldn't live in a small house. It took Chen Haoxuan five minutes to carry Zhou Kexin to her room. When they entered, Zhou Kexin's mother and Aunt Wang were still in the room. "I spent the day chatting and drinking with her, and now you want me to stay and sleep with her? Am I becoming a full-time companion?" Chen Haoxuan joked back, gently separating Zhou Kexin's fingers one by one. After that, he tenderly covered Zhou Kexin with a blanket.
Watching the peacefully sleeping Zhou Kexin and Hua Lingwei, Chen Haoxuan couldn't help but smile helplessly. They both fell asleep in his arms; was it really that comfortable lying there, so much so that they drifted off without realizing it?
"Xuan, come on, let's go to the living room and have a good chat," Zhang Ruolan beckoned to Chen Haoxuan softly.
Chen Haoxuan stepped out of Zhou Kexin's room. Since there was a nanny at Zhou Kexin's house, he didn't need to stay behind to take care of her. Zhang Ruolan led Chen Haoxuan to the living room, where Aunt Wang had prepared two cups of coffee for them before heading to the kitchen to make ginger soup for Zhou Kexin and the others.
After taking a sip of coffee, Zhang Ruolan smiled at Chen Haoxuan and said, "Xuan! I'm sure you can see that our Zhou Kexin really likes you. Both her father and I are very pleased with you. If you could be with Zhou Kexin, we would be very happy. I wonder if you like our Zhou Kexin?"

Chen Haoxuan hailed a taxi back home. When he arrived at his place, Yang Lin and the others had already left, and Chen Yina was washing dishes.
Chen Haoxuan comfortably lay on the sofa and called out loudly to Chen Yina, who was washing dishes, "Nana, hurry up! I have something great to give you."

Once Chen Yina had cleaned the dishes, she ran over to sit beside Chen Haoxuan, looking at him with eager eyes and said, "What is it? Hurry up and show me!"
Chen Haoxuan pointed to a small bottle on the tea table and smiled, "Look, what do you think that is?"
Chen Yina picked up the small bottle from the table. It was an ordinary little bottle, and she had expected Chen Haoxuan to give her something special! She muttered softly, "So it's just a small bottle."
