Chen Haoxuan now lives very close to New City University, so he no longer needs to ride his bicycle. He walks alongside Chen Yina, and if given the choice, she would prefer to live in their old, shabby Tile House. Living there would mean that Chen Haoxuan could ride his bicycle to take her, allowing her to hold tightly onto him and lean against his sturdy back.
Upon arriving at school and entering Class Eight of the Business Administration department, Chen Haoxuan immediately noticed Zhou Kexin arguing with a female student from the class.

After hearing the chubby girl's words, Chen Haoxuan initially intended to enter the teacher's office but turned around and walked away instead. He recognized the chubby girl as Sun Yan, a tough girl who could even intimidate Yang Lin when she was angry. As for her appearance, it wasn't that Chen Haoxuan had high standards; it was just that she looked quite unappealing—big head, small eyes, large nostrils, thick lips... Seeing Chen Haoxuan arrive, Sun Yan straightforwardly declared loudly, "Chen Haoxuan, I like you."
Chen Haoxuan could only respond with a wry smile and said, "Uh... thanks."
The students in the class burst into laughter. If a beautiful girl confessed her feelings to Chen Haoxuan, it would be normal; they would only envy him and not laugh. But for someone like Sun Yan to confess made them unable to hold back their laughter.
Seeing everyone in the class laughing at her, Sun Yan became furious. With her hands on her hips, she shouted angrily, "What are you laughing at? Have you never seen a girl confess to a boy? Hmph!"
"See! I told you Chen Haoxuan wouldn't like someone like you! You should go back and look in the mirror to reflect on why Chen Haoxuan doesn't like you," Zhou Kexin said triumphantly to Sun Yan.
"What good is being pretty if Chen Haoxuan doesn't like you? Hmph, you're just a vase," Sun Yan retorted loudly at Zhou Kexin.
Having been pursuing He Haoming to gain Zhou Kexin's approval, he stepped in and shouted at Sun Yan: "Sun Yan, if you keep insulting Zhou Kexin, do you believe I can find someone to take you down? Damn it."
"Come at me if you can! I'm scared of you! Being rich is impressive, huh...!" Sun Yan had a talent for cursing that left the students of Class Eight feeling inferior.
Chen Haoxuan disliked watching others argue; it annoyed him, so he took Chen Yina's hand and left the classroom, with Zhou Kexin following behind.
For her, He Haoming had argued with the female bully, and now it was clear that Zhou Kexin was ungrateful, not even glancing at him as she walked off with another man. He Haoming felt furious! If Zhou Kexin weren't the daughter of the Zhou Group, if she weren't beautiful, he would definitely have crushed this flower.
"Hey—, Chen Haoxuan, where are you going?" called out Zhou Kexin, following behind him.
Without turning back, Chen Haoxuan replied, "Library." With his intelligence, as long as he had the materials, he could learn on his own without anyone teaching him.
"Brother Xuan, you should go by yourself! I won't go; I'm worried the teacher will call my name," said Chen Yina, stopping in her tracks. She was an exemplary student and unlike Chen Haoxuan, she hadn't seen him attend class much since his memory loss.
"Then you go ahead! Call me on my phone if anything comes up," said Chen Haoxuan, waving at Chen Yina.
With her gone, the happiest person was Zhou Kexin, as this meant she could be alone with Chen Haoxuan. She quickened her pace to walk alongside him. In a sweet voice, she asked, "Chen Haoxuan, I heard from Aunt Wang that you talked with my mom for a long time yesterday. What did you two discuss?"
"Not much, just some business matters," replied Chen Haoxuan lightly.
"I don't believe you. You must have talked about something else with my mom, and it definitely wasn't business," Zhou Kexin said angrily. In truth, she was pretending; she knew what her mother had discussed with Chen Haoxuan yesterday because her mother had told her. She just wanted to see Chen Haoxuan's reaction, but she didn't expect him to be so dismissive.
"Believe it or not, it doesn't matter. By the way, as a class monitor, why are you out here? Aren't you afraid the teacher will give you a demerit?" Chen Haoxuan replied.
"Not at all! Not to mention the teacher wouldn't dare give me a demerit; even the principal wouldn't, because my dad knows a lot of people in power, so they don't have the guts," Zhou Kexin said proudly. This was what it meant to bully others with one's influence.
When they arrived at the library, Chen Haoxuan stored his bag in a locker at the entrance and then walked into the library. He headed straight for the section on technology, wanting to learn about modern electronic software to see if he could create some high-tech products.
Zhou Kexin wasn't there to study; she was like a shadow, following Chen Haoxuan wherever he went. Zhou Kexin was the campus belle of New City University, and there were countless boys who secretly admired her. Right now, many boys were deliberately finding books near her.
Chen Haoxuan found the books he needed and held them close, gradually accumulating more and more until he unknowingly had over thirty books in his arms.
"Chen Haoxuan, are you really going to read all those books?" Zhou Kexin asked curiously.
"You'll find out soon enough whether I can finish them," Chen Haoxuan replied with a mysterious smile.
Feeling satisfied with his collection, Chen Haoxuan brought the books to a table and sat down to read. His reading speed wasn't particularly frightening; he simply turned a page every couple of seconds. The reason he could read so quickly was that he understood much of the content in the books, combined with his super brain's ability to absorb information rapidly—making it hard not to read quickly.
