It was evident that she didn't dislike him; in fact, she seemed to like him.
Chen Haoxuan noticed the relationship between Ma Yichen and Zhang Beining. He smiled and said, "You two chat; I'm going to find something to read."
After selecting a few e-books, Chen Haoxuan left the library. By the time he returned to the classroom, class had already started, so he decided to go to the lawn in front of the teaching building and took out a cigar to smoke.
Yang Lin seemed to have caught the scent of smoke and ran over to Chen Haoxuan's side, plopping down beside him. He reached out for a cigar and said, "Xuan, let me have one of those cigars."
Seeing Yang Lin, Chen Haoxuan curiously asked, "How did you know I was here?" He then pulled out another cigar and handed it to Yang Lin.
"At New City University, you're the only one who smokes such expensive cigars! So I followed the scent of your cigar smoke here. Hehe... It's been a while since I've had one of your cigars; I've really missed it," Yang Lin joked.
"You must be part dog! You can smell it from that far away," Chen Haoxuan teased back.
"Hehe... It's a natural talent; don't be jealous. By the way, I haven't seen you in a long time. How's everything going for you now?" Yang Lin asked Chen Haoxuan.
"Not bad, I recently developed an All-Purpose Phone, and I'm currently collaborating with Zhang Tianqi. It will take some time to make money; I need to wait until the All-Purpose Phone is sold to earn any profit. However, I borrowed ten million from Zhang Tianqi to keep in my pocket, heh heh... I bought a BMW worth over a million and built a Luxury Villa at home," Chen Haoxuan said proudly.
Yang Lin punched Chen Haoxuan in the chest and laughed, "Wow! In just half a month since we last met—you've become a real tycoon, driving a BMW, living in a villa, and having millions in assets."
Chen Haoxuan suddenly turned serious and said to Yang Lin, "Yang Lin, if you seriously work with me, I will definitely not treat you poorly. Don't just think about buying a BMW or living in a villa; if you have the ability, I could even gift you a small island. Becoming a Billionaire wouldn't be a problem. Don't doubt my capabilities or think I'm bragging; you'll see my abilities in a few years."
Yang Lin was taken aback by Chen Haoxuan's confidence and ambition. If Chen Haoxuan wanted to become a Billionaire, that was normal; at least he had such aspirations. But for Chen Haoxuan to want his subordinates to become Billionaires meant he himself would be extraordinarily wealthy. Yang Lin believed that ordinary people wouldn't have such grand ambitions, and Chen Haoxuan's ambition indicated that he would surely hold a high position in the future.
"Then I'll wait for that day," Yang Lin replied with a smile. He somewhat believed Chen Haoxuan because his development speed was astonishing. Just two months ago, he was still broke and even took odd jobs washing dishes at restaurants. But now he was driving a BMW, living in a Luxury Villa, and his net worth had skyrocketed to millions. Chen Haoxuan and Yang Lin chatted while smoking cigars on the lawn until class ended, at which point Chen Haoxuan left. Yang Lin stubbornly followed Chen Haoxuan back to Class Eight, citing the same reason: there were many beautiful girls in Class Eight.
Chen Haoxuan had promised Chen Yina that he would accompany her to school, so he wouldn't break his word. When Chen Yina saw Chen Haoxuan return in the afternoon for her class, she pulled him outside; she wanted to be alone with him. With Chen Haoxuan gone, what was the point of attending class? Zhou Kexin naturally called Hua Lingwei out; she was used to it and always brought Hua Lingwei along when going out since childhood. However, when Hua Lingwei arrived, she felt jealous seeing how well Hua Lingwei got along with Chen Haoxuan; they seemed to have endless things to talk about.
In the school's garden, Hua Lingwei smiled at Chen Haoxuan and said, "Chen Haoxuan, I've heard you developed the world's most advanced phone. Can you give me one? I really want one!"
Hua Lingwei had helped Chen Haoxuan before, so he certainly wouldn't refuse her request. He smiled and replied, "Of course! But it will take a few days before I can give it to you because I don't have one right now."
Hua Lingwei pointed at Chen Haoxuan's pocket and playfully said, "Don't you have one in your pocket? Just give me that!"
Chen Haoxuan looked at Hua Lingwei with desire, so he took out his phone and handed it to her, saying, "I'll give you my phone, and you give me yours in return! Otherwise, if someone calls me, I won't even know."
Hua Lingwei seemed lost in thought, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue. She was sitting across from Chen Haoxuan, originally wanting to sit next to him, but his side was occupied by Zhou Kexin and Chen Yina. Slowly, she took out her own phone and swapped her SIM card with Chen Haoxuan's. After securing the card in place, she shyly handed it to him, blushing as she said, "Here."
Zhou Kexin's eyes revealed a look of envy. Why hadn't she thought of this move? If she had asked Chen Haoxuan for his phone, he would have certainly given it to her. Swapping phones felt like exchanging tokens of affection.
