She had just seen Chen Yina take out the same phone as Chen Haoxuan during class, and she was sure that it was the All-Purpose Phone. At that moment, Ma Yichen saw Chen Haoxuan stand up and walk towards the restroom deep in the garden while Zhou Kexin and the others stayed behind. "Chen Haoxuan, can we talk? I want to ask you some questions," Ma Yichen said awkwardly.
Since Chen Haoxuan had nothing else to do, he nodded in agreement. "Of course."
"Let's go over there to talk!" Ma Yichen mysteriously pulled Chen Haoxuan aside, leading him to a small pavilion.
Ma Yichen spoke up, "Chen Haoxuan, you should know I've been pursuing Zhang Beining for a long time, right?"
Chen Haoxuan awkwardly smiled and replied, "I'm sorry, I didn't know. I don't even know who you are." He was being honest; he truly didn't recognize Ma Yichen, who was also known as a Campus Heartthrob.
Ma Yichen's face fell; he felt embarrassed that Chen Haoxuan claimed not to know him. After all, he was the young master of Qihang Group and also a Campus Heartthrob at New City University, ranking just behind Chen Haoxuan. How could Chen Haoxuan not know him? However, seeing Chen Haoxuan's expression made him think that perhaps he wasn't lying; maybe it was because he kept a low profile that Chen Haoxuan didn't recognize him.
"My name is Ma Yichen, the young master of Qihang Group, a junior in college. You should know me by now," Ma Yichen introduced himself.
"Since you've introduced yourself, how could I not know you? I don't need to introduce myself because you called my name the first time we met. I believe you should know quite a bit about me. So, did you bring me here for something important that you need my help with?" Chen Haoxuan asked.
"Yes, it's something related to my lifelong affairs. I've been pursuing Zhang Beining for a long time, but she has never agreed to be my girlfriend. I want to ask you how to make a girl fall in love with you," Ma Yichen said earnestly.
Chen Haoxuan was taken aback; he thought Ma Yichen had something significant to discuss! He didn't expect it to be about how to attract girls, which left him both amused and helpless. He might excel at research and business, but when it came to dating, he had no experience since girls usually pursued him, just like Zhou Kexin and her friends did now.
"Hehe... if I told you I've never pursued a girl, would you believe me?" Chen Haoxuan laughed.
Ma Yichen shook his head naturally and said, "I don't believe it. If you've never pursued a girl, then how could Zhou Kexin and the others like you? Just look at how much they adore you, always surrounding you."
"The fact that they like me is their business; I've never intentionally made them like me. As for why they like me, I really don't understand," Chen Haoxuan explained.
Ma Yichen placed his hands on Chen Haoxuan's shoulders and pleaded, "Big brother, can I call you that? Please teach me! As long as you tell me how to win a woman's heart, I'll give you one hundred thousand Renminbi. What do you say?"
Today at the library, Chen Haoxuan sensed that Zhang Beining liked Ma Yichen. As for why she hadn't agreed to be Ma Yichen's girlfriend yet, he didn't know. Chen Haoxuan went to the bathroom, worried that if he held it in any longer, he might get sick.
That evening, Chen Haoxuan and Chen Yina were alone in the house. He felt that Chen Yina was becoming bolder; she actually appeared in front of him wearing a sexy nightgown, clearly trying to seduce him.
Chen Yina sat next to Chen Haoxuan, hugging his arm and leaning her body against him. "Brother Xuan, do you think this nightgown looks good on me?"
"It looks good," Chen Haoxuan replied, his eyes glued to the television. He didn't even need to look closely to know that the nightgown was sheer because only such nightgowns could be so thin. With her arms wrapped around his, Chen Yina's curves pressed against his arm, making it feel as if she were wearing nothing at all. The sensation was indescribable, and Chen Haoxuan felt like he was about to have a nosebleed.
"Brother Xuan, you aren't even looking," Chen Yina pouted playfully, shaking his arm. This little shake felt like he was caressing her curves.
Suddenly, Chen Haoxuan quickly grabbed a few tissues from the coffee table and pressed them to his nose. "I might have a cold; I'm a bit stuffy. I’ll go to the bathroom," he said before rushing off.
It wasn't a stuffy nose at all! He was having a nosebleed. As a normal man, how could he withstand such temptation from Chen Yina? If she pushed just a little more, he might lose control completely.
Once in the bathroom, Chen Haoxuan turned on the faucet and leaned under the running water, hoping to cool down the heat rising within him. After a while, he lifted his head and looked at himself in the mirror, muttering to himself, "When did Nana learn to seduce people? She almost took my life."
