At noon, Chen Haoxuan and Ma Yichen returned to New City University. "Zhang Beining goes to the cafeteria at this time every day, so let's wait for him here!" Ma Yichen said to Chen Haoxuan.
"Yeah," Chen Haoxuan replied, sitting on the lawn and taking out a cigar to smoke.

Seeing Ma Yichen's current outfit, Zhang Beining's eyes lit up. She liked this kind of boy who gave off a natural vibe. "Oh—why are you dressed like this now?" Zhang Beining asked curiously. She had known Ma Yichen for many years, but this was the first time she had seen him in casual clothes.
"Because you like it! I'm willing to change for you," Ma Yichen said, looking deeply into Zhang Beining's eyes with tenderness.
Zhang Beining playfully tapped Ma Yichen's chest and laughed, "Stop being so cheesy! I know what kind of person you are! You can change for a day; can you change for a lifetime?"
Ma Yichen suddenly grabbed Zhang Beining's hand that was tapping his chest and said seriously, "I can! Absolutely! Just like how I've liked you for so many years without changing."
As he spoke, Ma Yichen took out a beautifully crafted small bottle from his pocket and handed it to Zhang Beining. "This is a bottle of perfume; I guarantee you'll love this scent."
"What scent is it?" Curious, Zhang Beining reached for the bottle to open it.
Ma Yichen stopped Zhang Beining and said, "Wait, open it after I leave. I'm worried you might get too excited and kiss me."
"Go to hell! Who would want to kiss you?" Zhang Beining laughed and scolded Ma Yichen.
After Ma Yichen and Chen Haoxuan left, Zhang Beining couldn't wait to open the perfume bottle. As soon as she opened it, a faint fragrance wafted into her nose. "It smells so good!" Zhang Beining closed her eyes, savoring the delicate aroma.
Chen Haoxuan and Ma Yichen walked toward the school gate; they were going out for a meal. On the way, Ma Yichen couldn't help but ask Chen Haoxuan, "Chen Haoxuan, is this really okay?"
"Is my idea not good? Unless your character is really bad," Chen Haoxuan replied confidently.
"But she's a rich young lady. If I keep giving her these little things every day, won't she think I'm stingy?" Ma Yichen expressed his concerns.
"Of course not! Girls love cute things. If you give her some cute and unique gifts every day, she'll definitely remember you. If one day you stop giving her gifts, she'll come looking for you. At that point, you can confess your feelings to her, and I guarantee it will be successful," Chen Haoxuan explained.
"Let's hope so!"
Ma Yichen, being wealthy, took Chen Haoxuan to a five-star hotel. He ordered a large variety of delicacies and even hired dancers and singers for entertainment. Seeing so many exquisite dishes made Chen Haoxuan regret not bringing Chen Yina along. He started thinking about whether he could pack some food to take home when he left.
Ma Yichen was a typical rich person; he ate little and drank little but loved to order a lot of expensive delicacies. Chen Haoxuan's appetite was small, and they had only eaten a bit before feeling full. On the way back, Chen Haoxuan shamelessly mentioned wanting to take some food home, which nearly made Ma Yichen drop to the floor in shock. When Chen Haoxuan returned home, he saw a scene similar to before: Chen Yina was staring blankly at the dishes on the table. "Nana, I'm back! I brought you something delicious," Chen Haoxuan called out.
Hearing Chen Haoxuan's voice, Chen Yina immediately stood up and happily said, "Brother Xuan, you're back!"
"Yeah, Ma Yichen just treated me to a meal at a five-star restaurant where the food was even better than what I make. So I brought some back for my Nana to try," Chen Haoxuan smiled as he spoke.
"Well, I knew that Brother Xuan cares about me the most. He always thinks of me when there's something delicious," Chen Yina said happily, and that's why she loved him so deeply.
"I only have you as my sister. If I don't care for you, who else would I care for?" Chen Haoxuan replied with a smile.
Chen Haoxuan said something he shouldn't have. Chen Yina didn't like it when he called her his sister. "Brother Xuan, I've told you before, don't call me your sister anymore. I don't want to be your sister."
"You can't help it! You're younger than me," Chen Haoxuan said.
Chen Yina pouted, angrily nibbling on the delicacies that Chen Haoxuan had brought back. She felt that they tasted terrible because she was in a bad mood; nothing seemed flavorful to her. If Chen Haoxuan had said he liked her, even plain food would have tasted like a feast.
"This bottle of red wine is sweet; you should have some," Chen Haoxuan said as he poured a little red wine into a goblet for Chen Yina.
Chen Yina picked it up and drank; she seemed to want to get drunk and forget everything.
"Nana, drink slowly. You could easily get drunk like this," Chen Haoxuan said with concern.
"If you stop calling me your sister in the future, I won't do this anymore. Otherwise, I'll drink as much as I want today. If you don't let me drink, I'll go outside to drink, hmph," Chen Yina said defiantly.
