Hua Lingwei's skills were not great, but she was very serious about it and carefully worked on every part she carved.
After finishing a Great Wisdom Manjushri Bodhisattva sculpture, Chen Haoxuan heard Chen Yina calling him. He knew she was calling him to cook. He put down his carving tools and reminded Zhou Kexin and the others, “Make sure not to touch this pagoda; if you break it—I’m done for.”
“Don’t worry; I’ll keep an eye on Vivi for you,” Zhou Kexin smiled at Chen Haoxuan.
Hua Lingwei looked up and complained to Zhou Kexin, “Who would touch it? Do you think I would go mess with it? Hmph.”
"Last time you took your carving tools to sculpt the pagoda.
