Next to Chen Haoxuan, Chen Yina covered her mouth and chuckled. She knew why her mother said that; it was because the acne on her face was gone, which is why her mother didn't recognize her.

"Xuan, you're amazing for finding such a beautiful girlfriend," a woman sitting under a tree said to Chen Haoxuan.
Hearing their comments, Chen Yina laughed even louder.
Li Ping noticed the girl next to Chen Haoxuan laughing continuously and frowned. She thought to herself, "Why is this girl so rude? Not only does she not greet anyone, but she keeps laughing. Is something wrong with her?"
Seeing that Chen Yina was still laughing, Chen Haoxuan couldn't help but nudge her and said seriously, "Nana, if you're still laughing, hurry up and explain to your mom."
Chen Yina smiled and said to her mother, "Mom, it's me! I'm Nana."
Upon hearing the familiar voice, Li Ping exclaimed in surprise, "You—you're really Nana? How did you change so much? What happened to the acne on your face?" Li Ping ran over to her daughter and examined her closely. She truly couldn't believe that her daughter could look like this.
Chen Yina held her mother's hand and smiled, saying, "Mom, it's me! My acne has been treated, so I look like this now! How do I look—good or not?"
Li Ping nodded eagerly and said happily, "You look great...!" She was genuinely thrilled to see her daughter's appearance; she no longer had to worry about her daughter not being able to get married.
Chen Xiumin's mother often came to visit Li Ping; today she came to help Li Ping. Seeing Chen Haoxuan and the others, she couldn't help but joke, "Xuan, are you carrying so many gifts because you're planning to propose?"
"He is my sister..." Just as Chen Haoxuan was about to say that she was his sister, he suddenly remembered what Chen Yina had said. So he changed his words and replied, "Don't talk nonsense; these are for treating my aunt and them."
“Xuan, why don't you come to my house to propose? I’ll marry my daughter off to you,” Chen Xiumin's Mother joked.
“Your daughter is so lovely; are you worried she won't find a husband?” Chen Haoxuan replied with a wry smile.
Chen Yina turned to Chen Haoxuan and said, “Brother Xuan, let’s take the things inside! It’s tiring to carry them like this.”
Chen Haoxuan and Chen Yina took the gifts inside. After putting them down, Chen Yina pulled her mother’s hand and headed toward her room. “Mom, come here for a moment; I need to talk to you.”
Understanding the hint, Chen Haoxuan left. He figured that Chen Yina and her mother wanted to discuss something they didn’t want him to hear, so he decided to go back home and check on Li Botao and the others.
Chen Yina brought her mother into her room and sat on the edge of the bed. She seriously asked her mother, “Mom, what do you think of Brother Xuan?”
“Xuan? He’s really great—kind, smart, and very caring. He’s a rare good man. Wait a minute! Why are you suddenly asking me this? He’s with you every day; don’t you know what kind of person he is?” Li Ping asked curiously.
“I—I know. I just wanted to hear your opinion about Brother Xuan. Mom, if I said I liked Brother Xuan, would you oppose it?” Chen Yina said shyly, looking down.
Li Ping smiled happily. In the past, she might not have wanted her daughter to marry Chen Haoxuan, but now it was different. Her daughter had grown into a beautiful woman who truly deserved someone like Chen Haoxuan. Plus, they were childhood sweethearts who had grown up together; they were very familiar with each other. If they could become a couple, they would definitely be happy.
Li Ping said excitedly, “Of course I wouldn’t oppose! Not only would I not oppose it, but even your dad wouldn’t oppose it because we had already planned to betroth you to Xuan.”
Hearing Li Ping's words, Chen Yina jumped into her mother's arms joyfully. “Thank you, Mom! You’re so good to me.”
Li Ping stroked her daughter's hair and asked, “Nana, does Xuan like you?” Li Ping could tell that Chen Haoxuan regarded her daughter as a sister, but she couldn’t see whether he loved her.
“I don’t know. He always says he sees me as a sister. Mom, I really don’t want to be his sister; I want to marry him. What should I do?” Chen Yina asked her mother in distress.
“Does he know that you like him?” Li Ping inquired.
Chen Yina nodded and said, "Yes, I confessed to him, and he only replied that he has always seen me as a sister. Later, when I pressed him, he said he would consider it."
"Nana, listen to your mother. To win a man's heart, you must touch him and make him realize he can't live without you. Xuan is a kind child; if you treat him well, he will gradually fall in love with you," Li Ping advised.
"But—I don't have time! There are two school beauties at our school who are constantly clinging to Brother Xuan. They are not only school beauties but also daughters of wealthy families. I'm worried Brother Xuan will be taken away by them," Chen Yina said anxiously.
Li Ping frowned and said, "That's a tough situation. The only way is to disrupt their contact with Xuan; that way, you'll have more opportunities."
If Chen Haoxuan heard what Li Ping and Zhou Xiang were saying, he would surely sigh and say, "In this era, it's not easy to be a good man! Everyone is scheming against you."
On Chen Haoxuan's side, he returned to his villa and saw Li Botao and Li Jun watering the plants in the garden. Chen Haoxuan called out, "Li Botao, Li Jun, I'm back!"
When Li Botao and Li Jun saw Chen Haoxuan return, they immediately put down the watering hose and ran over to him. Li Jun happily said, "Boss Chen, you're back! We were about to miss you to death."
"Boss Chen, can you take us to New City too? It's so boring here! Besides watering the plants in the garden and watching over the villa every day, we have nothing else to do. It's so dull," Li Botao complained.

Lin Hao is still lying in the hospital!
