Hearing Leah's words, He Haoming kept repeating two words in his mind: "It's over, it's over..." He was now filled with hatred for Chen Haoxuan. The girl he had always liked, Zhou Kexin, had fallen for Chen Haoxuan, and now Leah, the girl he liked, had also fallen for Chen Haoxuan. This left him feeling utterly despondent. "He’s really not a good person; he’s involved in shady dealings, extortion, murder, and arson—he's done every kind of evil. If you get involved with him, he’ll sell you off to become a prostitute..." He Haoming kept trying to persuade Leah.
Leah rolled her eyes at He Haoming and retorted playfully, "Do you think I’m three years old? Do you really think I would believe that? Does he look like someone who needs money? Why would he resort to shady dealings and extortion? He’s a billionaire! He has more than enough money; why would he do anything that would ruin his reputation? You say he kills and burns; tell me, who has he killed? You say he's done terrible things—what exactly has he done?"
"Isn't he doing it right now?" He Haoming shouted at Leah while pointing at Chen Haoxuan not far away. He was genuinely angry; if Leah weren’t the daughter of the president of American Soaring Group, he might have slapped her.
"He's teaching bad people a lesson; he's doing good," Leah defended Chen Haoxuan.
"Alright, alright, you like him, huh? Then go ahead and book a room with him! Let’s see if he even acknowledges you," He Haoming said in frustration.
"Fine! I will!" Leah huffed and quickly walked toward Chen Haoxuan.
He Haoming watched as Leah swayed her curvy hips toward Chen Haoxuan and couldn’t help but curse under his breath: "Damn it, she'll end up getting hurt by men sooner or later."
He Haoming left; he didn’t want to see the girl he liked fall into another man's arms.
Chen Haoxuan was expressionlessly watching Zhu Tian beat up his own subordinate when he suddenly felt someone running towards him. He turned his head and immediately frowned. He coldly asked the newcomer, "What are you doing here?"
"What did you say?" Leah, who had approached Chen Haoxuan, asked curiously. Since Chen Haoxuan had just spoken in Mandarin, she couldn't understand.
Chen Haoxuan said to Kong Manni, "Tell her I hate speaking English. If she wants to talk to me, she should learn Mandarin."
As Kong Manni's boss, she had to follow his orders, so she translated Chen Haoxuan's words into English for Leah.
After hearing Kong Manni's translation, Leah said to Chen Haoxuan, "I want you to be my boyfriend." Foreigners are known for being open-minded, and rich young ladies are no exception.
"Tell her I already have a girlfriend and she should give up on that idea," Chen Haoxuan instructed Kong Manni.
Kong Manni curiously asked Chen Haoxuan, "Aren't you single?"
"My girlfriend is Chen Yina," Chen Haoxuan explained.
"Alright!" Upon hearing that Chen Haoxuan had a girlfriend, Kong Manni's eyes instantly lost their previous sparkle. Although she didn't love him, she had a good impression of him and admired his hacking skills and high intelligence. She felt as if something that belonged to her had been taken away.
Kong Manni translated Chen Haoxuan's words into English for Leah. After listening, Leah did not show any surprise. Being from the United States, she knew that most young men there had dated several girls before. She raised her head and seriously said to Chen Haoxuan, "I don't recommend you having a girlfriend, but I need you to promise me that only I can marry you."
"Idiot," Chen Haoxuan shot Leah a glance and walked away. He was speaking the truth; he really doubted if Leah was an idiot. They had only known each other for a few hours, and she was already confessing her feelings and asking him to marry her. He was speechless; being open-minded didn't mean it should go this far!
Seeing Chen Haoxuan leave, Kong Manni quickly followed him. After all, he had promised to treat them to lunch; if he ran away, they would miss out on a free meal.
"Hey, hey..." Leah shouted loudly at Chen Haoxuan, but he seemed not to hear and continued walking ahead.
Leah stomped her foot in frustration and said, "I'm so mad! How dare you treat me like this, humph, you're a bad guy."
Chen Haoxuan walked away, and Zhu Tian's Lackeys helped each other up and fled in the opposite direction. They really needed to thank Leah; if it weren't for her appearance, they might have suffered even more.
Leah was fed up. She wanted to go back to her place, but she realized she didn't know how to get back and didn't even know the name of her residence. She only knew the company of He Haoming's family. She didn't want to look for He Haoming, so she thought about just finding Chen Haoxuan and having him take her back.
When Chen Haoxuan brought Kong Manni and the others to the cafeteria at school, Chen Yina and the others had already arrived. They had even prepared a rich meal for Chen Haoxuan. Now Zhou Kexin chose to please Chen Yina to have more time with Chen Haoxuan, making concessions to her everywhere. As a result, her relationship with Chen Yina was much better than before.

Leah asked people all the way until she reached the cafeteria. As soon as she entered, there were many gasps of admiration from the lecherous boys in the school. Leah showed no fear; perhaps she was used to it!
Leah searched everywhere in the cafeteria for Chen Haoxuan. The cafeteria was too big and crowded, making it like searching for a needle in a haystack. In frustration, she simply shouted Chen Haoxuan's name loudly.
