The air in the village is refreshing, uplifting one's mood and making the body feel relaxed. Especially in the flat fields, the wind blowing towards him carries a faint sweetness, much like water; the purer the water, the sweeter it tastes.
Chen Haoxuan and Chen Xing chatted for a while, and feeling a bit drowsy, he lay down on the grass by the field to sleep. He had a comfortable nap. If Chen Xing hadn't woken him up when leaving, he might have slept until tomorrow.
After returning home, Chen Haoxuan continued to sleep, seemingly wanting to forget his worries through rest.
The next day, September Eighth, Chen Haoxuan stayed in his villa and began designing clothes on his computer. He wanted to create several outfits for the ten women he had previously hired. He planned to take some of these designs to Jiang Xianghan to test the market. If they were well-received, he would expand production.
It wasn't that he lacked confidence; rather, he was concerned that the clothing styles from Future Century would differ significantly from those of the 21st century. He worried that people from the 21st century might not appreciate Future Century's aesthetics. Therefore, Chen Haoxuan decided not to mass-produce initially but instead to train ten women first and now prepare to make a few samples for testing.
When designing clothes for himself, Chen Haoxuan thought about his time in Future Century. Knowing he could never return there, he wanted to create some Future Century-inspired items to ease his homesickness.
He designed two vests for himself: one for summer and one for winter. Both vests were white; initially, he considered black for a more imposing look. However, upon seeing his reflection in the mirror, he reluctantly chose white. His features were quite soft except for his striking eyes; wearing a black vest would seem awkward. In contrast, a white vest suited him perfectly, making him look like a prince charming.
Chen Haoxuan spent two hours designing his clothes. After finishing his own designs, he began working on outfits for Chen Yina and her group; as for Yang Lin and others, he wasn't in the mood to focus on them.
Designing men's clothing was challenging, but women's clothing was different. It was simpler; with good color coordination and a few pieces of fabric sewn together, it was nearly complete. The design he created for Chen Yina and her group featured off-shoulder dresses that were wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, resembling an upright triangle. The standout feature was the black belt with two silver heart-shaped buckles that he designed.
Once Chen Haoxuan finished designing his own clothes and those for Chen Yina's group, he went to Chen Yina's house where the ten women were working in a Tile House. He provided them with the design sketches and taught them how to read them and sew the garments.
Although Chen Haoxuan wasn't skilled at sewing himself, he was quite adept at explaining things verbally. Each of the ten women took responsibility for different parts of the garments, which made the process quicker. Fortunately, a few days earlier, Jiang Xianghan had sent high-quality fabrics to Chen Haoxuan's home to expedite his clothing business; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to make any of his designs today since all his available fabric was meant for making dolls.
That day, both Chen Haoxuan's and Chen Yina's outfits were completed. He took the finished garments back to his villa; however, they weren't fully finished yet as they needed embellishments. For instance, his vest required some chains on the pants and shoulders, while pockets on his chest needed golden threads...
Inside the villa, there are many tools, so he can make things by himself.
The next day, when Chen Haoxuan came out wearing a white vest, everyone who saw him couldn't help but exclaim in awe. The sleeveless vest had nine silver chains on the shoulders, and the edges of the pockets on his chest were lined with fine gold threads. The belt was black with a silver buckle, and his pants were particularly unique, featuring six pockets on each side, layered and secured with silver chains.
Both the clothing and pants were perfectly flat, without a wrinkle in sight. Coupled with Chen Haoxuan's silver arm and gold ring, along with white shoes resembling sneakers, he stood out remarkably. His demeanor changed as well; it was not one of dominance but rather an air of exceptional nobility. The term "Prince Charming" fit him perfectly.
"Wow, Brother Xuan looks so handsome!" Chen Xiumin exclaimed. She had heard that Chen Haoxuan was wearing a new outfit today and rushed over to his house. Upon seeing him, she was pleasantly surprised.
"Not that handsome; I just have a way of charming countless girls," Chen Haoxuan joked narcissistically.
"Brother Xuan, how shameless!" Chen Xiumin playfully said while drawing circles on her cheeks with her finger, giggling.
Chen Feng, who didn't have school today because it was Sunday, was beside Chen Haoxuan at that moment. Unable to contain himself, he asked, "Brother Xuan, can you get me an outfit like that?"
"That's not possible; this outfit is only for me. If you want one, I can design another set for you," Chen Haoxuan replied.
"Then I want it in white, just like yours," Chen Feng said excitedly. His build was similar to Chen Haoxuan's, and he considered that if he wore something similar, he wouldn't fall short in comparison. He imagined returning to school and captivating all the girls there.
Chen Xiumin tugged at Chen Haoxuan's hand and said sweetly, "Brother Xuan, I want one too!"
"You both can have one. Xiao Feng will get his tomorrow, and I'll give you yours now. Come on, Brother Xuan will take you to get the clothes," Chen Haoxuan said as he held Chen Xiumin's little hand and walked into the villa.
The clothes designed for Chen Yina and the others were all the same size; anyone with a similar build could wear them since the dress's feature was its adjustability—tightening the belt would make it fit perfectly.
Chen Haoxuan brought a dress prepared for Chen Yina and the others to Chen Xiumin. Chen Xiumin was very happy and couldn't wait to change into the new outfit. She pushed Chen Haoxuan out of the room and changed clothes in his room. When she finished changing and saw herself in the mirror on the wardrobe in Chen Haoxuan's room, she couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow... I look so beautiful. I wonder if Brother Xuan will like me like this."
