It is not that Chen Haoxuan does not want to cultivate the women from Chen Family Village, but rather he truly dares not to. He worries that these women, sharing the same village identity as him, might come to the factory and do nothing but eat for free. If that happens, all his employees at the Clothing Factory could be led astray by them, and he would end up suffering great losses.

Once they have learned, they could approach Chen Haoxuan; how could he possibly refuse to let them into the Clothing Factory? However, instead of making an effort to learn sewing, they come to gossip about Chen Haoxuan. It is truly pitiful and foolish; if they provoke him further, it will be even less likely for him to hire them at the Clothing Factory.
Li Ping went to find Miao Yuxiang. After locating her, Li Ping requested a lot of fabric for making clothes designed by Chen Haoxuan and also took several copies of the design drawings. Once she had everything sorted out, Li Ping sought out the women in the village. She told them that if they wanted to enter the Clothing Factory, they needed to learn how to sew on their own. As long as they learned, they could apply when there were job openings. If they failed to learn and then complained about Chen Haoxuan, she would accuse them of personal attacks.
Li Ping harbored a strong resentment towards those women who criticized Chen Haoxuan. Therefore, when she distributed the fabric and design drawings to them, she collected a deposit. If the finished clothes met the requirements, she would sell them to Chen Haoxuan; if they did not turn out well, then too bad for them!
A decent Sewing Machine costs over a thousand yuan, while a lesser one still costs several hundred yuan. Many women began to complain, demanding that Li Ping provide them with Sewing Machines and free fabric for making clothes. Their reasoning was that since there were so many surplus Sewing Machines in Chen Haoxuan's Clothing Factory, what harm would it do to lend them some? As for the fabric, they argued that it was worth very little money and promised to return both the clothes and any leftover fabric to Chen Haoxuan after finishing their work; why should they pay a deposit?
Hearing those women's demands made Li Ping feel as if she were begging them to join the Clothing Factory. She was offering them an opportunity out of kindness, yet they presented her with a long list of conditions. Angered, Li Ping turned around and left, saying as she departed, "If you want to learn how to sew on your own, come to my house for fabric and design drawings; if not, don’t bother me."
In the end, only about twenty women approached Li Ping; the others were unwilling to spend their own money on Sewing Machines and lacked confidence in their ability to learn sewing.
As a result, there were significantly fewer people speaking ill of Chen Haoxuan; however, many still claimed that his profits were going into outsiders' pockets.
On the morning of September 19th, two important figures arrived at Chen Haoxuan's doorstep: his parents. Chen Zhenghao had recovered from his illness and immediately brought his wife to Chen Haoxuan's home upon his discharge from the hospital, hoping to apologize in person.
The security guard on duty at the villa recognized Chen Zhenghao and Li Xin. They did not allow them into the villa but sent one of their colleagues to notify Chen Haoxuan while the other remained at the entrance.
Li Ping was also present; she comforted Chen Zhenghao and his wife by saying, "Don't worry; Xuan will definitely forgive you."
"Alas... I hope so!" sighed Chen Zhenghao. He felt guilty for having wronged Chen Haoxuan for so long and tortured him during that time. He truly had no confidence that Chen Haoxuan would forgive him.
During this time, Chen Haoxuan had been busy with matters related to the Clothing Factory, waking up early and going to bed late every day. Early in the morning, he was discussing Clothing Factory issues with Miao Yuxiang in the living room of the villa.
A security guard rushed into the living room and loudly said to Chen Haoxuan, "Boss, Chen Zhenghao and Li Xin are at the door. They said they want to see you." The security guard knew that Chen Zhenghao and Li Xin were Chen Haoxuan's parents, but he didn't dare to mention it in front of Chen Haoxuan because everyone had heard about his unfortunate childhood.
Chen Haoxuan turned around and told the security guard, "Tell them to go back and say I don't have time."
"Understood," the security guard replied and ran out.
The security guard who had just gone in to report quickly returned to the entrance and said to Chen Zhenghao and his wife, "Our Boss is busy and doesn't have time to see you. I'm very sorry, please go back!"

Li Ping, who was beside Chen Zhenghao, spoke to the security guard, "Tell Xuan that I’m looking for him and ask him to come out."
The security guard ran back into the villa again. After a few minutes, he quickly came out and said to Li Ping, "Aunt Ping, if you want to see our Boss, you can go in directly to find him."
Li Ping took Li Xin's hand and said to Chen Zhenghao, "Come on, I'll take you in."
However, the two security guards stationed at the entrance dared not let them in. They stretched out their hands to block Li Ping and her group. One of the security guards said, "Aunt Ping, I'm sorry. You can go in, but you can't bring them with you. This is what the Boss said; please don’t make it difficult for us."
The security guards hired by Chen Haoxuan had always been very polite to Li Ping because she treated them well. She often asked them what they liked to eat, and as long as they could name it, she would learn how to make it and cook for them. "I can go in without bringing them, but you need to let him come out. Tell him that if he doesn't come out to see his parents today, I'm going to be upset," Li Ping said playfully. She didn't want to make things difficult for the two security guards, so she didn't force her way in.
The security guard rushed into the villa again. "Boss, Aunt Ping is angry. She said if you don't meet your parents today, she will be upset."
Chen Haoxuan was furious. Li Ping's actions were forcing him to do something he disliked. He had never liked being threatened, no matter who it was. Chen Haoxuan snapped, "Tell her that I will handle my own matters, and she should take care of her own business. Also, have Jiang Dong send ten security guards to guard the entrance. Booming sounds echoed as Jiang Dong arrived with ten security guards dressed in suits. During training, they wore camouflage uniforms, but when not training or on duty, they donned suits, ties, dress shoes, and sunglasses.
