They dispersed into the crowd, and Winter Melon squeezed his way to Chen Haoxuan's side. Seeing that his companions were in position, he clenched his fist, signaling them to act.
"Ah... don't push me, don't crowd over here...!" The crowd around Chen Haoxuan suddenly became chaotic, everyone jostling and pushing each other, creating a mess.

After securing the wallet, Winter Melon got up from Chen Haoxuan and politely said, "Sorry, I didn't know who pushed me just now; that's why I bumped into you. I'm really sorry. I have something important to attend to, so I’ll be leaving now. Bye."
Chen Haoxuan had just seen with his own eyes that this short young man stole his wallet; how could he let him leave? He quickly pushed himself off the ground and sprang up like a spring. He swiftly grabbed the young man's hand, regardless of anything else. With his right hand gripping the young man's wrist and his left hand applying pressure, there was a crack as Chen Haoxuan broke the young man's hand.
"Ah..." Winter Melon let out a miserable scream.
Li De and his companions were in a nearby high-rise building. They had binoculars that allowed them to see Chen Haoxuan's position clearly. He noticed several people in the crowd suddenly pushing those around them simultaneously and immediately instructed his subordinates to take pictures of those individuals while sending others to apprehend them.
When Li De saw through the binoculars that Chen Haoxuan was fighting with a short young man, he smiled, knowing that Chen Haoxuan's plan had succeeded.
"Why aren't you coming over to help?" Winter Melon shouted loudly at his companions. He realized that Chen Haoxuan had discovered he was the one who stole his wallet but was unaware that Chen Haoxuan had come with the police to catch them.
Winter Melon's companions rushed towards Chen Haoxuan, trying to rescue their friend. Meanwhile, to prevent Winter Melon from escaping, Chen Haoxuan kneed Winter Melon's leg and pressed down forcefully. Winter Melon had no choice but to kneel on one knee. Then, Chen Haoxuan raised his right foot and kicked hard at Winter Melon's leg with a thud; it seemed like no bones were broken. "Ah..." Winter Melon screamed again in agony.
Chen Haoxuan's brutality frightened the five young men who wanted to help Winter Melon. They stopped two meters away from Chen Haoxuan, looking at him with panic in their eyes.
"Are you all in cahoots with him?" Chen Haoxuan asked the five young men standing in front of him.
"Let our brother go, or we won't hold back," one of the braver youths shouted at Chen Haoxuan.
"You think you can bully me with numbers?" Chen Haoxuan sneered.
"So what if we do? I advise you to release our brother quickly, or you'll find that living is worse than dying," one of the youths threatened Chen Haoxuan.
"Oh, but it seems I have more people than you!" Chen Haoxuan grinned. As soon as he finished speaking, Li De's subordinates rushed out, and with twenty police officers on the scene, the five youths lost all courage to resist.
The five youths and Winter Melon were handcuffed by the police and squatted in the center of the square, surrounded by twenty officers.
Li De's smile was radiant; Chen Haoxuan had just captured six thieves, which was certainly a reason for celebration. At least he wouldn't have to endure constant scolding from the mayor for failing to catch even one thief.
"Xuan, as expected of a billionaire, your moves are truly exceptional," Li De said as he approached Chen Haoxuan, raising his thumb in admiration.
"If you had personally taken action, you could have caught them too. It's just a pity you're too busy to deal with these thieves; otherwise, they wouldn't have been so arrogant for so long," Chen Haoxuan joked, flattering Li De.
"Stop flattering me; I know my own abilities. I consider myself smarter than average, but when it comes to physical skills, I'm not that great. A random thug could easily take me down," Li De humbly replied.
"Alright, let's stop chatting and get them to the police station!" Chen Haoxuan said.
"Sure, I'll call for a car right away," Li De responded. They had taken public transport or taxis to avoid being seen by the thieves in their police vehicles. Li De made a call to the police station and requested five police cars to come over.
The police car arrived, and six thieves were pushed into the vehicle. Li De's twenty officers also boarded the police car, while Li De chose to sit in Chen Haoxuan's BMW. After all, as a bureau chief, he couldn't squeeze in with so many people!
In the car, Li De said to Chen Haoxuan, "Xuan, I didn't expect you to be such a ruthless person, breaking the other party's hand right away."
"He dared to steal my things, so he needs to pay the price for his actions. By the way, my wallet is still hidden in his sleeve! There's nothing valuable inside, just over ten thousand cash. You can take this money and treat your subordinates to some tea!" Chen Haoxuan reminded him.

His expression suggested that kicking someone's leg was as trivial as stepping on an ant.
Li De was speechless. Was there really someone who would kick another person's leg just to prevent them from escaping? That... was too ruthless!
