Meilin Huang and her aunt were unaware that the people from Shuanghu TV had invited Chen Haoxuan to participate in a program, intending to surprise them. They would surely be excited when they saw Chen Haoxuan at the Talent Show.
Chen Haoxuan often watched the television talent show and knew that guests invited to perform would be asked by the host to showcase something. To prevent this, he created some small gadgets using chemical supplies that could produce magical effects.
Despite their small size, these chemicals took Chen Haoxuan most of the day to prepare, as he had to go to many places to buy the materials.
The next morning, at 5 AM, Chen Haoxuan got up, dressed in his usual clothes, and put his crafted items in his pocket before heading out.
He asked Jiang Dong to drive him in his BMW to Xinshi Airport. The flight ticket had been purchased the day before. Chen Haoxuan put on sunglasses and boarded the plane. While on the plane, he called Zhou Jingqi, asking her to pick him up at Shuanghu County Airport.
Seventy minutes later, Chen Haoxuan arrived at Shuanghu County Airport. He walked out of the terminal and looked around for Zhou Jingqi but did not see her. After walking a short distance, he finally spotted her. Zhou Jingqi was wearing a red dress, large sunglasses, and holding a wooden sign that read "Mr. Chen," with gold ingots drawn on it to indicate that Mr. Chen was very wealthy. She did this to keep others from knowing that Chen Haoxuan was participating in the Shuanghu TV Talent Show; otherwise, how could they surprise Meilin Huang and boost their ratings?
Although Zhou Jingqi wore sunglasses and did not speak to Chen Haoxuan, he recognized her immediately. This was because he had researched Zhou Jingqi and others before coming; he had seen her photos and could identify her by details such as her body shape, height, preferred style, and other features.
Both Chen Haoxuan and Zhou Jingqi intended to conceal their appearances when they arrived, so Zhou Jingqi did not know that Chen Haoxuan was wearing sunglasses to avoid being recognized by others. They both thought if they couldn't find each other, they would call.

"I specifically looked at your photos before coming here, so I could recognize you by your figure. Plus, I know a lot about you! For example, your first love and that incident where you drank something unusual," Chen Haoxuan said with a mischievous smile.
Zhou Jingqi held the sign with one hand and placed the other hand over her mouth in surprise, exclaiming, "You can tell all that?"
"Of course! Who wouldn't with a figure like yours?" Chen Haoxuan said with a mischievous smile.
"Alright! Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Chen. Your car is waiting outside, please follow me," Zhou Jingqi gestured invitingly to Chen Haoxuan.
Chen Haoxuan casually followed Zhou Jingqi. The vehicle sent to pick him up was a luxurious van; it looked ordinary from the outside but was very lavish and spacious inside.
Sitting in the car, Chen Haoxuan politely said to Zhou Jingqi, "Host Qi Qi, thank you for coming to pick me up today."
"Mr. Chen, you're too kind," Zhou Jingqi replied courteously. While these stars could feel proud in front of their audience, they felt intimidated in front of wealthy individuals like Chen Haoxuan. Their wealth made them both envious and fearful, as these tycoons could use their money against them, which is why many say the entertainment industry is chaotic.
"Can I ask why you wanted me to come so early? Are you planning for me to participate in some performances?" Chen Haoxuan inquired.
"Yes, our director wants you to perform something you're best at, which is why we asked you to come early. Once you're here, you can practice backstage," Zhou Jingqi explained.
"I'm good at everything, so I don't need to practice. If you really want me to do well, please prepare the most famous food from Shuanghu County for me before my performance. I've heard that your Spicy Hot Pot is delicious; I wonder if you could make me a portion," Chen Haoxuan said excitedly. In his previous life, he had never liked spicy food, and this life was no different; he thought chili peppers were unappetizing. However, while researching Zhou Jingqi, he found her diary praising the flavor of Spicy Hot Pot so much that he wanted to give it a try.
