Due to time constraints, Chen Haoxuan didn't have time to change clothes; he was currently wearing pajamas. However, as he fled the room, he grabbed the car keys and his wallet.
Chen Haoxuan parked his car by the roadside and walked barefoot into a high-end Clothing Store while still in his pajamas.
"Hey, this is a place that sells high-end clothes. You need to leave," said a male attendant in the Clothing Store upon seeing Chen Haoxuan's attire. His first impression of Chen Haoxuan was that he was crazy for coming out in pajamas without even wearing shoes.
Chen Haoxuan had seen plenty of people who looked down on others. If it weren't for the fact that this was the only Clothing Store nearby, he would have turned around and left. He pulled out his wallet, opened it, and showed it to the attendant, coldly stating, "I have dozens of bank cards here. Don't even think about saying I can't buy a suit; I could max out your card machine without breaking a sweat. Buying this store is also not out of the question. You dare to kick me out? Be careful your Boss doesn't fire you."
Seeing so many bank cards in Chen Haoxuan's wallet, all of which were either platinum or diamond cards—with the lowest being gold—the attendant realized these cards weren't something anyone could just apply for; one needed sufficient funds to obtain them. The attendant regretted what he had just said, and beads of sweat began to form on his forehead.
The attendant stammered to Chen Haoxuan, "Uh... sir, I'm very sorry. Please let me explain. Recently, many country folks have come into our store without buying anything and have touched things carelessly, causing several items to get dirty. To prevent this from happening again, we don't allow anyone who is not properly dressed inside. I hope you can understand my predicament." After speaking, the attendant lowered his head as if reflecting on his actions.
"I don't have time to listen to your explanation. Quickly help me find a fitted suit—the most expensive and best one you have," Chen Haoxuan demanded confidently.
"Yes... this way please, sir. Here are works by F Country's top designers..." The attendant led Chen Haoxuan to the VIP area.
Chen Haoxuan didn't even look at the prices; he simply picked out what fit him and went into the fitting room. The attendant was perceptive enough to call over other staff members to bring a basin of clean water, a pair of leather shoes, and a tie. When Chen Haoxuan emerged from the fitting room in the fitted suit, he glanced appreciatively at the attendant for preparing everything so well.
Sitting in an office chair, Chen Haoxuan had a beautiful Waitress helping him wash his feet—this was the life of the wealthy.
After leaving the Clothing Store dressed in a fitted suit with expensive leather shoes and a patterned tie, looking impeccably neat even at night, one might think he was heading off to work as a Senior White-Collar Worker.
Upon entering a nightclub, Chen Haoxuan told the Receptionist that he was invited by Wang Fuyou. As soon as the Receptionist heard that he was a friend of Wang Fuyou's, she immediately led him politely to the private room where Wang Fuyou and others were located.
The receptionist brought Chen Haoxuan into a private room. As soon as they entered, the receptionist respectfully said, "Mr. Wang, your friend has arrived."
Wang Fuyou was taken aback by the receptionist's words, thinking to himself that he hadn't called any friends over.
Chen Haoxuan walked in with a mischievous smile and said, "Wang Fuyou, Ye Hongfei, Gong Sun Xuan, what's wrong? Don't you recognize me?"
Seeing that it was Chen Haoxuan who had entered, Wang Fuyou and the other two quickly stood up, surprised as they looked at him. They had considered that Chen Haoxuan might be lying in a hospital or had fainted at his own place, but they never imagined he would appear at a nightclub looking perfectly fine.
"What are you doing here?" Gong Sun Xuan asked sternly.
"I came with you," Chen Haoxuan replied calmly as he sat down on a sofa against the wall.
"What do you mean by that?" Gong Sun Xuan pressed further.
"You should be the ones explaining yourselves. Sneaking up on me in the middle of the night—if you don't give me a reasonable explanation, I won't call the police. However, I will write an article on my Qianfo Stone Pagoda Website about how you harmed me. You won't get caught, but your reputation will be ruined to the point where you can't show your faces in public," Chen Haoxuan said coldly.
"Chen Haoxuan, don't push us. Do you know who we are?" Ye Hongfei retorted angrily.
"One of you is the son of a wealthy tycoon, another is the son of a godfather, and the last is a second-generation official. If you think I'm afraid of you, you're mistaken. Although I'm not very powerful right now, I'm not someone whom just anyone can bully," Chen Haoxuan replied coldly.
"Alright! Chen Haoxuan, let's be straightforward. As long as you stay away from Shen Ruyan, we will absolutely not provoke you in the future," Gong Sun Xuan said earnestly.
"Do you like Shen Ruyan?" Chen Haoxuan asked.
They all nodded in agreement.
"Let me stay away from Shen Ruyan; I might not be able to do that because she is my friend now. But I can assure you, I won't pursue her. Even if she were to throw herself at me, I wouldn't accept it because I already have a girlfriend, so you don't need to worry," Chen Haoxuan said.
"This is what you said. If we find out you want Shen Ruyan, we will eliminate you without hesitation," Gong Sun Xuan coldly replied to Chen Haoxuan. Hearing Chen Haoxuan's words, he felt much more at ease because it meant one less rival.
"Don't try to scare me. With your little strength, if you go against me, I think you'll end up in a terrible state. I'm warning you, I'll let you off this time, but if you dare to provoke me again next time, don't blame me for being ruthless," Chen Haoxuan stood up and coldly addressed Wang Fuyou and the others.
Ye Hongfei glanced at the tall young man beside him, signaling him to subdue Chen Haoxuan. He couldn't stand others being more arrogant than him, so he wanted his subordinate to teach Chen Haoxuan a lesson.
The Tall Young Man understood Ye Hongfei's signal. He suddenly stood up and lunged at Chen Haoxuan.
It was too sudden. When Wang Fuyou and the others saw the tall young man pouncing on Chen Haoxuan, he grabbed Chen Haoxuan's arm.
Chen Haoxuan smiled slightly; he flipped his right hand, wrapping it around the tall young man's left arm and applying pressure while simultaneously using his left hand to deliver a powerful punch to the tall young man's nose. With a crack, the tall young man's left arm was broken by Chen Haoxuan, and his nose was shattered as well. Chen Haoxuan released the tall young man, who immediately fell to the ground, groaning in pain.
Chen Haoxuan clapped his hands and said to Wang Fuyou and the other two, "Don't try any tricks with me. If you dare to test me again in the future, this will be your fate." After saying that, Chen Haoxuan walked out of the private room with his head held high.
