After they finished breakfast, they went to school together.
The three of them were waiting at the door for Chen Haoxuan. When they saw Chen Haoxuan and Shen Ruyan appear together, they felt puzzled. They had arrived quite early today! They hadn’t seen Shen Ruyan leave, so how could they be together?
“Oh, I know! This morning, I was caught by Shen Ruyan while I was on the roof of the Girls' Dormitory Building with Chen Haoxuan. Later, Chen Haoxuan ran away, and Shen Ruyan went after him. Are they together now? Did they spend a few hours together?” Wang Fuyou said.

Shen Ruyan saw Wang Fuyou and the others pulling Chen Haoxuan into the restroom and stomped her feet in anger. “Hmph! I knew they would trick girls. If you have the ability, compete with me first. If you can’t even beat me, don’t dream about being my boyfriend,” Shen Ruyan scolded.
Inside the boys' restroom on the first floor, Wang Fuyou and the others let go of Chen Haoxuan. Wang Fuyou said, “Chen Haoxuan, did Shen Ruyan chase after you yesterday? Did she catch up with you? Did you tell her the truth?”
“Sorry, she already knows everything. Don’t blame me; it’s not my fault; she overheard us talking,” Chen Haoxuan replied.
“So what should we do now?” Gong Sun Xuan asked.
“If she knows, then we can pursue her openly,” Chen Haoxuan said confidently.
“Right! It’s our responsibility to pursue her; she can only choose one of us,” Ye Hongfei added.
“How about this: you three ask her out every day. Wang Fuyou, you cover all the expenses; Ye Hongfei, you handle the invitations; Gong Sun Xuan, make sure to inform the traffic department so that we don’t get stopped by traffic police due to too much commotion,” Chen Haoxuan suggested.
"Worried about being stopped by the traffic police, how serious could it be?" Wang Fuyou questioned.
"Yeah, yeah! Give us a hint," Ye Hongfei also wanted to know.
"This is what I think. Let's take action today. We’ll borrow all the luxury cars in New City; if we can't borrow them, we'll rent them. Then, Ye Hongfei, you can pick some good-looking thugs dressed in designer suits to sit in those borrowed or rented luxury cars. As for the money issue, you can discuss it with Wang Fuyou. As for how many people we need, that’s still uncertain because it depends on how many luxury cars we can get. I estimate three people per car.
Gong Sun Xuan, you're from an influential family; the traffic police in New City should give you some face. You should greet them to avoid past issues. If possible, it would be best if you could get a few traffic police officers to escort us on their motorcycles. At that point, you’ll definitely look impressive. Even if Shen Ruyan doesn’t agree to one of you, she’ll probably find it hard to forget you for the rest of her life," Chen Haoxuan said with a mischievous smile.
Chen Haoxuan didn’t know why he wanted to tease Shen Ruyan.

"You’re all bad men," Shen Ruyan huffed angrily.

"Rogue," Shen Ruyan retorted playfully.
"I'm done talking to you." Chen Haoxuan rolled his eyes at Shen Ruyan and then said to Wang Fuyou and the others, "Brothers, let’s go and have some fun."
Watching Chen Haoxuan and the others leave, Shen Ruyan wanted to follow them too, but it didn’t fit her usual character. In the past, others always followed her; now being asked to follow someone else felt awkward.
Chen Haoxuan and the others got into Wang Fuyou's BMW and left New City University. Wang Fuyou took them to a luxurious hotel and then started making phone calls frantically, asking people to lend him their cars for a few days and have them brought to the hotel immediately.
Wang Fuyou's friends generally drive BMWs, Mercedes, Ferraris, and so on; those with lower status are not qualified to be his friends. Of course, Chen Haoxuan is an exception because he is too lazy to buy a car, not because he can't afford one.
Chen Haoxuan suggested that Wang Fuyou rent four stretch Lincoln cars, one for each of them. The reason Chen Haoxuan would take one is that if he doesn't go, who would know to direct the others?
Gong Sun Xuan also knows quite a few wealthy people, and for their future, they all started calling to borrow cars.

Shen Ruyan did not attend class today; she was not in the mood to go. She wandered around the campus, curious about where Chen Haoxuan and the others had gone and why they hadn't returned yet.
Chen Haoxuan and his team were sure to impress everyone when they collaborated the next day.
By evening, Wang Fuyou instructed his friends to return their cars and come back at eight o'clock the next day.
Gong Sun Xuan returned and informed Chen Haoxuan that the director of the transportation bureau said he would provide strong support. Not only did he send four traffic police on motorcycles, but he also dispatched two police cars. With them clearing the way, they were sure to make a big impression.
