"Just watch!" Sharpshooter said confidently before leaving with a sniper rifle.
Soon, Chen Haoxuan heard the sound of gunfire, which he recognized as coming from the rooftop. This indicated that it was Sharpshooter firing. A marksman like Sharpshooter would never shoot without aiming, so Chen Haoxuan was certain that with each shot fired, one of Abel's snipers would fall.
Seeing Chen Haoxuan daring to resist, Abel angrily shouted, "Go, capture Chen Haoxuan for me!"
Sixty Elite Ninjas and ten agents rushed towards Chen Haoxuan's residence from all directions, gunfire ringing out continuously.
Each of them was desperately pulling the trigger, and Abel's men were falling one by one. After losing over twenty people, they finally managed to breach Chen Haoxuan's residence.
Seeing her subordinates enter Chen Haoxuan's place, Meihiko smiled. Their ninjas were masters of close combat; with over forty Elite Ninjas entering the narrow building, she believed Chen Haoxuan was doomed.
With the Dragon Group backing him up, Chen Haoxuan had nothing to fear! He wandered through the building with dual pistols, firing at any enemies he encountered. His shooting speed was rapid; anyone who crossed his path would quickly meet their end.
They had now scattered, each taking on their own enemies. Strongman sat on a sofa in the living room on the second floor, holding a machine gun. He saw five or six ninjas coming through the window and immediately opened fire.
It had to be admitted that these ninjas were incredibly agile. Upon seeing Strongman spraying bullets at them, they quickly sought cover. Despite their agility, a few unfortunate ones still fell victim to Strongman's fire.
Seeing three ninjas approaching him, Strongman tossed aside his machine gun and engaged them in hand-to-hand combat. Although he wasn't as fast as the ninjas, his strength was overwhelming; any ninja he caught faced certain death. After sustaining several cuts and wounds, he successfully killed all three ninjas. To him, those injuries were merely superficial.
Flower Speed was seen as a reaper by the ninjas; whenever they faced him in a gunfight, they would be swiftly dispatched with a single strike. The speed of Flower Speed's blade was so quick that none of the ninjas even saw it coming; they only felt a chill at their throats before losing their precious lives.
Screams echoed from Chen Haoxuan's residence. Hearing these cries, Abel and Meihiko turned pale; they could tell that those screaming were their subordinates.
"Could it be that Chen Haoxuan has set up a formation in this building?" Abel asked with a trembling voice.
"Not a squad, but a master from the Dragon Group. Our people are no match for them," Meihiko said, her face pale. After losing so many Elite Ninjas last time, she was anxious about what kind of punishment awaited her when she returned to the Island Nation.
In just fifteen minutes, Chen Haoxuan and his team had dealt with all of Abel's subordinates. Chen Haoxuan shouted from inside the building, "Abel, all your subordinates are dead. Do you still want to fight me?"
"Chen Haoxuan, don't get too cocky. This time we only deployed ordinary agents and ninjas. If we had sent real masters, you wouldn't even know how you died," Abel replied coldly.
Chen Haoxuan walked out of the building with Shen Ruyan and approached Abel's position. Abel and her team did not flee because they understood the strength of the people behind Chen Haoxuan.
Standing in front of Abel, Chen Haoxuan said, "What if I told you that the people who attempted to assassinate you last night weren't sent by Strongman? Someone is trying to frame me. Would you believe it?"
"Who else at New City University has such a physique besides Strongman?" Abel looked at Chen Haoxuan coldly.
"Just because someone is as strong as Strongman doesn't mean they are Strongman. Let me tell you, I, Chen Haoxuan, am not an idiot. If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't send just one person. I would have Sharpshooter sniping from a distance, then send Flower Speed for close combat, and have Death set up poison for you in advance... With all of them working together, even a god would die. So there’s no need for me to be foolish enough to send just one person to kill both of you. Even if I did send someone, it wouldn’t be Strongman because one-on-one combat isn’t his specialty; he excels in group fights," Chen Haoxuan explained passionately.
After hearing Chen Haoxuan's explanation, Abel was somewhat convinced. She asked in confusion, "Then who was it that tried to assassinate us?"
"I suspect it was those who were trying to demolish my residence," Chen Haoxuan replied lightly.
Meihiko interjected sharply at Chen Haoxuan, "What do you mean? If you didn't want to assassinate us, why not explain?"
Chen Haoxuan shrugged helplessly and said, "I want to explain, but you don't give me the chance! Plus, you keep looking for trouble with me. You must think I'm afraid of you, so this time I decided to fight you openly. I didn't expect you to be so weak."
Meihiko's chest heaved with anger as she retorted at Chen Haoxuan, "Is that why you killed all our subordinates just to show us you're not easy to mess with?"
Chen Haoxuan shrugged and said, "Do you really want to die? Should I stop you?"
"Fine, Chen Haoxuan, I'll remember what you just said," Meihiko replied coldly.
"You shouldn't hate me; you should hate the person who framed me. If it weren't for him making you misunderstand me, how could you have suffered such great losses?" Chen Haoxuan said.
"We will find him. As for you, I advise you to cooperate with us; otherwise, you won't have a good time," Abel warned.
"A mundane life would take away my joy of living, so I welcome any trouble you bring my way," Chen Haoxuan replied lightly with a smile.
"Chen Haoxuan, let me ask you, now that we are in your hands, do you want to kill us or let us go?" Abel asked seriously.
"Of course, I want to let you go! After all, we are old acquaintances; why would I kill you? Right?" Chen Haoxuan said cheerfully.
"Alright, Chen Haoxuan, I hope that when we come back to China to find you again, you're still alive. If you're dead, I'll dig up your grave," Abel said coldly.
"Even if you're dead, I won't die. Just leave! Seeing you all makes me very uncomfortable," Chen Haoxuan grumbled.
