Chen Haorong wore a flattering smile as he said to Chen Haoxuan, "Haoxuan, long time no see."
Chen Haoxuan looked at Chen Haorong's disgusting smile, and his brows furrowed. He hated such hypocritical expressions. His tone was devoid of any emotion as he replied, "I heard you kicked your parents out of the house yesterday. Is that true?"

Chen Haoxuan asked with interest, "Didn't you say you've reflected on it? Then why did you kick your parents out as soon as you returned?"
"Haoxuan, you've misunderstood. I didn't kick them out; they wanted to leave on their own," Chen Haorong hurriedly explained.
"Oh, really?" Chen Haoxuan smirked.
"Yes, I'm not lying. I really didn't kick them out; they chose to leave. You can ask others if you don't believe me," Chen Haorong insisted earnestly.
"Oh," Chen Haoxuan replied and then walked into the villa.
Chen Haorong was momentarily stunned. What was going on? I was still chatting with you! Why did you just leave without a word?
Now feeling quite thick-skinned, Chen Haorong followed Chen Haoxuan into the villa. Li Ping didn't want to let Chen Haorong in, but her kind nature made it difficult for her to kick him out.
Chen Haoxuan walked into the villa, treating it as casually as if it were his own home. He poured himself a glass of milk and leaned back on the sofa to relax, while his Tibetan Mastiff lay obediently at his feet.
After Chen Haorong entered the living room, he did not sit down but stood to the side, politely addressing Chen Haoxuan: "Haoxuan, I'm here today because I want to invest in Chen Agricultural Company. I asked Aunt Ping, and she said I need your approval."
Chen Haoxuan waved his hand and replied, "I am indeed the largest shareholder of Chen Agricultural Company, but it is not solely my decision. Chen Agricultural Company belongs to the entire Chen Family Village, so if you want to invest, you will need the support of most villagers. Here’s what you should do: take a piece of paper, write your application on it, and have the villagers sign it. If most villagers agree, Aunt Ping will certainly allow you to invest."
Without needing to think, Chen Haoxuan knew that the villagers would never agree because Chen Haorong was a person everyone despised. Most importantly, he was the person Chen Haoxuan hated the most. The villagers would surely think that if they signed their names, Chen Haoxuan would resent them. If that happened, they would not be able to prosper alongside him.
Hearing Chen Haoxuan's words, Chen Haorong immediately wore a bitter expression. He pleaded, "Haoxuan, you know I’ve offended many people in the past and my reputation in Chen Family Village is not good. If you ask me to plead with them, they definitely won’t agree. But if you approve, it would be different; no one would dare oppose what you agree to."
"But why should I agree?" Chen Haoxuan smiled.
"Because... because..." Chen Haorong stammered and could not come up with a reason. Pleading with us is useless because we cannot represent the entire village. To put it simply, Xuan is just a shareholder and I am merely a manager working for the villagers; we have no authority. If you approach the villagers and they agree, we cannot possibly deny your investment application."

Chen Haorong had nothing more to say; he truly couldn't do those things. In the past, when his father wanted him to farm, he would rather run away from home and hang out with his friends from the village. Moreover, he looked down on farming, so asking him to do it was like asking for his life.
Chen Haorong was unwilling to accept this. He thought of a way and spoke again to Chen Haoxuan: "Haoxuan, actually my wife has Heart Disease and needs to take medication every day; otherwise, her life would be in danger.
